I seem to have a problem with Firefox's builtin PDF viewer. Instead of black text on a white or gray background or something else sensible, I get black text floating over my desktop background in the part of the Firefox window that's showing a PDF. PDFs display fine in an external viewer, but that's just passing the buck, isn't it? Is there a way to fix this on Firefox?

I suspect hardware acceleration is the issue, but everything else seems fine, so I don't want to just blanket disable hardware acceleration. How can acceleration for PDFs alone be disabled?

I click the Share Data button, and instead I get a complaint every time, that "We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data, please try these manual steps." I ain't falling for that no more, every time I click that manual steps thing, it blanks out everything I already typed, and when I come back I have to start over!

Anyway, how do I get that complaint to go away, and the details to appear in the Troubleshoot Information box like they ought to?

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. do know computers very well, have used firefox for all my web browsing, firefox kept crashing according to screen so it opened saved apparent older version and I lost all my bookmarks and passwords, please help

As I said in the title, the spellchecker add-on I use, LanguageTool, does not work on this site. I am not fine with that. What's the best way to get it working here? Any answers that amount to "you don't" are not acceptable.

How do I stop these recurring update notices? Every 3 seconds. I'll update when I am ready as this current one does not affect me at all. For a while I fell for it, stopped what I was doing and did the ridiculous update, it still continues! I can move on to a different non-Mozilla browser if I have too. Return the option to not update and/or do it manually. FF127.0.2

Everything was fine, then one recent day - BAM - my logins and passwords are gone.

The profile is otherwise fine, everything is as expected. Logins.json (243K) is fine, all the logins (last id is 459) are there, they just don't show up in about:logins (except for new ones I added since the disappearance).

When opening about:logins, browser console reports:

What the fuck did you do!!! your last update wiped out all my bookmarks for all my work and everything. who thought that was a GREAT IDEA should be fired!!!! What the fuck do I have to do to get them back and thank you for fucking up my life.

l cannot access my saved passwords in firefox.wehn l open passwords, l am unabel to view or use my savwd passwords. please help me recover access to my saved passwords.
