How would one purge their cookies, search history, tab data while resetting/randomising identifiable information (for example if Firefox were to give each user a serial number or unique tag which it hands to webpages), all without resetting a users a user's browser settings, about:config & browser extensions downloaded (and extension settings). I am using Debian GNU/Linux, so bear in mind that I will be using the most stable version of Firefox on the Debian repos, not the newest version. I do not have a command line phobia, I am willing to do a lot of initial setup & run a specific command every time I launch the browser, even if said command is long. My current system involves rm -rfing the profile on a browser, but this is not optimal because it removes settings & extensions.

I wanted to view my full history but that option doesn't show. Using V130.0 464bit Under Privacy and Security I'm showing "Remember History" and the only other thing listed is to "Clear History". No option to view history. Any ideas?

I have a question regarding the permission requests of the Simple Tab Groups extension by Drive4ik.

As I'm sure many of you know, this extension needs to: This add-on needs to:

• Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
• Monitor extension usage and manage themes
• Display notifications to you
• Access recently closed tabs
• Hide and show browser tabs
• Access browser tabs
• Store unlimited amount of client-side data
• Access your data for all websites

This add-on may also ask to: Read and modify bookmarks

Theoretically, I find this extension useful but I am concerned about the "Access your data for all websites" requirement. I read through Mozilla's permission request messages for Firefox extensions documentation and it seems like granting this extension these permissions would be a huge risk for the work I do– investigative journalism. It seems like I'll trade organizational benefits for a wider attack surface.

Can anyone speak more about the risks involved with using this extension, the trustworthiness of the developer, and why it needs the "Access your data for all websites" capability?

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I visited eBay.com yesterday, Now, every time I search art or photos, an eBay page selling such items pops up. Adblock Pluse extension does not stop it.

I'm using Firefox 129.01 (64-bit), trying to log in to my Tufts Health Plan account, and get a security warning (screen shot attached). Customer Service at Tufts Health Plan tells me that I should use Chrome.

Should I ignore the Warning and proceed?

The page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot lacks the list of data shared with the chatbot AI providers. It would be nice to know how it is done, how to review the data, and how pages can provide better data.

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

Policy Value ImportEnterpriseRoots

                         true

If I could get more information on this suspected error, or how to correct it, that would be great. Thanks!

We have set up exceptions for mail.google.com and accounts.google.com in Settings. Yet, Gmail is still asking for passwords to log in and saving them. I thought I had done all it would take to have Gmail remember them. Am I missing something?

Also, we cleared cache.

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

We use a privacy technology vendor named OneTrust to power much of our privacy infrastructure.

This morning, two websites reported Firefox users are encountering site functionality problems when trying to exercise their privacy rights, such as opting out of sharing data and targeted advertising. My team investigated and was able to reproduce the reported bug.

We discovered the cause of the bug is that Firefox's Privacy Enhanced Mode is by default blocking two domains from our privacy vendor OneTrust which are critical to the functioning of our CMP (Consent Management Platform): - cookielaw.org - onetrust.com

These two domains are used solely for the essential services needed to run our privacy software. They're not used for marketing, sales, or advertising. Blocking them not only causes site functionality issues it keeps our users from being able to exercise their privacy rights.

I've attached two screenshots here showing the network calls and domains.

Can Mozilla please quickly review this bug and remove these two domains from the blocklist powering Privacy Enhanced Mode?

For highly encrypted messages and sensitive information each time renewed or discovered for the first time cam be very intimidating for certain people. Based on the facts and past experiences, this has become extremely important to discuss and share knowledge with true and trustworthy people only to ours and others peace of mind and safety.

When I last tried to buy with Google stored debit card from my bank the transaction was blocked by the presence of a four-month old phone number. I have updated several weeks ago to my current telephone number and address. Yet the new number is not there, instead the old number is not helping me.

I have an answer to a sent email to my firefox "relay" address and cannot find a way to retrieve it from that "relay" email. How do I access that generated email site?
