I recently got a new machine and loaded it with Linux Mint 21.3 - Cinnamon, FF 142.0 and Bitwarden Version: 2025.8.2 along with the usual cadre of extensions that I use on every other machine I have.

When I first start Firefox, Bitwarden autofill suggestions does not work, autofill from the "Fill" button in Bitwarden does not work and returns an error. The only thing that works is to individually and manually copy the username, paste it, then copy the password and paste it.

If I log out of Reddit and then try to log back in, the autofill suggestions works and the "Fill" button also works.

This is only on Firefox and only on the fresh start of the app. This does not occur on Chrome and I have not tried (and don't want to try) it on Windows.

Please explain what happened. Firefox filled in a correct password when I went to establish an account with Greenpeace.org have no password listed in my Firefox passwords for Greenpeace.org.

Since updating to the new version, the website no longer shows the saved account information. How can I make it appear again every time I open the website and want to log in ? Other sites do not have this problem. Address: https://dinhvi.adsun.vn/ Please help me, thanks

Hello; I have two accounts with my credit union (serves as my bank too) one account is a business sign in and the other is my personal account. When I attempt to log in, auto fill always fills in my log in ID for the business account. I cannot look at my personal account, because I cannot change the log in ID. I do have both ID's in my passwords account(?) and both are correct as well as the passwords for those two different accounts to banking. The banks only suggestion is scrap Mozilla.

Can some one please help me? soon?

Unable to Log into website after using autofill of credentials. I am able to log in when I manually type in credentials, but not when it is auto-filled. Please help

Hi Folks, When I open a particular web site and click login Firefox shows/suggests use of my actual username. I'd like that to NOT happen (i.e. show nothing) for that (or a few) web sites. When I log into apps and other sites FF is displaying and recommending current and/or old login information. I do not want FF to make any login recommendations for me.

When trying to log onto a site Sometimes stored Firefox user name and password appear and sometimes the login process gets hijacked. Why and how do I stop it.

I suspect GOOGLE because a lot of stuff gets changed and not by me.

My bank website asks for pin and password codes but each character option displays the fancy Firefox symbol which I can;t delete. The passwords for the site have never been saved but I can't enter the correct password characters because I can't override the symbol. I'm having to access this bank account on Chrome unfortunately. Most frustrating because the website is not listed in "Saved passwords" so I can't edit it! Thanks Mike Bathgate

How do I remove this annoying box?

And before anyone ask that is not visual glitch, I just censor the text it save, because it is saving my recovery code for my Google account 💀

Its been an issue for me for quite a while. Seems to occur for some websites. But it's getting to a point where it feels like every website is encountering this issue.

Firefox does a good job storing password and usernames when creating said username and password. But it will never suggest a username...

A similar topic is, how can I make firefox autofill username for websites?

Every time the browser autofills a password it asks me for my Windows password. I don't want this behavior, as this makes password autofill completely pointless. How do I disable this "feature"?

I am logged in on my Firefox account and have lots of stored passwords. On the Settings page the checkmark next to "Suggest strong password" is checked and so it SHOULD suggest strong passwords. However, I'm just creating a new account on a website and Firefox isn't automatically suggesting a strong password, even when I start typing! How do I get Firefox to suggest a strong password?

On some websites, when logging in, my browser will suggest emails and passwords to log in. How do I turn this off? It's really annoying. It does it in private browsing windows as well. I've already deleted all passwords and disabled the password manager in Firefox, but it still happens for some reason.

I have an autofill issue with certain websites. When I go to that website, the search feature automatically fills in with my password. Obviously, I don't want my password publicly showing up on the site. I have deleted history, cookies, cache, etc...but for whatever reason when I go to this specific website my password will automatically be showing up in the search feature. How do I get rid of this?
