Hi all.

My sync is only sometimes working. I notice that when saving a bookmark and trying to find it on another device. I sometimes have to manually resync it or wait for a few days to get it shown on my other devices. Same with the tab sharing across devices.. In most cases it doesn't work at all..

I'm trying to reset my Firefox account password. I know my password is correct, because I just signed into my Firefox account with it.

Every time I try to change the password however, it tells me my old password is incorrect. I know it's not incorrect because as stated, I just signed into my account with it.

Not sure exactly how to fix this one, any suggestions welcome.

I am a long-time user of Firefox and recently had to re-install the browser on my Laptop. I have the latest version of Firefox on both my Desktop and Laptop and have tried to sync my Desktop Settings (tabs, bookmarks, etc ) to my Laptop such that when I open Firefox on the Laptop it mirrors what I see on my Desktop, but to no avail.

Is it possible to recover information according Sync to the recorded date(For example, the possibility of choosing to selectively retrieve Sync information from : a day ago.or 1week ago or 1 month ago.....)?

Or is there only one date and that is the last backup date? I want to use a new computer and there is no data from the previous computer's hard drive

Hi, I use google chrome for work and firefox for personal use. I did not want firefox to import my bookmarks from Googe Chrome but somehow it did. Do I have to remove these bookmarks one at a time? And how do I prevent this from happening again?

On Wednesday, 12/6, I got a new work computer. FYI--both old and new computers are Dell laptops using Windows.

So on Tuesday 12/5, I had synched everything--Bookmarks, History, Open tabs, everything. I checked to make sure everything had synched because I knew I didn't want to lose my info.

After I had done that, I also signed out and deleted the history from that old device because it said that wouldn't affect the synched information.

On the new device, I haven't been able to access everything from that sync. I can see that most of my Bookmarks are there but the Open Tabs are nowhere to be found.

In "Connected Service", I see my old device listed but it says the last sync from that device was 4 months ago (that is definitely not the case).

When I look under "re-open all tabs" in Settings it only shows what I've opened on this new device (mostly Help topics trying to figure this out!)

Is there anyway to get back to the most recent sync? Especially but not only the Open Tabs?

Dear community, I have used firefox for years now and I had it synced with my email adressed. Today I wanted to login with a second profile (from my work) (I did this via about:profiles, adding a new profile) and when I logged back into my private email I had to change the password since I forgot. Suddenly ALL my user data was deleted, my passwords, my bookmarks, my history. It even shows in my profile that I just opend the account with that email adress now, today, even though I had my account for years. ALL my data is lost. PLEASE help! I am desperate. Thank you sooo much <3

I changed my PC. Then i installed Firefox my new PC and login Firefox account. But my old PC's Firefox account all data will de deleted history passwords etc. It was looks like a new account. How can i restore my old data. My old PC was already formatted.

My sign on for my webmail has not worked for the past couple of months. I have changed my password and this does not help. I have contacted Centurylink and tried everything they suggested and it still does not work. Have you changed something with the browser that it does not function anymore with my email? My email works using Microsoft Edge browser. It just sits on the sign in page and gives me no reason it does not work. I have cleared my cache and it does not help.

For some reason my Firefox on my Mac and Windows computer won't sync even though I am using the same account. I would like my Mac to look the same as my Windows computer. I have tried logging in and logging out on both, all the basic fixes but nothing has helped.

Rond 26 november heb ik mijn firefox browser verwijdert niet wetende dat hierdoor mijn bestanden die via firefox waren opgeslagen op mijn google drive niet meer toegankelijk zijn .

Ik heb een nieuwe firefox account moeten maken echter die kan de verdwenen bestanden ook niet terugvinden.

Wellicht dat mijn oude firefox account van voor 26 november wel de weg weet naar de verloren bestanden.

Kunt er voor zorgen dat mijn oude firefox account van voor 26 november herstelt word?

I am having trouble sending tabs from my phone to my PC. My device is connected to my computer, and I can send tabs from my PC to my phone successfully, but not the other way around. I have no idea what could even be the issue, and I have only seen people asking about sending tabs from PC to Mobile, not the other way around. Is there something I am missing? None of the Firefox troubleshoot pages have helped.

I used Firefox Sync when I bought my new computer and it worked perfectly. This time, I had to reset my computer and forgot my password. Using my account associated email, I reset my password and my information was gone.

i had to rebuild my laptop computer and set up firefox on it, set up/turned on sync and the browser does NOT match the broswer srttings on the desktop where the sync comes from. bookmarked weblink icons only show up when a new tab is opened and vanish once a website is opened, icons for bookmarked weblinks on the bookmarks bar are generic wireframe globe-like-icons only, the custom firefox colour setup i struggled to create over the course of several weeks does not appear at all, nor does the dark theme. how then do i get this to -really- syc???

after the I logged to my firefox account and all the data store was lost

does it get sync any where? it was 10 years of data.

Every birthday I reset my pc too have a nice fresh start. well today I reset my pc and I went to login in and the password is wrong I don't know why it is but it is. I did sign in through google and that worked but it wont let me get back all my stuff without the password (even though im signed in through google?) please help
