Since the last update, the firefox taskbar icon is showing a strange shopping card icon? How can I remove it? I am not shopping with Firefox, I am using it as my web browser.

I've got a new SSD and have reinstalled Firefox as my browser. In the past I've had the address field on the left and the search field to its right. I can get the search field on the same level as the address field but have not been able to switch their locations.

I have attached a screen shot of that section of my browser home page.

I thank you for whatever suggestions or guidance anyone can give.

Web pages that are supposed to contain emojis are blank. I can highlight where emojis are supposed to be shown but the actual images of the emojis aren't there. about:config font.name-list.emoji correctly contains "Apple Color Emoji" If it is relevant, this has been a bug/issue that has persisted for a couple of months now (can't name an exact date).

146.0 (64-bit) Windows 11 December 11, 2025 Turned on computer this am, Firefox webpage popped up telling me about what is in it's future but now my side bar is black print on really dark background. Help!

The entire window of Firefox has an abnormally low resolution, makes the entire browser seems blurred. This issue occurs after I upgrade firefox to 146.0. I've attached a screenshot, and you can see the Firefox window has lower resolution than the wallpaper and task bar.

It looks an update occurred but now my bookmarks Column has a white background with white type. I can't read anything there because its all the same color how do I change the background to black?

Running version 146.0.1 No new extensions. Recently, when I hit ctrl+b to bring up the bookmarks sidebar, it opens but doesn't display the bookmark correctly. (image #1) The sidebar opens, but everything is whited out. The same thing happens when I try to open the history sidebar, except that the urls kind of show up. (image #2). Also, when I'm on my homepage, there's a white line on the left side that I can't get rid off. (image #3) I also tried refreshing firefox, but that didn't do anything. Does anyone have an idea what may be causing this? Thanks

My bookmarks side bar font changed color from black to white, how do I get it back to black?

I can't seem to find where the font color is available to change colors.

My address bar disappeared. I can get it back by hitting F10 but it doesn't stay. How can I get it back and keep it? When I go to the Customize Toolbar setting, the address bar is not there.

Why can't anyone fix this issue? Every day I have to go to about:config, enter "mica" then change from false to true or true to false to get these buttons to show up. It's ridiculous. I am currently using Firefox version 146.1 on Windows 11. Also, please note if I change the windows widget to true these buttons show up and are usable. The next days I have to change the windows widget to false and they show up and are usable so they work whether or not the widget is set to true or false. The problem is having to change the setting DAILY. I should not be having to do this.

My emails used to display in date order but since a Mozilla upgrade they are now grouped as Today, Yesterday and Last Week. Is there a setting to alter this back to one list in date order please?

Not sure if this is the correct topic, but I have been using Firefox for over 20 years, and after the last update, there is an icon missing from my Firefox browser page. It's the "file" icon in the very upper left corner of the window that allows "new tab", "new window", etc. I'm still using windows10, on an ASUS PC, but never had the problem until just recently. I've restarted the computer, reloaded the window, nothing works to restore that icon/function. Thanks - Mike B

With the last couple of updates to Firefox (now running v133) on Windows 10 I noticed that there is a new search bar that overwrites the tabs on top of the Firefox window when I click into the URL bar, which is set up to be used for search. This began to happen recently but I'd like to know how to configure Firefox to do search like it used to, in the URL bar not a new search bar, and disable this new search bar that disorients me when it pops up and disappears.

Is it possible to hide the address bar entirely when entering full screen. When I use Safari I have the option to hide everything except the page i am looking at, this makes reading manga really nice and distraction free.

Obviously I'd prefer to use Firefox so I was wondering if this is possible in settings or is a planned feature in the future.
