I disabled graphics acceleration and I have the same problem. I tried several distros, it's the same thing each time, Firefox crashes and it's impossible to surf. could someone help me? I'm on opensuse thunbelweed

On one PC, pdf files [Type of file : Firefox PDF Document (.pdf)] display with a PDF icon but on a second PC, pdf files [Type of file: PDF File (.pdf)] display with a Firefox icon.

What changes are needed to have pdf files display with a PDF icon on the second PC?

I have been trying to solve this issue all evening:

HOW does one insert a picture is the text of an email message. I can attach the picture to the email but when I try to drag it into the text, it tells me cannot do it now but to try layer. Its it a memory issue?

Windows 10 Firefox v133.03 20241209150345 64bit Dec 10, 2024.

The issue is I do not have "Pictures" highlighted under the "Insert" menu. However, I do have "Attach file" which I did above, but I cannot drag the picture into the text and scale it as in the past.

When I try to insert the picture into the text, the message "The following files couldn't be attached: Filename.jpg. Please try again later." appears at the very top of the display.

"Link", "Pictures", "Emoji", and "Table" are all not hi-lighted. Do not know why???

I'm on OS Windows 11 and the latest version of FF (133). I also use NordVPN; I can access the web via Edge and Chrome with VPN, but for the last month, it doesn't work with FF. What could be the problem?

I recently added an entry to my hosts file but Firefox seems to ignore it. I'm using v. 128.5.1esr, fully updated. I've tried a lot of the advice online and none of it seems to work. Here's what I've tried:

disabled "Enable DNS over HTTPS Cleared the DNS Cache changed "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy". tried troubleshooting mode set network.trr.exclude-etc-hosts to true changed browser.fixup.dns_first_for_single_words to true changed network.dns.offline-local to false restarted FF, rebooted computer

It doesn't work in Chrome either, which makes me wonder if it's a Windows 10 issue. Any suggestions?

I recently got a new machine and loaded it with Linux Mint 21.3 - Cinnamon, FF 142.0 and Bitwarden Version: 2025.8.2 along with the usual cadre of extensions that I use on every other machine I have.

When I first start Firefox, Bitwarden autofill suggestions does not work, autofill from the "Fill" button in Bitwarden does not work and returns an error. The only thing that works is to individually and manually copy the username, paste it, then copy the password and paste it.

If I log out of Reddit and then try to log back in, the autofill suggestions works and the "Fill" button also works.

This is only on Firefox and only on the fresh start of the app. This does not occur on Chrome and I have not tried (and don't want to try) it on Windows.

I could access it until about 1.5 years ago when I used it a lot. Now I cannot access it anymore but this is an official governmental site www.idaan.gob.pa so why cannot it accessed now? I cannot access if from any of my devices, including those with the most up to date windows and Apple versions.

What do I need to do? contacting the institution is out of question as the site works OK in that country, so it is a FireFox problem outside of the country. Please help. Thanks, Helena

I'd like to take a full-page screenshot of my content within my Canvas/Instructure online class, but it only captures what's visible. I've tried opening the frame in its own tab, but it doesn't help.

When I use my phone to capture the entire page, it can work, but it's so narrow! Plus I have to continuously tap the "Scroll Down" button for the capturing process to capture more and more.

Hi there I have the problem that my firefox can save any file or download on my other drives since they arent event show as an option. I did a little research and read that by default in linux for security reason was unable to, but asking in the official forum of my distro (cachyos), they can save thing in other drives with no problems.

So i wanted to know why i dont?, my firefox installation is native at installing the dristro and having all perimission but it cant see my drives except the one is installed to (and where my OS is).

The only thing different i actually do is the folder where my current user info is saved, i moved the files from my user but with the files i had from my old windows session to impor my saved sites, favorites, etc.

Can you help me to be able to save files or images on my other drives?, thank you for time.

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

I am encountering an issue with the Ultimate Addon Image Gallery when viewed in the Mozilla browser. I have a Linux PC where, when I right-click, I see shortcut letters in the context menu (the one that appears when you right-click). So, if I want to inspect an element, I right-click on it and press Q, and the inspector opens right away. This saves me time from navigating through the menu. However, on my other MacOS PC with Firefox, it doesn't do the same. I've searched for solutions but haven't found any.

I am unable to get access to my Gmail accounts. Every time I select a bookmark link to Google email I get server time out error pages. I have looked at Windows 10(64) Firewall settings and I do not find anything blocking Firefox from accessing the internet(Inbound or Outbound Rules) are set to allow. NordVPN is not set to block any program or connection. I have never seen anything block access to Google.com or any related pages within Google. HELP Please!
