captive portal detection has gone crazy - suddenly is popping up almost every time i go to a new site from my home pc on a secure att network ; it even pops up when i am already logged into a site & go to a new page; if this is a "feature" - tell me how to make it go away

This has been going on for a long time - I, and others, can't copy info from some web sites - - CAN do so with Edge.

Followed the instructions on google to fix but does not fix. And, yes, the box in my settings is checked.

Firefox has suddenly stopped being able to load any website. I am connected to the internet, Chrome and Safari do not have this problem.

I have tried the following:

• Restarted Firefox
• Updated Firefox
• Followed every instruction on the following site: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can
• Deleted and re-installed Firefox

The problem still persists. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I am on a Windows 10 Pro PC 64 Bit OS with 16GB of memory, running Bit Defender Total Security. I have used Firefox for many years and have never had a problem The browser is version 128.0.2 (64-bit). A few days ago in the application menu told me there was an update and said to install it because it couldn't check for updates. I downloaded and installed it three times now, but the problem still persists. My Bit Defender also keeps popping up messages telling me "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to aus5.mozilla.org. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one." I have had over 2000 of those messages in the past few days.

I have never had an issue like this before. Is there a glitch in the most recent update? What can I do to fix it outside of resetting my browser, which logs me out of my google accounts and causes me to not be able to get back into them.

Search bar is pink and every time I open firefox the first time of the day it comes up pink. Very irritating and makes me wonder if firefox is worth keeping. Thanks

PG&E is notifying its customers on its website that Firefox (among others) is "unsupported."

I have not noticed any problems viewing/interacting anywhere on their site and would like to know why they are making this warning. I suspect that Mozilla.org would have a similar concern.

Firefox is not sending any of the device details so unable to use Firefox with conditional access.

I work heavily in a site called Xactanalysis for work. This is a product by Xactware that is used for tracking, reporting and uploading estimates for insurance claims. They have released a reporting tool recently within Xactanalysis, and the issue is I cannot use with Firefox browser. This works with Chrome, however I would prefer to use Firefox.

I have entered the website address in the exceptions page, but still won't work. When asking Xactware for assistance they said manage the exceptions and it should work. This still doesn't seem to work, so I am curious if there is anything else I can do?

Hey, so I accidentally deleted a password on my pc in firefox, but on my phone its still "stored" but when I click on the password, it doesnt show it anymore.

is there a way to restore the password? without a backup or anything?

Since the past 2 days whenever I try to upload a document on any website my FireFox crashes and stops responding. Upon Further investigation it turns out this is only happening on the Downloads folder. I havent changed anything in my computer. No new software, No windows updates. It just randomly stopped working last night .
