I have several g-mail accounts that I used to open on Firefox - until yesterday. Now I'm getting a silly message below:

I'm working on ASUS, on Windows 86bit. If I reboot my PC g-mail works again for a couple of hours. I have no problem accessing my g-mail accounts from Chrome.

I have been having consistent issues with Youtube when played on Firefox. Opening the "Stats for Nerds", I see that I have decent connection speed. However, I get a burst of network activity, and then it stops. Therefore, i can't watch the video. Refreshing Youtube does not help at all.

Trying on other browsers, I do not have issue. While I sometimes get low network activity, most often than not, I can play Youtube videos fine.

I have done the following:

• Confirmed that I'm running the latest Firefox version (127.0.0)
• Cleared Firefox cache
• Confirmed having issue (sometimes worse as I get no network activity even on refresh) on Firefox Troubleshoot mode

I've been experiencing a problem in Firefox where, when I scroll, the incoming part of the page momentarily goes blank and then loads to normal. This issue becomes more pronounced on pages with a lot of elements. Also, this issue becomes more vivid in smaller screens compared to larger ones. It feels like the browser is taking time to paint the part of the page.

This issue only occurs in Firefox. I have tried this in Chrome and Safari.

Here's what I have already tried:

• Disabled hardware acceleration and WebGL.
• Disabled smooth scroll and auto-scroll.
• Opened Firefox in safe mode (troubleshoot mode).
• Confirmed that I have no extensions or add-ons installed.
• Reset Firefox.

Despite these attempts, the issue persists. This problem is affecting the usability of the website. How can I resolve this scrolling issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, this is going to be an incredibly weird question, but is anyone else having this issue? As of about two days ago, any time I try and load a video on youtube it will refuse to load for upwards of 30 seconds, however if I toggle the new stable volume option off/on it instantly loads. It will then play for about 2-3 minutes or more depending on video length (sometimes way more) before the buffer bar will stop entirely, take over two minutes to load the video again, then keep playing. More often than not doing this multiple times per singular video. Often times it won't even load anymore at all and I am forced to refresh the page and toggle the stable volume once again.

I've tried disabling every single extension I have, including ad blockers, restarting the entire browser, and using a different account, and it still happens no matter what. However it is not an issue that occurs on chrome or edge, so I'm at a complete loss of what is causing this. Looking up this issue comes up with next to no results, so is it possible this is a youtube issue or is something seriously wrong with my browser and I need to re-install it?

I've been using Firefox since the very beginning, and try to contribute to support it and Thunderbird when I can. But today, in order to get messages from my health care provider at Kaiser Permanente -- kp.org -- and get a document I needed for physical therapy, I had to sign in via Microsoft Edge in order to log in to my member account. On my Windows 11 Pro computer, I kept getting the message shown in the attached screenshot = "this page isn't redirecting properly".

I WAS able to sign in to kp.org from my mobile phone, but couldn't download the document from there. But at least I was able to send an message to my doctor asking them to send me the document via snail-mail.

At first I thought the problem was the Kaiser web site (which admittedly is pretty gawdawful). Didn't have time to pursue it last week, because I was attending an all-day class Mon-Fri. Finally today, when I got the same Firefox error message, I tried to access kp.org via Microsoft Edge. Sure enough, it worked.

Then I searched Mozilla support, and found a closed message thread indicating that the problem had theoretically been "solved" by some sort of programming fix as of June 12th or thereabouts.

I do NOT want to switch to a browser maintained by Monopolists'R'Us. I still bear a grudge because about 30 years ago they killed or marginalized two of my favorite programs (Lotus and WordPerfect) by giving away Excel and Word for free with Windows. Even if I LIKED Microsoft, the default user interface is cluttered with too many cutesy-poo widgets and AS (artificial stupidity) "help" that I do not want. But I'm an old lady (84), and if I need to communicate with my health care providers, I will have to use whatever method works, no matter how much it galls me.

Hope you guys can find a fix to this problem that works for EVERYBODY (including me). Thanks for your attention.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?

Did FireFox just officially do an Enhancer for YouTube...I got this on my Firefox screen. List 'what's new' and asks for donation...don't mind donating but is this a scam message or is it from FireFox?

I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. I really appreciate everything you do, but I am a boomer (Loud and Proud), I did not get born with a device attached to my hand, I am a digital imbecile.

With all that in mind, it has become too difficult to keep up with the digitalisation, at least in my case. So when you send me suggestions and update procedures I end up just closing everything, too much to read, too stressing, but the suggestions keep coming every time I open the firefox browser. Can I not just keep the version I have and decline any new versions.

I also have a problem in regard to language, it is set to English, but I do not care for US English, I would like to have GB English, but somehow it won't accept that.

What can I do?

I enter my username & password and nothing happens. This occurs when I use Dashlane AND also if I enter username & password manually.

I can access my account successfully using Edge.

It worked well yesterday and then it updated to 127.0.1 and now i can not open it. I get XUL Runner not compatible. It is on a windows 10 computer.

All my information bookmarks and passwords, but I have no way to get to them, uninstalled and reinstalled, but the new one doesn't look like the old version, and none of my information is there. I have tried copying the profile folder from and pasting it in the folder. but still nothing. I have it set as default, but the new one wants to be default, so when I go to make it my default I have 2 Firefox to choose from along with chrome, and edge.

My other problem is I have been using Firefox for probably 20 plus years, so there is a lot of saved stuff, but not sure what my previous user name and log in was. I have downloaded and older version and of course i updated also. I have a Firefox that works now, but not the one with all of my information.

Sorry if this makes no sense, no really sure how to explain it differently.

Can some one please help me figure out how to get all my bookmarks and passwords back?

In seeking a way to reduce the CPU & RAM usage, I read that perhaps turning on the Hardware Acceleration might help. And to do that, you must first de-select the default setting which says FF will use the best settings for my computer. Well, when I opened that section, neither one was checked! So, should I first try the default setting, and if that doesn't help, then try HA? I'd always heard not to use HA, for some reason, but I'm ready for trying anything that might help use less resources, and open webpages more consistently.

Which is the best setting to use, or neither one?

Hi. About 2-3 weeks ago all of my websites that I use to started making me log in.

I seemed to have lost all of my saved passwords so I typed them all back in.

Now, most of them make me press the log on button and then my userid and password are primed in there so all I have to do is press enter.

I find this kind of frustrating. I don't recall changing any settings. Any ideas to change this?
