Hello. This question concerns the Windows 11 desktop version of Firefox.

I have long used the Home and End keys on my extended keyboard to scroll to the very top of any given page in Firefox (Home) or to the very bottom of that page (End).

But, lately, I notice that, for no reason I can figure out, Firefox no longer responds to those shortcuts. Now, when I tap Home or End, the page may, at first, scroll up or down slightly but not to the top or bottom. If I press Home or End again, nothing happens at all.

Sometimes, if I press Ctrl + Home simultaneously or Ctrl + End the page will scroll to the top or bottom respectively.

Why has Firefox's behavior apparently changed? Is there an issue with my keyboard or operating system settings? (I use a Logitech G915 keyboard.)

Please let me know how to restore Firefox's shortcut functionality, where I can tap just Home to scroll to the top of a page or only End to scroll to the bottom of a page.

I have Firefox version 136.0.2. I think it was quite recently updated. The right click menu is broken. The choice list is much longer, and the choices "open link in new tab" and "copy link" (ones I tried) do not work. This only started happening this morning. Right click works fine in Chrome. I have an issue where I will frequently get the error pictured on random sites. This started happening a few years ago at my previous home with my old computer. It got so annoying that I had to switch to Brave browser for a while. I recently moved to a new residence, I have a new computer, and a different ISP and equipment, so I thought I would give Firefox a try again. To my shock, the issue still occurs exactly the same way at the same rate. I would say it is as frequent as 1 in 5 sites that I visit. If I hit the Try Again button 5 or so times, the site will load. The only thing I can think of that is common to the old computer and the new one is my Firefox account. Could there be something in my settings causing this to happen? I remember that I even tried Librewolf before switching to Brave but the issue occurred there as well. Any assistance or tips would be appreciated, I feel like I am going crazy at this point. xD

I recently switched from Brave to FireFox, and notice that my Google search results page doesn't load properly. I'm not sure how long after switching this was an issue. I feel like Google worked fine for a time, but now it's suddenly loading improperly.

I've also grabbed the console output from Google when on a search results page. You can find that here.

I'm using Windows 11 and have never had this issue happen before as far as I can remember. I am aware of a thread with an identical issue, but my issue still persists even after trying their solution.

Any help would be appreciated.

How to add translation icon to the toolbar? The toolbar does not show the translation icon and Manage Toolbar does not show an icon for it. I am running Firefox 136.0 on Windows 10 Pro.

Using Firefox browser 126.0.1 via Steam Deck desktop running SteamOS 3.6.22; I am unable to download any extensions. I tried to download uBlock Origin and ProtonVPN through addons.mozilla.org, but recieved an error message:

"Installation aborted because the add-onn appears to be corrupt."

I then checked other extensions I found on the front page recommendations, like "Dark Reader" and "Image Search Options" and they gave me the same error.

Could not find anything that helped my situation upon searching for solutions, any help would be appreciated.

Recently, whenever I access a local TV stations news post and try to read it, I get the pop-up shown in the attachment. Why is it happening and what can I do to eliminate it?

I already have "Automatically install updates" and "When Firefox is not running" enabled.

But after each Firefox update I still get the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes..." prompt and "Firefox is installing your updates and will start in a few moments" window. These are inconvenient as they require user input and take up time.

I don't get these on all other browsers I use (including Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Brave), which all update in the background seamlessly.

Is there a way to prevent these in Firefox and just have Firefox update seamlessly in the background like other browsers?

I also cannot upload images using Firefox to Messenger. The large purple image is a result of an upload, but it should be a picture of a woman saved from Krita.

I tried a setting called "Refresh Firefox" and that fixed it but only for less than a day. whats going on?

Hello, I have some issues with Firefox keeping my logged in my Google account. When I close Firefox it logs me out of Google, but not other websites. I have tried some methods from other threads on this site but still without success. I have the setting for delete cookies on Firefox close to off and have tried Firefox remember history and use custom settings. Thank you for reading this.

Good afternoon. Since recently (probably after the last Firefox update to version 136.0) I have a problem: every time I start Firefox it requires the main password set in the settings. Before this problem did not occur, no settings were changed.

I read the official article on this topic, but the recommendations described there did not help me. I turned off the password, logged out of the browser, turned it back on, logged out again, and nothing. When I turned it back on, still at every startup it asked for the password.

I also noticed that every time I start it up, the loading circle next to the cursor spins, like something is happening. Can you tell me what it could be and how to get rid of this problem?

Dear Sir/Madam I am unable to reach Jiohotstar website since last three days. The same site is accessible through Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers. I also tried through Firefox browser on a different machine but could not succeed. I have cleared all the cookies and cache as well but it was of no use. Firefox is running with the latest version. I can't access my Manage Accounts page. When signed in, I've clicked on 'manage accounts', (via Browser menu, and in Settings) and it opens the error message below. I've tried to open the page on 'troubleshoot mode', restarted Firefox several times, and logged out and in, several times. I'm always getting the same error message. I'm on Windows 10. I desperately need to update my email, as my log in is being deleted and this is the only page to do this from. Can anyone help?
