Hi,

We have an application where we do not want to share the session cookies between tabs. Is this possible? If above answer is yes, next we would like to filter out some cookies by name that should not be shared across tabs. Meaning, we want some cookies that can be shared across tabs and some should not be shared.

Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 or v117.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

Steps: 1. Login to the application 2. Operate on the screen 3. Navigate to other URLs, but still on this tab 4. Session storage was lost

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on this.... I'm using the very latest version of Firefox 124.0.2 (64bit) And recently having a problem when video chatting on facebook when chatting I can't see the "Cam" Icon to call up. Yet on Crome all is good.

Any help?

When I turn off the windows animations in Windows 10 the font on Twitter.com changes somewhat. I believe it is altering the character spacing/scaling.

I have not had this behavior on other browsers (Brave, Edge, Chrome & OperaGX tested). I have not noticed this on other websites, but I also haven't really looked.

Starting Friday April 19, I have been experiencing constant very brief internet outages/reconnections while using Facebook on the desktop. The outages do not occur anywhere else on the internet...and do not occur on other browsers. I prefer to use Firefox. I am using Windows 11.

I have Firefox 124.0.2 running on Windows 11. For some reason, I can't update Firefox. When I manually down load the update file, it appears to run Ok, but the version doesn't change. If I go to settings and click on "Check for Updates" is comes back and says Failed to Check for Updates. How do I fix this?

I have Windows 11 and Firefox 124.0.2. Firefox keeps asking to reinstall. I think it is because I keep getting the message that it fails to check for updates. I don't know if I have installed the Microsoft Firefox or the direct Mozilla Firefox downloaded. Maybe that is the problem, but I am not tech savvy. I have used Firefox for many years and like it. I am also too old (83) to deal with these problems. Help!

the issue now i have with firefox 124.0.2 is that the transition is now instant when my mouse enters or leaves the window and one of my addon buttons (roboform) no longer works with this userchrome.css edit.

its been a few updates ago it broke maybe 15 or so and now im wondering if there is a better updated script that works like it used to.

I have boon using Firefox as my primary browser for a very long time. Now, every time I start Firefox, I get a message that update failed, and that I should manually download the update file and run it. I do so, the update appears to work, and firefox behaves, until I stop it and restart again. Then I get the same message. I looked on line - it appears that others have had this problem, but no clear solution. I am not willing to use Edge, but am beginning to wonder if it is time to leave Firefox. Hi,

I'm using FF on Fedora 39.

However Firefox does not remember any file associations. The MimeTypes.rdf file in the profile is missing and is also not created on restarting the browser.

In the options I've now set the configuration to "Ask whether to open or save files". Now I see a popup when clicking on a file however there is no checkbox with "remember this file associations" (or something similiar).

I have windows 11 and the firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

when I search for a page after opening a tab. The page will load slowly then stop. I'll then have to hit enter again for the page the load. This does not happen with Chrome or Edge. Any ideas how to fix this frustrating issue. Thanks.

The latest version of firefox for MacOS 14.4.1 has broken the picture in picture function. When enabling PiP, the video window takes up almost the entire screen and doesn't remember the size i set it to, like it did in older versions of Firefox. Another issue is when im in fullscreen mode and enable PiP, the PiP window takes me to another 'desktop', whereas before it would simply overlay on top of my screen.
