I have started to get a popup warning. First it was when I visited secure pages, but now it happens whenever I open a new tab! The warning is: "The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party". How can I turn this off? I'm using Firefox 45.0.1 on a Mac with Yosemite 10.10.5. Thanks in advance!

Firefox 45.0b3 doesnt show embedded youtube videos on websites. But it shows videos on Youtube website with no problem. It says 'Connection is not secure' for sites like Gizmodo and Slashfilm where embedded youtubes are not showing; But I can see Vimeo videos on those sites.

Embedded youtube videos are playing on Google Chrome and Safari.

Please give me some solution to fix this problem. Thanks in advance, Jay

My company would like to deploy Firefox ESR via SCCM and control settings via group policy. It seems the SCCM deployment is not an issue, however I keep reading conflicting or misinformation about group policy settings. Is it the case that Firefox does not read the group policy settings/registry settings to control the application and the only settings are internal to the application? Would anyone be able to point me to the most current up to date information on deploying Firefox with custom settings?

I'm using Windows Vista. I frequently save images to my disk, using the right mouse button. The command is- "Save Image As..." The "v" in "Save" is underscored. I know just enough to know that means there should be a keyboard shortcut using the "v"key. However, I have not been able to discover what the shortcut is. Cntr-v and Alt-v do not work (for me?). Does anyone know if there is a working shortcut? Thanks, I have arthritis in my fingers and this would be helpful.

I just updated Firefox and had to do a restart. When I did I lost all the previous tabs I had open. How do I restore them? I've Googled and cannot find sessionstore.js. It seems like this new version doesn't use this js file. Thanks in advance.

I have hundreds of bookmarks organized under the "Bookmarks Toolbar". Is there a way to find in which folder an specific bookmark was created? I can do a search on the "Show all Bookmarks" library but that will show the bookmark but it will not highlight the folder on the sidebar or give me any information or "path" on where to find it. I am using Firefox 45.9.0 ESR under Debian GNU/Linux 8.8 (Jessie) & Xfce.

I'm trying to come back to firefox from having used chrome for a long time and there is one feature i really miss from chrome; that it doesn't load a tab when it is created until i cllick on said tab. The option "do not load tab until opened" seems to only apply when firefox is restoring tabs from a previous session but NOT when i create a new tab in my current one. I like to (for instance when i watch youtube) open several interesting videos as separate new tabs and then watch them whenever i please, currently firefox immediatly loads all those videos in their tabs as soon as they are created, how do i stop this?

QUESTION : Suddenly last night and today, I am unable to completely clear the Firefox browser cache. Can someone please tell what is going on? Thank you!

As with the automatic installation of cmd, disable automatic updates for all users? Or cancel the upgrade after you install for all users. The main thing that all would be applied for all accounts on the computer.

I have an HP Pavillon, Juno email and Firefox is my default browser, At some point while accessing my email I will get the "unresponsive script" error and although it gives my options to continue, debug or close, none of it works and computer freezes. So I have to go to Task Manager and close everything down and start over. Very frustrating. It has also happened when I have been on other websites or with Internet Explorer. HP has tried fixing it, Juno has tried ....all to no avail. I've tried refresh, done many virus/malware scans, etc. It seems to me there is a plug-in or an add-in or some box somewhere not checked. Any ideas?

Hell, suddenly all my logins and the passwords of the profiles have disappeared. As I don't remember them all, is there a way to retreive them again? Any back up of Firefox that I can use?

I read somewhere that the recent update from Firefox 45.0 to 45.0.1 was, in part, to fix an issue where some videos do not load in Firefox if third party cookies were blocked.

In my case, all videos loaded fine UNTIL I installed the update that Firefox said it needed, which was to update Firefox 45.0 to 45.0.1. After the update, some video files will not load at all. The video page and player will load, and the loading animation will start, but the video never loads. On sites that have an indicator as to what percentage of the file is loaded, it will go up to 99%, but will never finish loading, if it is really loading at all.

All my plugins related to video files are up to date. I am running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit operating system, have plenty of RAM. I began having the problem when I updated Firefox from v. 45.0 (32-bit version) to v. 45.0.1. Before the update, everything was working fine.

I tried playing the same videos in Internet Explorer 11, and they load and play just fine. Therefore, it is a Firefox issue, and a Firefox 45.0.1 issue specifically.

Am I just stuck with this albatross, or is there somewhere I can download Firefox 45.0 and go back to that version of Firefox?

Recently The Mozilla Firefox ESR browser was upgraded to Version 52.0 and I faced "few critical issues after updating".

"Few existing functionality is not working which was working perfectly before the update."

Error : JavaScript/jquery Error was thrown in Mozilla Firefox ESR browser Version 52.0 browser console alike “contains is not a function”.

But that "contain function" is working in previous Firefox ESR version.

So when I uninstalled the Mozilla Firefox ESR browser Version 52.0 and installed the Firefox ESR browser version 45.6.0. Here all my functionalities are working perfectly in Mozilla Firefox ESR browser Version 45.6.0.

Note: I am using jquery-1.7.2

I am not sure "Higher Version" than 52.0 of Mozilla Firefox ESR has also owned this same problem.

and also I am not sure, whether the "contains" is the only function which is not working but not aware of other functions.

Please let me know, 1. why am I facing this problem in the Mozilla Firefox ESR version 52.0? 2. what should I do to avoid this issue? 3. if possible, from which version to which version having this problem?

I have a sign-up form on my site. The checkboxes and radio buttons don't show up in Firefox. They do show and function in all of the other browsers I've tested. I tried unchecking the Do not Track option but that didn't change anything. The plugin developer says it's the CSS of the Wordpress theme I'm using. The theme developers don't seem to have an aswer. Doe anyone have an idea of how to get the buttons to show? Here's the site:

Firefox is now blocking paypal. I'm unable to get to the paypal login screen because of the error: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

It does the same thing with AMC Theaters when I try to checkout. Is there somewhere in firefox where I can fix this? I have to use a different browser to login to these sites.

I am a seasoned .NET developer (C# web applications) that has used Firefox for years. I'm one of those guys that has a Firefox t-shirt and wear it proudly. It's the best browser there is IMO.

Recently, F5 stopped working. It no longer refreshed websites. More importantly, CTRL-F5 does not work. I re-installed FF and got it working but it recently stopped working, again. I use CTRL-F5 all the time to see style changes on websites and I really need this to work. I've scoured online threads, including 831402 that is archived. I cannot find the cause or solution.

Does any mozilla support person, or other FF user, know the cause and can provide a solution? I really appreciate it.

While browsing Kijiji, I get the above message whenever I try to do almost anything except scroll. Even if I use the space bar, up it pops in its own little window entitled: Blank which is my default home page. Kijiji suggested I switch to Chrome... not going to happen.

I do not want any software installed without my expressed permission but I do want this message to go away, or at least allow me to say "Thanks! Good job! Now, go away till next a new occurrence."

Is there some setting I should change?

I've checked several other help threads, and did some extensive Google searching to no avail.

I've recently updated a server for PCI standards, completely removing TLS 1.1 and below. Since this was completed, the websites hosted on the server that have the HTTPS prefix are giving me the "Secure Connection Failed" error message without a front-end bypass. Other websites without a SSL certificate work fine.

The websites with a SSL certificate are SHA256, valid, etc. All of it worked until I disabled the lesser protocols. Now only Firefox has an issue with accessing these websites; i.e: IE 11 and Chrome 50.0.2661.94.

I've already done the about:config and set the min/max to '3'. Restarted Firefox, cleared cache and cookies, safe mode to no avail.

I'm not running anti-virus, just Windows Defender (which doesn't matter if it's on or off).

How can I stop Firefox from asking me whether to share my location every time I visit a new page, after I've repeatedly answered Never Share My Location? I did the whole ABOUT:CONFIG thing and clicked on false for geo-location. After that, I tried to check the weather on the Weather Channel Website and the website won't show me anything except a partially loaded website. No weather! I went back to ABOUT:CONFIG and changed geo-location back to true and the Weather Channel website loaded correctly, but asked me whether I wanted to share my location, yet again! This is so frustrating!! Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
