That happens also in safe mode, but not with Chrome.

I am using FF Developer 126.0b8 (64-bit).

Hello, By default, DoH fails on Max Protection in the latest OS versions listed above. The workaround I've discovered is using https://1.1.1.1/dns-query, but I would rather use the default settings.

I haven't been able to login with MFA on my uni website and also make purchases using credit cards on commercial sites.

I have tried Troubleshooting mode and the problem persists. Switching to Opera browser showed normal functionality.

Firefox 125.0.3 (64-bit) on macOS 14.4

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.

I'm running Firefox which I compiled with vaapi support because I was trying to use hardware acceleration for videos, so I think this bug may have something to do with that. Every time I open a pdf file my browser instantly crashes. When I use troubleshoot mode I have no such issue. I then tried with a fresh all-default user profile with no add-ons, nothing, and still I crash when loading a PDF. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hello! I updated FLOORP on the 5th May, FLOORP crashed and then Brave, Firefox, Waterfox, LibreWolf and Vivaldi started crashing. I had Brave and Vivaldi open when I launched FLOORP and FLOORP asked consent to update itself and after updating, it did not open in “previous session” and I could not open “previous session” through History. When I launched “Settings” from menu, “previous session” opened! I had pinned “Settings” earlier.

Now the bizarre happens; suddenly LibreWolf launches by itself also without “previous session” and open tabs in Brave and Vivaldi disappear to single New Tab. After some tinkering, I was able to restore “previous session” in LibreWolf, Brave and Vivaldi.

Now I close all browsers and open Firefox, no “previous session” and some random windows in its history, opening these random windows also opened “previous session”! 🙄But then Waterfox launches also without “previous session”, here clicking on OneTab extension recovered “previous session”.

Cutting short; I uninstalled, Waterfox, LibreWolf and FLOORP, this did not help, I ran System Restore twice to two different points and it has not resolved the issue.

Dear all, I would like to know how to disable the automatic insertion of the tag
in a text editor in Firefox. I am using Froala, and I am experiencing this only in firefox. Chrome and Edge do not add this tag automatically. Thank you for you support. Kind regards, Cristiano

I keep getting notifications asking me to update firefox every couple of days. I download the update, it goes smoothly, the notification disappears, but it comes back in a day or two. I also have my setting to supposedly do updates automatically, but that doesn't seem to be working. Please help!

something apparently got corrupted in firefox.. i tried running update and i keep getting failed to update.. i have refreshed.. i have uninstalled and reinstalled ...nothing. i am sure there is a folder or file somewhere that is corrupted and i cannnot find it. because even when i uninstall and reinstall fresh. all my bookmarks are there .. how to i start a TRUE NEW install??

I want to keep browser open after closing last tab. I changed the boolean parameter "browser. tabs. closeWindowWithLastTab" to "false" but the browser still closes with closing of last tab.

What else is required ?

I can no longer play any podcast since upgrade to 125.0.3 The arrow/button to play any podcast is neutral, is not active. Or, on spotify if finding a podcast on gardening, clicking the play button plays something on a completely different topic.

My Windows virus protection shows nothing but I keep getting notices int he lower right corner of my screen that say Mozilla Firefox ESR and tell me there is an infection. It tries to take me to a website to scan and then buy McAfee to fix it. If I make sure Firefox is shut down (forced through Task Manager) it seems to go away. It appears that only the Firefox browser may be infected.

I've disabled all of my addons, cleared cache, and still youtube is broken for me. It works fine with Chrome still. Any ideas on how to fix? See attched screenshot.

hi the translate fucion in firefox is vry usefull, but i want to NOT TRANSLATE ANYTHING EXCEPT sites i select only

i.e. surfing around german site.. .leave it german, but i if i am interest in "german.de/talkshow" select it and translate only this

i see option to translate EVERYTHING and use some exception, but its the opposite of what looking for

Hi, I have been using firefox for many years and never showed me an UAC popup requiring permissions to update firefox as soon as i clicked the firefox icon in the taskbar. Today suddenly required it. I am administrator in windows 10, and have automatic updates enabled as always. I am using 125.0.3 (64-bit) version. This could be a bug or a virus? i am worried that could have given permission to a virus to install something else when i pressed the firefox icon.
