We recently had an update on our printer drivers and somehow this has swapped settings from the previous system print dialogue to "Firefox - Print". The Firefox print dialogue does not have print preview and I need to be able to see a print preview. I've noticed that this was an issue in the past and people have solved it by going into about:config and setting print.tab_modal.enabled to false, but this hasn't worked for me. I am asking this question because if I can't find a solution I will have to switch to Chrome so I can see a print preview and I would rather not. If there is another way to force the system print dialogue instead of Firefox, please let me know.

Issue persists on Incognito Mode and it goes away if I use different browser.

Since 2 days issue like this happened and it is retroactive meaning all previous conversations are also blank, all replies of chatgpt are blank except replies with image generation, those are fine.

Before you recommend me to do something please keep in mind that Incognito itself does not help.

So, similar to this post but I haven't downgraded, only upgraded.

OS: Windows 11 (26100.8893) Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:153.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/153.0

I can load it up in the morning, load all my standard tabs, then not too long into it a tab will 'crash' and require a reload. The reload then says its a dramatic crash and the whole browser needs to restart. Soft or Hard (i.e. "Exit") restarts always then ask to create a new profile on startup. This means I lose so much configuration (settings, etc) that is not in the Account Sync, meaning huge amounts of time have been wasted setting Firefox back up again every day.

When I go to about:profiles I can see all the old and new profiles (recently cleaned up all the old ones).

I do use my FF Account across various versions of Firefox (run a linux OS that still has a 14x version - need to upgrade OS to get more recent, but its a significant upgrade that had previously failed so not high on my 'want to resolve' list) - all the Windows OS's have the latest FF.

Hi, your last update ( 153.0.3) broke my ability to stay signed into or go back to known web sites I have put in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data”. I do clear all the Cookies and Data when I close the browser but now it looks like Cookies and Data is deleted in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data” also. I would love to do a redo on this update and reload the old version. The browser also is showing my PC is Windows 10 and it has been on Windows 11 for 3 years now.

Since last week there is a cookie that I can not remove in the Manage cookies and website data panel. It is called about.ef2a7dd5-93bc-417f-a698-142... There is probably more but that is not shown in my view. How can I remove that?

I am running Firefox version 153.0.1 on a 64bit install of Windows 11.

A few days ago I had to factory reset my computer, including a clean Windows install. Since then, when attempting to access https://vodafone.cz/muj/prihlaseni, I get an Imperva Error 15 "Access Denied" error screen - screenshot attached here. Clicking the Imperva logo on the bottom of the error message leads to https://www.imperva.com/why-am-i-seeing-this-page/?src=23.

I was able to access the site in the past, most recently on July 8, 2026 - this would have been Firefox version 152.0.5.

This error persists in troubleshooting mode but not in private/anonymous (with or without extensions enabled), nor does it appear in Microsoft Edge or Firefox on Adroid.

Clearing cookies and cache did not help - in fact the error first showed up on a clean install of Firefox, when there weren't any cookies or cache stored yet. I've tried different DNS over HTTPS settings and listing the site as an exception in settings, but none of this made a difference. Enabling Firefox's built in VPN also made no difference, regardless of the selected location.

I found a recent post (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1588627) describing a similar issue on a different website and tried the suggestion listed there to try a fresh profile - this seemed to work, but within a couple of minutes of browsing the error message returned. I've even reinstalled Firefox entirely, but this too did not help for long.

Interestingly enough, the error message lists a proxy IP address (not blacked out on the screenshot) despite the fact that I am not using a proxy.

The website provider's tech support claims this is an issue on the user side, not theirs - they have not been able to replicate the issue.

Is there anything I'm missing that would explain why this is happening?

Running on Windows 11. There are many supposed "solutions" on the Web, but none of them work. I have tried with: about:config, css files, etc. None of them work.

I like Firefox greatly, but this is so frustrating.

The developers have created a solution to a problem that didn't exist. The result is to make Firefox user clumsy.

It would have been nice if they - at the very least - had provided a way to change the 'Profiles' icon position on the menu.

Again, Firefox 153.0.1 (64-bit) on up-to-date Windows 11. Amd Ryzen 5, 6 core processor, 32 GB Ram, 500 GB SSD C drive = 197 GB free.

images, text boxes dropdown menus and anything of the like reload the moment i scroll even slightly text boxes and dropdown menus dont reload text or option chosen just the image/ box no clue what could be causing it doesn't appear on mobile just PC. appears when searching with duck duck go and google also reloads when moving over images and a good chunk of the time only loads them partially/ flickering, not unusable just annoying thanks

Using the Mozilla VPN, I select a location in the USA. After a few hours, my public IP address / location will be different than what I selected in the VPN app; for example, I select "San Francisco, CA" in the VPN, and a few hours later my email sign-in location (or using mylocation.org) is somewhere in India - that's not even in the list of locations we can select for the VPN. Is my VPN being hacked? I'm using Windows 11 with the latest update and the built-in Windows Security. On my android phone, the VPN location shows as 'Starkville, TN', which is also not on the VPN location select list.

i can manually disable the notification requests in a single instance. However, how can i accomplish the same for my other 1000 users in one policy?

I tried different permission notification registry settings, but none seem to work. probably getting lost in the AI web that doesn't exactly know how to fix it.

I’m looking for something i can set in the registry,powershell or by gpo. It should work in all cases, new and existing firefox profiles.

Every time I select Gmail on Firefox page, it requires me to sign in with a code. I have selected 'Strict' for browser privacy and 'Clear history after closing Firefox'... plus a number of other settings. I then get a notice of someone signing into my account each time, as does the person who I use as a backup to my account. I'd like not to go through that each time I access my Gmail account.

For some reason I can not understand the search bar in my toolbar has become so small that it is borderline unusable. No amount of removing and replacing it, fiddling with empty spaces, etc. has any effect on it. Furthermore it appears completely normal sized when I'm editing the toolbar. Does anyone have any clue what causes this?

As of about last Thursday, I have been unable to access my Isomedia.com SpamTitan01 account. I usually have a trove of spam messages, which I look at and delete, except for the one or two that are real emails. For the last 5 days My Titan vault is empty, though it is trying to retrieve data. My address is [redacted] @pioneernet.net Could it be that a Firefox update is preventing me from access?
