I keep getting notifications, supposedly from Mozilla and/or Microsoft on lower right of my screen, telling me the system is infected. How do i determine if these messages are valid, or a scam ? Turned computer off and back on--messages keep popping up.

can you give us the option to change the hotkeys/shortcuts please? is it possible for this to be an option for the future, I and I believe a lot of others switching from chrome to firefox would like the accessibility to change it as to what they're used to. Thank you very much for your time.

Instead of syncing my current settings, sync just overwrote them with an old, outdated copy from another device, completely ruining my addons, bookmarks and various other settings. I managed to restore the bookmarks, but is there really no proper way to undo this or prevent such thing from happening in the first place? Is there no way to control if I want to sync my setting TO the server or FROM the server? How such a vital decision is even made then and why wouldn't there be a way for a user to control that? This is so disappointing :(

Trying to download Tampermonkey for Firefox. I'm NOT very good at computers, be nice! Every time I click on the "Add Tampermonkey to Firefox" button, I get "You are not online. Please check your internet connection." and it won't download it.

I AM on the Internet, tried it just now before coming here and it still won't believe I'm online. Everything else does. Why won't Tampermonkey?

Chris. Who's using Windows 10 on an antique computer that was designed for Windows XP! And Firefox, Best Browser.

I need to recover a `.jsonlz4` file to restore a Firefox session with 8 active instances, as the "Restore Session" feature only opened 5 due to the `browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo` setting being capped at 5, and the full original `.jsonlz4` file is now missing.

In the`firefox/Crash Reports` directory, there are numerous files I can’t interpret, can I retrieve my session data via telemetry or other methods using this crash information. I’m using Linux Mint with Flatpak Firefox, and I also have crash logs containing a "last crash" text file and a string of numbers, could these be useful for getting back my session?

Simply put, I continue to get a message window telling me to update Firefox. I continue to get a response saying I need Windows 10 or later installed. I am running Windows 11 Home on my PC. Multiple attempts to get a reply on this from Mozilla Support. No replies.

Hi Yesterday I replaced my computer. I'm trying to sync my account data, but unfortunately, nothing is syncing. I have all the data selected for syncing (bookmarks, history, etc.), and the logs in about:sync-log are empty. It looks like the data from your server has been cleared. Firefox is freshly installed. Please help.

I cannot display Amazon Deals properly that contain multiple he products. The home page and single products display normally. should be. A page with multiple products has large blank areas where the product should be. If I move the mouse over these spots, a soundless video will often display.

My clearing of the temporary cache files did not help. Stopping Ghostery doesn't help either. Other add-ons include Last Pass, Honey, Review Meta and Facebook Fences.

When using the new version of Firefox, I found that bookmarks only appeared in new tabs. Once I opened other web pages, there were no bookmarks above the screen, which made me feel inconvenient. Previously, the new tabs could also be customized, but now they can only be blank or the default pages of Firefox. So, can the new version of Firefox solve these problems? Or which of the older versions of Firefox can still meet my requirements?

I can't figure out how to add a custom search shortcut, is this no longer possible in Firefox (without installing addons/extensions)?

I recall 'custom search' being more or less ubiquitous, and feel like there was an "Add" button below the Search Shortcuts UI not that long ago.

Bookmarks with keywords would be a reasonable workaround if it weren't for having to prefix the keyword to the search terms.

Okay, i have been using librewolf for awhile now since i got my desktop fully built. today i went to go search something related to my phone and instead of using duckduckgo it automatically used Google. i do not want this and have no idea how to fix it

There are times that I use the screenshot tool on X.com and the filename it saves to is WAY too long. Sometimes it tries to use the entire content of the post as the filename. I see this effect in the title bar as well. Is there a way to change it so it only uses a date/timestamp and nothing else? Attached is an example of this extremely long naming.
