After a forced shut down, my home page is suddenly blank. All my tabs are missing. All my most used links are missing. All the reading suggestions and pocket is missing.

Is there anyway to restore these items?

On a laptop running Windows 11, all videos I play in Firefox have been strangely dark and orange. Depending on their original appearance, this can make them unwatchable.

This only affects videos in Firefox, and only on this laptop. Chrome, Windows video player (and Firefox on my other devices) do not share this issue. The issue affects all monitors I connect the laptop to.

I have attempted: -A thorough search of Firefox settings and found nothing related. -Refresh and reinstall of Firefox -in about:config

   gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true
   Confirmed ui.videoDynamicRange was set to to 0

None of these has helped. According to all the evidence I can find online, a similar issue was caused by a problem with HDR video files and fixed in an update 2 years ago, but I am running version 127.0 and am up to date.

since the last update, the shortcut keys to highlight a word at a time left OR right are both highlighting the next word AND also jumping to the last tab. AGAIN! I noticed this was identified as a problem back around 2019 in a search. I now cannot move fluidly within text, nor highlight a word at a time quickly. Either it's whole line or simply a letter at a time... which results in a pretty incompetent, crippling experience. PLEASE FIX!!

I am a long-time Firefox for Mac user and recently, browser APP all of a sudden is ignoring selected PRINT preferences. Two examples are: Printing one-sided when two-sided is selected, and printing in color when the default and selected preference is for a "Black and White Fast Draft". I use a MacMini M1 running Sonoma v14.5 and Firefox v 127.0 (64 bit). My printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 with up-to-date firmware. I have resorted to use of Chrome until I resolve this situation, though I prefer to use Firefox. In addition, while it may be a separate issue, I also found that the use of Firefox when using GMAIL developed a new issue at approximately the same time. Now, when clicking on the selection box for an individual email, Firefox often does not allow the box to be checked, but again with Chrome, it works just fine. Any help would be appreciated. I cannot open the uwyo.edu website on my Firefox browser. I have no problems with other browsers. I tried and checked the solutions people shared, but none of them worked for me. I checked the DNS and different networks, and I also checked the link below:

This is not a bug or issue, rather a use case question. I have a webpage with information and I don't want to accidentally click or submit anything on the page.

This could also be considering having a form etc in draft form as view-only so you go into "View Only Mode" and work the webpage as a reference etc. without having to worry about any accidental submission or mistakes.

If someone knows of Add-ons or how we can achieve it with FF, it would be much appreciated. Posting, since I expect to have this case often.

I have always used facebook messenger to video chat with friends, however suddenly it says tis facility is not supported by this browser. Do I have to leave firefox to find a browser that works?

I see that other people have raised this point,but there does not seem to be a response from firefox.

After 10:00 p.m. I cannot get into or use the inter net. I do have an account with you and I thought I could use it at any time to get in to the inter net with security.This started happening about two weeks. How can this problem by solved.

Up until a month ago, I was able to download gifs from the giphy.com as actual GIFs. What has changed in Firefox and how can I troubleshoot this so I can get the desired file format of GIF?

after downloading and installing v.126 of firefox, my history has disappeared. the browser is not generating new history from web site visits. the history is fixed permanently on a single web address. this is the web address of a site that is in my toolbar. this site cannot be deleted from the history. this site cannot be deleted through the preferences menu. the same site shows in the history file as the only site visited in the past several months, even though i have not visited that site in the past several months. the browser does not show my browsing history. the browser does not create a browsing history. my history function is permanently broken.

when I sign into Goog/setting/2 step, the page does not show "app passwords." I've turned off my ad-blocker extensions and pop-up blocker on the page. See attached.

When i scroll up and down on a page, it instead provides the back-page instead of scrolling up and down on the website. this is for all websites. the scroll function works oroperly in system settings, it is only with firefox. autoscrolling is enabled in settings.

I'm on OSX Catalina 10.15.7 and all of a sudden I am unable to get any sound from my FireFox browser. I tried to play audio/video from 3 different websites - Youtube, 123greeting.com and Gettr and while the video played, there was no audio coming out on any of the sites. I have no problems watching and hearing videos on my other browsers - Brave and Vivildi so this issue is with Firefox on multiple websites. Please advise as to where to look for some switch to turn the sound back on my Firefox browser. Thanks

I have just upgraded the OS on Mac Mini with the M1 chip to Sonoma (14.5) I am running Firefox 126.0.

Now it seems that I have more than one problem since the upgrade. The browsing history in my sidebar is not current. It is running about a day behind.

I reported earlier that the type on my LinkedIn is only out 7 pt when my settings have the minimum size at 14 pt.

Somebody please help. I'm afraid to do a refresh because I don't know what it will do to my banking settings.
