Hello. I should use proxy to visit some websites. I do not want open Preferences each time. Also I need list to exclude website which should be without proxy anyway.

How to do this?

logged in my yahoo.com e-mail account today and it will not open: box opens and message is : Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to mail.yahoo.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. can anyone one help, thanks

this randomly happened to me he errors i get are Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at data:text/plain;base64,Cg==. (Reason: CORS request not http).

When I open the google maps website it functions normally for about 3-4 seconds, then firefox completely freezes not just that tab. Firefox is up to date and it happens with all addons disabled. maps seems to work fine when I access from other country domains (co.uk or .de) Also I have no problem with the site on other browsers. It does not generate a crash report.

One quality of life thing I really miss after switching from Chrome is the option to "Goto ip" when you highlight and right click on a local ip address.

I do a lot or networking and am going to local ip addresses all the time (ie 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.20.15). When I highlight an address in the local ranges in Chrome it gives the "Goto" option, but Firefox always offers "Search Google for"

I really miss this option and unfortunately all my searching has not yield a solution since search engines cant quite make sense of my requests.

Firefox 115.3.0 esr has a border between the tabbar and the urlbar, how to I remove it? I have tried border: none !important; in several locations in userChrome.css that I used for FF 102 esr and the border was removed.

In order to add photos to Shutterfly from google photos on Firefox, which is what Shutterfly likes, I have to enable 3rd party cookies.

I have been trying and googling and searching support for some time now. The google instructions do not come close to matching what is on the commuter. The "support" instructions are in technical computer language which I don't get.

So, please help me, but pretend you are explaining to your grandma (I may not be yours, but I am a grandma to 4 grandkids) and she's never used a computer before (I have, but I'm sick of wading through technical answers that don't match the computer and don't work).

Due to the proximity of 'Edit Bookmark...' and 'Delete Bookmark' in the bookmark context menu, I have accidentally deleted bookmarks on several occasions.

I know it's possible to undo deletion of a bookmark in the Library window, but I'd prefer to avoid accidentally deleting bookmarks in the first place. So I'm wondering if it's possible to remove 'Delete Bookmark' from the context menu, at least in the browser window. It doesn't matter whether or not it would remove the option from the context menu in the Library window. As long as I could still delete bookmarks with the Delete key in the Library window it would be an improvement. Alternately, if there's a way to have a confirmation dialog appear when deleting bookmarks that would also be acceptable.

I have 4 different AMD machines in a wired, Windows 7 Home network. One is a print server and has 2 Canon inkjet Printers. All machines can print to both printers from all applications except Firefox (Latest version). 1 client machine can print to both printers from Firefox, another can print to one printer and the last cannot print from Firefox at all.

I have varied the defaults and refreshed and re-installed Firefox but there is no change. The Saved Settings for printing have been cleared.

There a large number of "Modified print settings" on the machine that can print from Firefox to both printers. This setting is absent in the other machines.

Is there a way in which I can get all the 3 client machines to print from the web on both printers?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi, the squarepage extension was recently disabled due to security concerns. The settings indicate that it can still be used in private mode. I followed the linked instructions, but there is still no enable slider.

How can I enable this ?

I have tried every troubleshooting from the other answers available on the support website but whenever I am trying to login, it shows a black screen and I also unregistered Twitter from about:serviceworkers but still nothing, I also cannot upload the screenshot here it just says uploading and nothing else. Images are not uploading even from other devices.

Update: this issue was because of a filter from uBlock's list. Fixed now. I am not sure how to close my question.

Cannot get new norton password manager to work with new Firefox change " Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it" Firefox asks Norton PW manager to go to another webpage for a redirect and it just spins.

Please fix, I need to get in my Norton PW manager for passwords.

I want to always use a new window rather than a new tab. How do I tell Firefox not to use tabs? Also I want to know why open minimized windows listed on the task bar won't restore when I click on them?

I can log in to USPS but when Firefox sends a request to the USPS server, I get a BAD REQUEST return. See image.

I did not have this problem up until about a month ago.

Currently running the latest update of Firefox.

I am retired military and when I try and enter the site' it says that the site doesn't support firefox browser. It does support Microsoft edge,,which I hate. I did all the troubleshooting on the subject, to no avail. HELP

Whenever I try to visit https://www.doordash.com/ in Firefox I get a web page that states --

Hmmm! The page you're looking for must be here somewhere... error code: 404 ERR_004 Maybe you'd like to go back home

This does not occur on any other browser.

What is this nonsense?
