I receive many unwanted/junk/spam emails a day (10 to 20) in my email inbox. How do I stop this influx of junk? right now I am blocking domains, is this the best I can do?

The five Firefox relay have not been used by me; can I create new ones. I don't use shopify or pinterest. It looks like they were set up in 2024. Can I receive 5 more to clean these out. Thanks.

I use Firefox for privacy, lack of bloat, and other ethical reasons. For these reasons, I don't want to have the new CEO keep the incorrect idea in his head that the people who use Firefox want AI. Please don't add more AI, if anything--- please remove the AI which has already been added to Firefox which users have to remove themselves. I will dump Firefox if the new CEO continues with this plan.

I noticed a wierd popup when opening mozilla. It said "you're always starting mozilla when starting the pc". How and why does an internet browser have to have any information regarding when I boot my PC? What else does mozilla look at outside the browser environment?

If they claim it's needed for performance: Illogical, boot times have nothing to do with the internet browser. If referring to general performance then you can't possibly track and tailor every new piece of hardware that enters the market. Instead you make your browser with prerequisites that you yourself control (eg. install vcredist for this browser to work or something like that).

Why then is Mozilla monitoring my computer when the browser isn't even open or running?

Hi. Cannot seem to figure out how to remove 3 Mozilla Firefox notifications appearing vertically up the right side of my windows 11 LG gram laptop. They are covering up part of the mozilla dropdown window when I click on the 3 little lines in the upper right hand corner. Sorry, not very good at explaining this. In order to access a software product I had paid for (specifically Komplete Standard 15 from Native Instruments) I was instructed by Native Instruments to open an account with Plugin Alliance. Whilst doing this I was invited to create a mask email. I thought this must be a message from Plugin Alliance. Having attempted to create this mask email, I can't get any further with my Plugin Alliance account. I would like to dispense with the mask email because it is more trouble than it's worth. How do I do this?

Heard this new guy thinks AI slop is the way to go: I dropped google and chrome because of this YEARS ago, even before the obscene direction 2025 has brought. AI has been nothing but a violation against my privacy and consent, theiving not just personal information but artistic merit and PROGRAMMING ITSELF??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???

monitoring bloatware is infesting my tech. I've spent hours fighting against it for my elderly mother because she doesn't know better. I'm installing Mint because Windows 11 is USELESS.

I will drop Mozilla faster than an unwashed boyfriend. I came here specifically to say this. DO NOT. GO TO AI UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

Why does Mozilla's new CEO feel the need to bloat and mine data in the browser I downloaded to escape that in other browsers? Can I not escape AI in one place? I come to Mozilla Firefox for one reason and one reason alone and y'all suddenly seem very keen on getting rid of this reason.

I beg of you, please do not go forward with the AI focused policies. AI as it currently stands is a rapidly sinking ship that a LOT of consumers hate, and that group is coincidentally the group that most frequently uses Firefox. By pushing forward AI-first policies, you are alienating your userbase, destroying the privacy and usability that makes Firefox special, and you're upsetting millions of people that love this service. Please, for the love of god, DON'T GO FORWARD WITH AI. Stick to what makes Firefox special, and it will flourish as every other browser becomes more and more unusable.

I am looking for confirmation that Mozilla is moving to an 'AI browser'.

Will there be an option to not use this data harvesting LLM garbage or will mozilla be abandoning their core values?

Firefox is already a product that works and is probably the best alternative to any of the other major browsers out there. It's a product that I've been happy to use for many, many years. So why is it being ruined by this needless push to add in "AI"? I don't want it. I don't want any part of it to touch my experience using this browser. I want either an easy way to completely turn it off so it can't suck up my data and expose my private information, or not have it be included at all. I will actively be looking for alternative browsers if these plans continue.

I use firefox as my browser of choice because it seems to be the only large browser not yet completely flooded with AI slop and bloatware. I'm incredibly disappointed that the new direction seems to be "becoming a modern AI browser". I don't care if I can opt-in or opt-out of AI tools for my personal browser experience - simply their presence presents a safety, efficiency, ethical and privacy concern.

The ONE THING that puts firefox above other browsers and why it is gaining more users recently is because it hasn't jumped into the AI-toilet along with Chrome etc. Yet. If Firefox moves forward with the implementation of more AI tools, regardless of individual opt-in options, I will have no choice but to stop using firefox. I am simply not interested in wading through excrement.

I am very disappointed to learn that Firefox is moving forward with AI integration. I use this browser specifically because there is no AI. AI tools are a drain on public resources such as clean water and electricity, and the data centers that host the AI servers are a burden in many ways on the communities where they're built.

Additionally, I am concerned that the AI will turn all of our browser history into an AI slop ad factory where our data is more easily collected and sent off to generate more ads.

If AI is integrated into FireFox, I will no longer use this browser, even if the AI can be "turned off".

Is there any way to keep AI out of FireFox?

I am incredibly concerned and disappointed over the announcement of the intention to turn Firefox into an AI browser. I use Firefox primarily for privacy concerns, and the already existing AI "features" that it has are pushing my boundaries already. The addition of more AI into this browser will slow it down, deplete natural resources, and ultimately push me away from it. I've been using Firefox happily for over 15 years now, don't ruin the good thing we have here.

AI is trash that doesn't do what it's being touted as capable of doing, and I'm sick of having it shoved in my face. Don't flush decades of good will down the toilet for no reason.

I've used Firefox for a long time because it's been one of the few browsers that doesn't force features that harm its users onto the userbase. It's been leagues beyond the majority for that long time! The introduction of AI features over time has been a bell ringing for the loss of that thoughtful approach to aiding the users. AI in browsers has been used by malicious third parties to steal the data of anyone who visits specific sites, it's prone to misinformation when used to summarize anything, and simply doesn't add any value to the browsing experience. It gets in the way and slows it down, even! If more AI features are added, I will be finding a different browser to use.
