Why are you NOT clearing browsing data. I click on clear browsing data. Temp Cached files goes to zero. When I open a new browser that data still remains. I insist that you clear data for real not just for show!

Hi, After the latest update, I experienced unusual Firefox behavior. When I turn off PC Firefox signs me out from all sites and when I open them it also requires me to accept cookies again (on any site, even when I visited it in the previous session). I thought that the update accidentally turned on the option to delete cookies after closing Firefox, but I still have this option unchecked in settings. I can also still se all my previous cookies in settings. Passwords are also still saved in Firefox password manager. The PC is new (3 months) so I don't expect it to have memory problems.

Should I go back to the older version of Firefox? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

System: Windows 11 Pro 25H2, Firefox 146.0 (20251205151434), I don't use any Add-ons

Unlike before, many sites that I visit regularly, I am now having to log in every time I visit, including support.mozilla.org.

Did I unknowingly change something, some setting? or perhaps it's due to an addon?

since this morning, it seems firefox asks me to keep signing everywhere --google accounts, youtube, netflix etc. i go through 2step signin, i click on remember this choice but when i close firefox and reopen it i have to do everything again

Upgrading my router for faster speed has turned into a two-day nightmare. I finally got two Yahoo e-mail accounts back, but still can't get into my gmail ones because gmail wants me to allow cookies. How do I do that in Firefox?

Hi, I've been trying to access academic articles through my university library online database. My browser often directs the shibboleth authentication to the sign-in page of my previous university, not to my current ones. An example is provided below: the first link gets automatically changed to the send one. How can I stop the browser from doing this, so that I can log in through my current university account? I can't figure out why gmail will not allow me to log in. It tells me that cookies are turned off but I can't even figure out what that means or how to correct it

When I click on Privacy & Settings and then Cookies and Site Data and select Clear Browsing Data and the select everything. It does not seem to clear the cache when I select Clear

This is what shows up: Your stored cookies, history, site data, and cache are currently using 108 MB of disk space.

I had expected it to be close to zero.

What's the scoop?

I am informed here that my cookies are not enabled and that they should be , buy following EVERY link I can find from "settings" to "privacy and security" there is nothing that says "enable cookies" ,also as usual the last link given never allows me to find an answer? Where is this answer is all I am asking for, nothing too difficult is it?
