Hi, I watch specific streaming live show on YouTube every week. Unfortunately, I always have to play it in non-Firefox browser, because the video freezes every couple minutes, while audio track is still playing in the background. Based on the comments from the stream chat, other people have this issue too. Why? How to fix it? It is annoying. Internet connection is ok. Other browsers no issue. I have a problem with firefox notifications for twitter. They appear in a separate window and when I click somewhere, they disappear as if they were in the foreground and hiding. The second thing is clogging and then I get a massive series of delayed notifications. help

I lost my user id for this account from last week, I am trying find the user account, but i couldn't find. It is like almost (mohamed.ansar@mybonyan.com) but its saying this is a wrong user id for https://app.zipbooks.com/login It is already in my bookmarks a long ago. suddenly got sin gout. Now i could not login and saying this is wrong user id, Please help me find the user account name and password, i already login saved in mozila. it is really appreciate if you can help me.

This has been going on for a week or two. I'm running Windows 11 and Firefox 123.0.1. Specific links inside a health plan web site will not download but using Chrome or Edge they do download successfully. I'm also using Bitdefender. Other links inside the site do allow pdf downloads on Fireffox. I've reviewed the information available through this discussion site but cannot find something that applies. I allow tried backing up to version 122 but that did not help and the Create a New Profile requirement was a big deterrent. When attempting the download, I do get a swirly download icon specific to the web site that lasts about a second and then vanishes with the download folder for Firefox showing no download. Thanks for anyone's ideas on this.

hi I am curious if there is a way to disable (remove) time bar (video progress bar) from appearing in picture in picture mode in Firefox Browser 123.0 (64-bit) version. Namely, I prefer to watch videos of sport events and knowing exact time of video duration could be a big spoiler. A version of picture in picture more without time bar existed in previous Firefox Browser versions 102.0.1

It's so bad that I might have to stop using it entirely.

I've tried creating new profiles, disabling all add-ons, and disabling Enhanced Tracking Protection; none helped.

As you can see in the video (about the 00:16 mark) it randomly stops properly loading pages from the website, even in new tabs. The only temporary remedy is to either close and re-open FF, or press Ctrl+F5 (which I did at the end of the video).

I must add that it can happen even when loading the website for the first time in the session.

I had to reinstall windows 10, and then Firefox on my computer, after logging into Firefox on this fresh install (had to reset password), my saved passwords and bookmarks are not there. They still exist on my phone, and my phone is now asking for the new password to start syncing again. If I log in on my phone, will it sync the passwords there to my computer? I am worried syncing will cause the ones on my phone to disappear. Is there any way to export my passwords/bookmarks on the phone(android) to file? As a backup just in case. I logged in on an old computer thinking it would sync, even if it was out of date, but now it also shows 0 passwords saved.

Over the past day or two, I've seen firefox incorrectly render fonts on a couple of websites. So far, I've only noticed two websites effected: quotientapp.com and xero.com (not the actual landing page, but rather the login page and other pages available after login https://login.xero.com/identity/user/login). This problem may extend deeper but these are the only places I've found them.

At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but nope, something definitely not right. No new addons have been installed on my system. I've also deleted all local storage / cookies (via the Inspector) for these sites thinking it must be some caching issue - but no, it's still doing it.

Inspecting the font-family shows the issue (this is from the page https://go.quotientapp.com/sign-in) - have attached the images below of what I see.

I do use uBlock, but it is disengaged on Quotient and Xero (these are work related sites, they show no ads). Other add-ons I have installed include Bitwarden, Dark Reader, Firefox Multi-Account Containers and Reddit enhancement suite. I've ensured all add-ons are up to date as of this posting.

FWIW I do allow all the extensions above (with the exception of Firefox Containers which I don't allow) in private mode.

Any insights on how to get to the bottom of this?

Title is self explanatory. When I try to take and save a screenshot in my browser, either when right clicking and selecting Take Screenshot or using CTRL + SHIFT + S it always cuts off some of the image I'm trying to take. Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

Had to click the text field 3 times just to write title to this post because I made a post on Twitter that's getting a bunch of interaction. Notifications take the cursor focus away from the text input field whether that's on a site or the search bar or the address bar. Very annoying. Windows 10, latest version of Firefox, but it also happened with the previous version. Please help!

I want to disable media controls overlay without disabling media keys. I wandered in config but couldn't prevail with said subject. Its a nice feature unless I have to stop a quite few times then its just a blockage for my much needed viewspace.

I'm trying to remove the bar at the top of firefox browser with tabs in them. I read another article (https://support.mozilla.org/es/questions/1417387#answer-1588947) under spain link, i think, and the solution said to write "TabsToolbar-customization-target { visibility: collapse !important; }" somewhere. Where do I go to write that?

I tried the console by pressing f12, but that doesn't seem like that's it. In that article it also mentions to go to about:config and change the status of "browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar" to false, or delete it, but didn't work either.

When I type "cl" in the address bar, "https://cloud.google.com/" is immediately auto-completed. It's listed above Firefox Suggest (see attached screenshot), and I've got everything but Bookmarks and Open Tabs disabled. I've also deleted all references to "cloud.google.com" from my history.

Where might this suggestion be coming from?

Back in November 2023 I had the misfortune of a software engineer not doing his job correctly and he reinstalled the OS on my laptop instead of repairing some software that wasn't functioning correctly. Mercifully, I have had Microsoft support working on recovering my data, which has proved a tremendous task. 4 months and counting.

We have now finally managed to recover my passwords for my browsers, but they are encrypted. Microsoft Support have therefore asked if Mozilla do a decryption tool as they cannot open the file without it being decrypted first. If I was using Microsoft Edge, they would have been able to assist as that is a Microsoft product, but as Firefox is a third party application, they've asked for assistance. By the way, these are NOT scammers or hackers 'helping' me, but Microsoft support and I get everything emailed about our support etc.

i cannot get access to my saves in pocket anymore it is asking me for a password to log in i have never needed one before and no matter what i try to do even resetting a new password i still cant get anywhere

Hi there - Every website seems to come up in English, ie Firefox seems to be translating other languages automatically. (My version is Firefox for Mac 123.01 64-bit.) I am wondering how I can prevent automatic translation of websites. I have had a look in preferences etc, but I do not see anything there to prevent automatic translation. Any help gratefully received! Many thanks :-)

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. Firefox has stopped printing webpages. I have done all the processes suggested on help and user pages. To be clear: - Same webpages print on my computer via Edge -All other programs print fine to any of my 3 printers on my home network and my printer at work. -There are no Error messages, I get the print preview, and I can alter any of the parameters there, I click Print and it closes the window, as it used to but it just never turns up at the printer. -I have tried the application menu, the Menu Bar (Filr, Print) and Ctrl P: All exactly the same. -I have removed and reinstalled ALL of my printers. My wife's computer has the exact same version of Firefox and has no problems whatsoever. Any thoughts, please?
