Lately, Bookmarks has been deselecting itself in Sync on all three of my computers. This has happened twice in the past few days. No problem with other Sync items.

Factory reset android phone, trying to sync with my account. Tells me my password is wrong, but it's the SAME as what's stored in the cookie! If I try to change it, it tells me whatever I've entered as a new password is wrong? Can't win!

Due to a Windows 11 system restore, I had to reinstall Firefox. After signing in I found that all bookmarks, extensions and passwords have gone and the original 2020 profile they were attached to seems to be missing as well. I initially installed the Firefox app from the windows store and thought that might have been the problem, so uninstalled it and reinstalled from the mozilla website. That didn't heelp so I went through all the help articles I could find and I still can't figure out how to restore anything.

My computer died today due to water damage, which means I can't turn it back on again. I got a new computer, I've looked all over the Firefox support websites, and can't find a solution as to how to get all of my Firefox data onto this new computer. I tried the profile page, but it looks like a profile for my old computer's Firefox never even existed. I have no idea where to find any of my old data.

I have an email account blocked (jgcaller129@gmail.com) and have tried the sync tab at the top corner of my computer. It sends a message with a number to this blocked email to unblock it- how am I supposed to get an email from you on a blocked account. How do I unblock this account. I have tried several times with the same result now the icon to sync isn't there anymore. PLEASE HELP This email is very important to me. You can send a reply to an alternate email account (also linked to Firefox -jgcaller15@gmail.com).

So i was using firefox in Linux recently and now because of linux issues, i switch back to windows. I logged in with same id but sync is not working. I had a long history of passwords, extensions and bookmarks. Also opened tabs and all but the account sync is not working. I even verified if this is the same account i logged in with in linux as i have 2FA and in the app it says this is the email i used for it. Please help me ASAP

I originally setup my account under a business email address that I do not operate or have access to that email. When I log in it wants to send a code to the registered email but I don’t have anyway to get that code. How do I bypass this? I’m trying to sync everything to my iPad from my desktop.

So I reformatted my computer today, but the process allowed me to keep all my personal files. I had made a backup in my appdata for all my passwords and bookmarks like Firefox allows when you're in Manage Passwords or Manage Bookmarks. After the formatting, I sign into my Firefox account, and it Syncs almost immediately. When I go into my appdata, the profile has been overwritten by the new sync, meaning all my passwords and bookmarks are now no longer available. Is there legitimately anything I can do??

My NEW M2, Windows 10 drive failed catastrophically. Am having to rebuild my system pretty much from scratch. I have the old failed, Windows 7 SATA drive. It will not boot, but the data is mostly intact and accessable. I want to sync my new Firefox install from the old, but I need help.

Firefox has always maintained that current tabs will be restored after a reboot of the browser, and indeed that was the case for the first half-dozen years I've been a subscriber. That has not been the case for the past 4 - 6 months however. I have the correct Settings for this, so it is not on my end. Why do I always get a fresh Firefox browser whenever I update the version (which is quite regular lately . . . maybe a new version of Firefox every 3 weeks). Please help.

On Wednesday, 12/6, I got a new work computer. FYI--both old and new computers are Dell laptops using Windows.

So on Tuesday 12/5, I had synched everything--Bookmarks, History, Open tabs, everything. I checked to make sure everything had synched because I knew I didn't want to lose my info.

After I had done that, I also signed out and deleted the history from that old device because it said that wouldn't affect the synched information.

On the new device, I haven't been able to access everything from that sync. I can see that most of my Bookmarks are there but the Open Tabs are nowhere to be found.

In "Connected Service", I see my old device listed but it says the last sync from that device was 4 months ago (that is definitely not the case).

When I look under "re-open all tabs" in Settings it only shows what I've opened on this new device (mostly Help topics trying to figure this out!)

Is there anyway to get back to the most recent sync? Especially but not only the Open Tabs?

Rond 26 november heb ik mijn firefox browser verwijdert niet wetende dat hierdoor mijn bestanden die via firefox waren opgeslagen op mijn google drive niet meer toegankelijk zijn .

Ik heb een nieuwe firefox account moeten maken echter die kan de verdwenen bestanden ook niet terugvinden.

Wellicht dat mijn oude firefox account van voor 26 november wel de weg weet naar de verloren bestanden.

Kunt er voor zorgen dat mijn oude firefox account van voor 26 november herstelt word?

HI Team,

I have alot of logins saved from my previous laptop and it was syncing with firefox account. My previous laptop got dead. Now i am trying to login to new laptop but passwords and bookmark is not recovered?

Can you please suggest me how can i get my data back?

I am a long-time user of Firefox and recently had to re-install the browser on my Laptop. I have the latest version of Firefox on both my Desktop and Laptop and have tried to sync my Desktop Settings (tabs, bookmarks, etc ) to my Laptop such that when I open Firefox on the Laptop it mirrors what I see on my Desktop, but to no avail.

I just formated my drive and when I tried to sync my account nothing showed back. None of my bookmarks, history or saved logins seem to have been synced but it synced just fine when I tried to do this last time which was on December 3rd. Is there a way yo recreate that synced backup?

I have always been struggling with the idea of syncing two devices, that is main and secondary devices, and that when logged out of the secondary device, user details such as passwords, booksmarks and other important things are left bare on that browser or secondary device.

It is my believe that, after completing whatever task that led users to sync both devices, the moment the user logs out on the secondary computer, or any of the computers, the passwords, bookmarks, history and other essential details should not display again on such computer or browser anymore but apparently thats not the case with Mozilla Firefox browser.

Kindly look into that and work on it....THE SECURITY AND SAFETY OF THE USER IS LEFT WIDE OPEN!!!
