Since it updates on any page that I click+right button I get a dropdown with all the options, regardless of what I click on.

I am on windows 11 , firefox version 135.0.1 (64-bit)

I was using the control key with single word urls, like "nfl," as a shortcut to go to nfl.com. That had been working until the most recent update, albeit with a right-click menu appearing after Firefox opened the desired page. Now, when I hold the control key with the location bar active, Firefox brings up the right-click menu without going to the desired page. For example, if I enter nfl.com and hit ctrl-enter, the browser stays on the current page and brings up the right-click menu even though I'm not clicking the mouse. Is this a bug or new behavior. (Note: I have Firefox set to autocomplete only bookmarks.)

It opened every time I typed.

I asked ChatGPT and turned off both "Search page when you start typing" in settings and made some config files to block it.

It still shows up when I press ' or / outside a text input.

I remapped the "Select All" command on my computer from CMD - A to CMD - E. In order to make the change for all apps, MacOS allows changing the shortcut in:

Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts > All Applications (or by adding application specific shortcut changes.)

I added an entry for "Select All" as CMD - E, which works for all my applications except for Firefox. Firefox even recognizes that the shortcut was modified, but still defaults to CMD - A as the default. What can I do to fix this?

Imagine I am Rip van W inkel, who undertands normal language (in my case English) but understand nothing of what has appeared on my screen while atttempting to make payment to my local authority.

Zoom default is at 100% but certain websites ignore setting. www.duckduckgo.com always comes in at 200% and is immediately reset by Ctrl+0. If I select one of the search options and press the back arrow to go back to search results, it is again at 200%. Other websites behave similarly with different zoom levels of 120%.

Since your browser refuses to update properly I’m obviously needing to find someone else to pay them to replace your crap since you have intentionally made support access impossible and refused to acknowledge messages to fix your malfunctioning update issues!!

how do i restore the red save button on articles for pocket? It's blank now. The last mozilla update for firefox removed them and they are now hidden behind the three dot thing requiring extra clicks. How do I put it back how it was before? I don't like extra clicks. The kids who design this crap must have a lot of extra time to click three times to do what one click on the screen worked fine, but they always have to mess with it and make everything hidden, take longer and be more tedious. Stop this madness. How do I get it back how it was before they wrecked it?????? HELP

I'm an old codger who loves playing with computer as I blog...so shortcuts was very interest catnip for me...however, testing the SHORTCUT "CTRL SHIFT T" failed while "CTRL SHIFT W" was successful. Have I missed something or am I doing something wrong with that restore deleted tab shortcut?

I suffer from Parkinson's Disease ads find the various "hot-keys" to be more annoying than of ANY potential benefit, all too often causing unwanted actions due to some errant key-press.

Is it possible to disable ALL?

Certain websites come off as super dark or super light, hiding the fonts so I can't read content. I experiemented with color scheme (theme) but need to reset to a standard theme so I can read all websites. I don't know how to do that.
