Добрый день. Проблема наблюдается примерно около полугода. В браузере открыто несколько вкладок, не закрываются (новости, ВК, поиск, различные статьи и тд.). Происходит следующее: читаю активную вкладку, строго через определенное время, без каких-либо действий с моей стороны, активная вкладка меняется, т.е. открыты вкладки 1-5, активная 2, через 10 мин (до переустановки мозиллы всегда одно время) активной становится 4, к примеру. Раньше фокус перемещался на вкладку поиска Yandex, если закрыть вкладку с Яндексом проблема уходила! Я удалил браузер Yandex и все что было от него (автозагрузку, планировщик заданий), переустановил Firefox. Какое-то время все работает, но потом начинается снова, тут время переключения меняется. В последний раз (после удаления Яндекса) фокус стал переключаться на mail.ru, значит яндекс тут не при чем. Если закрыть Mail проблемы нет, если открыть страницу снова, то примерно через 1 мин. открывается mail.ru. Доп. информация Windows 11, плагинов и расширений в мозилле нет, пробовал работать в безопасном режиме браузера - не помогает, перезагрузка не помогает, помогает только закрытие "маркированных" страниц, проверял на вирусы NOD32, cureIT в безопасном режиме работы ОС, вирусов нет. Очень прошу помочь с решением!

When using vertical tabs layout with "expand sidebar on hover" setting enabled, sidebar scrolls up with each expansion, so that when hovering over a certain tab of collapsed sidebar, another open tab is under the mouse pointer when expanded. For additional details please refer to the attached video.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable vertical tabs layout with "expand sidebar on hover" setting 2. Open a lot of tabs 3. Hover over a certain tab

Observed result: The sidebar expands with mouse over another tab and the list of tabs scrolled up.

Expected result: The sidebar expands and mouse pointer is hovering over the same tab after expansion from collapsed state.

Often after restarting firefox 148.0 … … 

… … for whatever reason, it comes up "clean".   Despite asking for tabs to be restored, they often are not.

I have about 7 tabs that I have pinned (i.e., gmail, penzu, contacts, etc).

Is there a way to have this happen automagically when started?

Doesn't seem obvious to me.

После обновления компьютера закрылись все группы вкладок. Они все есть в разделе закрытые группы, возможно ли их восстановить, если да, то как открыть закрытые группы вкладок?

I am using Firefox on a W11 64 desktop. Until recently (the most recent upgrade, I think) all worked well. But since then although the relevant box is ticked in settings (aboutpreferences general), on opening Firefox the tabs from the preceding session are NOT restored. This is extremely inconvenient.

Have any others found this same problem? Any work arounds?

when I click a url link from mail it opens a new firefox window instead of a new tab on existing window. I like to keep all tabs in one open firefox window. Firefox crashed last night and lost all of my tabs; I was able to restore but now having issues with email url links opening in a stand-alone new window - HOW do I revert to former option?

Normally Ctrl+Shift+T reopens the last tab I closed in that specific window, but after the most recent update it reopens the last tab I closed in /any/ window. Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi why have firefox started to close tabs when browser beeing closed? Allready checked the usual sugggestions like open previous, private mode etc. Assuming this relates to an update because have same issue on several computers ( same account)

i had multiple tabs set up in multiple groups and i used yo restore these every day when i rebooted every morning and all that is lost to me now. i can see that the groups are there but can no longer use them. how can i uninstall mozilla firefox

Hello. I have issue with Firefox. I am often opening firefox by command: firefox --no-remote -P <profil> --new-window "<web_site>" Usualy it works. But sometimes it is opening new window and my web_site is located in second tab. First tab (which is completelly unwated) start loading after clicking on it. It is a recently closed tab. I call this tab zombie-tab. It was finished and properly closed, however it rose from the dead. I tried to set in about:config browser.sessionstore lot of parameter to absolutelly forbid to save any information. However, there is still whole history in the list, sites are restorable and sometimes it appears these zombie-tabs. Restore from crash is also deactivated. I tried before to start the firefox without --no-remote parameter, but AI recommend me to add it there. It did not help. Since it is happening occasionally, I consider it as a bug. Some my settings: browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes = 0 browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo = 0 browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo = 0 browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash = 0 browser.sessionstore.cleanup.forget_closed_after = 149 Version: 140.7.0esr (64-bita) OS: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) How to prevent to create zombie-tabs?

I have vertical tabs enabled and the "expand when hovering mouse" option is activated (see screenshot). However, the latter functionality tends to glitch at some point in basically every session. I can't tell if a specific action triggers it, so far it seems pretty random. The glitch is that either the tabs are expanded and won't collapse, or the opposite: they're collapsed and refuse to expand when I point at them. Is this feature maybe still experimental? or something? I'm running Firefox 149.0b5 DEveloper Edition on Garuda Linux (Arch based).

When I start MF, all tabs I have used before open. Good! But one of these tabs are not in use. That it why I want to close it for ever.

The option to delete it for ever is not available.

Links keep opening in new windows, and not within new or same tab. Shift key is not stuck and all toggles in the Tabs Opening/Interaction Settings field have been turned off
