I use a Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS with Firefox 131.0 64 bit edition. When I start Firefox alt+tab working as designed. But after some time it is not. Firefox always became the first of the list of the running applications and a simple alt+tab do nothing because the second application of the list which is selected by a simple alt+tab became the application I actually used. Ta active application selected again. Do you have any idea why is it happening?

Firefox will not open after downloading your latest update. An error message comes on screen: The file directory is corrupted and unreadable. This is occurring on a windows11 pc. I can open other files thru the microsoft browser. I'd appreciate some help, thanks, Gary

I got 3 popups from Malwarebytes stating- Blocked Website, event details- riskware.

I had a problem therefore I had to reinstall Firefox. When I reinstalled I had to login again and I did that with my usual Mail Address that I used for Firefox since years! But something was off... No Bookmarks, no backups nothing! I pressed sync to get the data because it didnt fetch it automatically but nothing happened either. I logged out and somehow after googling I found a way to login with google! (The option wasnt available anymore in the browser options WTF?! ) logged in and saw my profile picture etc I noticed this was my real account right there! Logged in and landed (at leat so it seemed in that new account that I described before which wasnt my real account, I synced nothing happened, all is fcked!) I lost my account so it seems with bookmarks that I gathered for years! ALL LOST.. Iam mad, frustraded, sad... and there doesnt seem to be any backup on my harddrive at least and my firefox account has been overwritten... Should I´ve been swapped earlier to google Chrome?! I really liked Firefox over these years... Iam so sad right now

For the past few days I am unable to use Firefox to access Youtube. I keep getting the page with the monkey saying "something went wrong" and it doesn't allow me to go any furthur. I have cleared my cache and cookies... still have the same issue. Thanks in advance for help.

Every time I restart my Mac or install a new software update none of my settings stay the same—example dark theme, tap theme, custom photos on home page, or even extensions. Why is this and can it be fixed?

Recently, I have not been able to upload a video to YouTube. When I try to upload it, the upload is stuck on 0%. I tried another browser, and it worked fine. This has not been a problem until. I have uploaded many videos. The last time was about a month ago. So, maybe there is some problem with an update. Does anyone else have this problem or know the solution?

hi, my drive died 4days ago and i'm just now back online, i was sure that i had registered (signed on) with Firefox. Turns out i have NOT done that... MYBAD, fersure, i am hoping against all odds that you can help me recover all my old passwords which i have stored on the Fire Fox app that i was using, quite happily, with the old drive, i still have some, a handful of those addresses and passwords on file, but not near enough to get back to where i was online b4 the old drive kacked, i was hoping that if i gave you the addies and passwords, you could somehow find that Firefox i had downloaded? Why is there so many restart to update firefox I have gotten them so many times in a week and sometimes twice a day. But checking the update history it doesnt show up as so many updates.

Why is this happening?

My system specs is as follows

i5-12400 32gb DDR4 3200mhz 250GB SSD as main (wd blue NVME)

Whenever I play 8k 60fps video on youtube it lags and get massive frame drops with igpu sitting at 100% usage. With other browsers like chrome and edge it works 100% can play 60fps 8k video without any issue.

Firefox releases email addresses and our data to third parties!

I installed the Arc browser and Arc offered to load my bookmarks from mozilla. Out of curiosity, I let it, and it loaded my bookmarks and folders smoothly. Arc didn't navigate Firefox to the login page, so Firefox released my information without asking me.

What probably happened in the background was that the Arc browser told Firefox which email address it was requesting data from, and Firefox handed over the data to it "on notice". Firefox was not even convinced that the real owner of the email address asked the Arc browser to synchronize the folders.

Is it the famous Firefox reliability?
