I can no longer use Firefox web browser to go to my email in yahoo. Every time I try to log in with my correct password I get reCAPtCHA protected window, which does not work properly and I can never get by this box.

So I have not choice in the matter of using Firefox for my personal email. I do not have this issue in Chrome or Safari.

Is it something in the security settings of Firefox that is causing this issue?

I just downloaded Firefox on my new PC (laptop) but for an unknown reason opening a link in a new tab doesn't work. Opening a link in a new window doesn't work either, and opening the link in a new private window does not work either. It is getting frustrating to say the least, as I've never encountered this problem before and I have no idea what to do. :)

So, I've been using the Picture-in-Picture feature of Firefox a lot - when it works well, it's a really useful feature, especially if, like me, you use a second screen to play the video on, but don't like the overlay constantly popping up over the video. And, when the video is in a modern, widescreen aspect ratio, it usually works.

The problem is that when I try to watch, in fullscreen, a video that's in a 4:3 ratio, as many are on Netflix, Amazon and the like, the Picture-in-Picture window will often, presumably registering the black space on either side, zoom right into the video, cutting off a massive portion of the frame and filling the screen completely. Sometimes it doesn't do that at all, sometime it can be fixed by restarting the video and fiddling with the timings and sometimes there's just seemingly nothing I can do and it just will not stop doing it, no matter how much I reload or what I do!

Please tell me how I can get the damn thing to just keep the video in place and stop it deciding "Hey! You don't need to see all of the video, do you?! No, of course you don't!"

I've done the restart firefox to stop freezes multiple times. Still happens. Any ideas?

I keep getting freezes, slow downs, sometimes a warning that a page is slow to respond. I'm running FF 83.0. I have the following add-ons: - AdBlock - Colorful Tabs - Hover Zoom - Scroll Zoom - Search by Image.

I'm guessing one of the add-ons is causing the problem, but don't know which one. I've done the restart firefox to stop freezes multiple times. Still happens. Any ideas?

First of all, I have to thank you to build the community in your freetime. I've changed my computer. I have 2 firefox accounts, the first for private browsing, the second one for work browsing, and I use them via different Firefox profiles. The configuration of the private account (adam**********y@gmail.com) was succesful. But the configuration of the work account (s****i@orfk.police.hu) was not. I've used this accounts since 2013, and I'd reconfigured them so many times, and there wasn't any problem until now. The actually problem is the unreceived verigfication email. I've tried the actions below: - checking email working -> Perfectly works. - checking spam folder -> There is no any mail in the spam folder. - adding accounts@firefox.com to contact list -> Done. I did not get the verification emails. The administrators probably changed the security settings. I cannot log in, I cannot sync. I tried to send you this letter from my work e-mail, but I did not find any support address, just this option. How can I resolve this problem? Thans for your help.

I was not able to log into my bank account website tonight, because it kept giving me an error saying 'Feature temporarily unavailable' every time I tried. (attached) I contacted the bank Support, and they told me to clear the cache and try again, but that did not help either. I was able to get into my account using Chrome browser, but this is a constant thing with Firefox, that websites will not work properly for one reason or another, and I have to open a different browser to be able to complete my objectives. Firefox consistently complains about permissions to open websites that were working fine just this morning. Almost like it is random, or something. As well, trying to use online chat in Firefox, is a joke, and I almost religiously have to go to a different browser to chat with anybody online. I have noticed that, for around the last year or so, Firefox browser has become less and less useful,and more and more tedious to use, which is leading me to think about changing my default browser to one that is more reliable. I have been using Firefox, as my browser for many years now, and hope that it can be corrected somehow, because I do not want to switch to a different browser truthfully. I do have addons, mainly ad blockers, but if I remove all addons, the same problems remain. Am I going to have to switch to a different browser that is more consistent, if I want to be able to have reliable internet usage, until you guys get your collective acts together, or what??

A few months ago I started having issues logging into certain websites. First, it was logging into Quickbooks. Now I can't log in to my antivirus account, which is Kaspersky. The issue is identical with both websites. I can log in to these websites if I use a different browser, like Microsoft Edge. If I try using Mozilla, the log in page will load, but after I enter my user name and password and hit the log in button the page just sits there and does nothing.
