I really hate the new version of private window which separated from the main Firefox windows group. I'm using windows and I pinned a lot of application in my taskbar and I don't need new one. I already making habit to use private browsing for lot cases daily since years ago using same window group and this new taskbar entry ruin my productivity.

Is there a way to disable this behavior? stop wasting space on my taskbar.

How to get rid of square tab named "firefox view" to "sync with other devices"?? This appeared after a firefox update a few days ago and purports to sync firefox with my "other devices" Right now it shows "33% completed". I do not have any other devices .... just my computer. This extra tab takes up room on the page and I just want to get rid of it but there is no apparent way to close it. I view this as an unwelcome intrusion on my Firefox browser --- How do I get rid of it?

I hardly use tabs, and I have a widescreen notebook. So one of the most important features a browser must have is not to waste vertical space.

Unfortunately, Firefefox still has always tab bar open even if there is only one tab.

There was a css code to overcome this problem. Unfortunately, it does not work with FF 106 anymore (another one stopped working with 103). It always shows a "+" sign and uses vertical space.

1. ) How can I get rid of the tab bar? Is there a working css code or is it a feature now of FF? 2.) BTW, also one of the most important addons for me "I don't care about cookies" is not working anymore 3.) How can I fully stop updates? They are causing far too many problems 4.) I already know that css and addons are not officially supported by Mozilla.

Firefox version: v106.0.3 OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 build 22623.875

I have 5 different profiles with different number of tabs and add-ons installed. 3 out of 5 crashes, 2 works. The problematic profiles crash 5-6 times on launch, regardless whether Firefox was started in "normal" mode or safe mode. I submitted all crash reports I found at about:crashes. Here are the IDs:

I see various DLLs related to a program called ExplorerPatcher in the reports. I've been using it for months and I've had no crashes with pre 106.x.x versions.

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. For the last few weeks, Firefox freezes up occasionally. Sometimes, I have to Force Quit to get out of it as Quit Firefox won't close the program. Using Ventura 13.0 on a M1 MacBook Air. It was happening before Ventura as well. Fairly recent issue.

firefox has just automatically updated when using private browsing all dropdown menus appear as white text on a grey background this is harder to read i want black text on a white background

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a colour. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was.

I do not want the new color browser. I absolutely detest it. I want to go back to what it was, normal. How do I get this hideous green color off the top of the browser

Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. After downloading FF 106.0 A Firefox Icon appeared on the left side of my menu bar that won't go away and is taking up space that I need. It's guiding me thru a sign in page to syn my devices. I DON"T WANT TO SYNC my devices. I just want to get rid of that icon. When I try to sign in it tells me it will send me a 6 digit code and I have to enter it in 5 mins. I never received the code. I don't care if I ever get the code. Please tell me how to get rid of the icon w/o going thru the process of the "tutorial" Thank you!
