I am using Firefox 146.0 (64 bit), canonical-002 - 1.0 on Kubuntu 24.04.

The browser will not store credit card information. If I enter correct information into a Web site, Firefox correctly queries whether I want to save this information. Clicking "Save" closes the dialog but when I look at "Manage payment methods" in Settings nothing is saved. Attempts to enter the information at this point fail as well. Note that the check box "Save and autofill payment info" is set.

I need to remove my CC info from my profile, it takes me to the Privacy & Security tab and it tells me to look for the autofill option and on the current fire fox version i have 146.0.1 I do not see it

The documentation for credit card autofill states that, as a precaution CVV numbers will not be retained. Which seems to be a reasonable precaution. However I find when using autofill, that after I have entered my system password, and autofill has displayed the card number and expiration date, that a mouse click in the CVV box will cause the CVV number to be displayed in a mouseable choice box.

Is this a bug? Or an "undocumented feature"? Or simply a matter of obsolete documentation?

I also note that, when recently logging into my local library account, which uses 14-digit account identifiers, that credit card autofill asked if I wanted to save that "payment information".

I have autofill turned on, and it works (almost). The address fields are completed, but left in yellow highlight, and when I try to submit the form, it isn't accepted. I have to manually enter and then delete a character for they yellow highlight to clear - and then the form submission works. It's happening with more sites now.

Is there a solution?

My credit card payment methods are missing from Firefox's settings. I tried enabling every relevant setting in about:config and still they won't appear. My current relevant settings are shown in the attached screenshot. any suggestions?

I have had Firefox using autofill for credit card payments for years--just replace my iMac with a new Mac Mini, and the credit card info still pops up when I am making a payment, but it will not autofill.

How do I delete Government Gateway user ID number stored in my computer. When i go on the website and enter the first digit, several numbers appear starting with that digit. I would like only one number to appear.

For months I've been trying to clear my saved form data as I put in the wrong email address, and when using saved form data sometimes don't notice it's wrong, so replies disappear into the ether.

Under Settings/Privacy & Security/Clear browsing data I have cleared Everything with all check boxes checked, and multiple times just tried the Saved form info checkbox. The wrong email refuses to die along with the related form data.

It is infuriating. Maybe you can correct it manually, or actually wipe it for me? The INCORRECT email is 'bongoots@yahoo.co.uk'. The CORRECT email is 'bongboots@yahoo.co.uk'.

ive searched every article from here and beyond, but i cannot seem to find the button to edit my payment information. strange since it still prompts to autofill it

Hello, For few months my texts are being modified automatically in a strange way. please find an example in french : With Edge => bonjour, nous avons encore un souci sur une facture, le blocage V est présent. With Firefox => bonjour, nous assez assez un encore sur une facture , le V est présent. This means nothing :) Could you help me to stop this ? Tks

I can't find a place to manage my payment methods. The only place I found that was when I check out and fill in my information in a store website.

The browser suggests my card and under that it says "Manage payment methods".

When I click that it opens "about:preferences#privacy-form-autofill" and then quickly becomes "about:preferences#privacy".

So I've been looking for the saved payment methods in my browser since I got a new card.

I realized that it is gone and that has 2 consequences for me.

1. I Cannot for the life of me remove the currently old saved one.

And

2. I do not want to save the new actual one, since I seem to have no control of my saved cards and will not be able to remove it.

Also I made Firefox stop asking, but it does not get the memo and keeps asking to save my new card.

So the common thing is that the saved cards should be in "about:preferences#privacy" under "Autofill" and there should be a button that says "Saved payment methods".

There is media on this. pictures etc. youtube videos and it is a box that appears when you press it unlike about:logins which is a tab in itself, so accessing it this way seems to be no option.

Doing some digging and found this article https://support.mozilla.org/kn/questions/1443578 It does not work for me being in DK.

Downloaded a older version of firefox 142.0 to be specefik and it does have to feature / Button but, it also does not have any data.

So what gives Mozilla? Why did you remove the button and why is the data locked away?

Included are images of current version (146.0.1) having the button removed and 142 having the button.

I need to manage my payment methods but the option is no longer present in the settings/privacy and security.

How to do firefox manages them enccore since the filling still works in case of purchase but I have to modify one so I need help.

LATELY, I CANNOT USE MY CREDIT CARD. i INPUT MY SAVED PASSWORD FROM WINDOWS LOGIN.

IT OFFERS CHOICES THEN WHEN I ATTEMPT TO PAY WHAT I WANT TO PAY, THE FORM GOES BLANK AGAIN.

NOT SURE IF THIS IS A WINDOWS ISSUE OR FF, BUT AT LEAST MY ANSWER WILL BE QUICKER HERE.
