Hi, Firefox is displaying letters with accents (e.g. letters from Spanish words) incorrectly as Cyrillic letters. This makes a lot of webpages difficult to read. This does not seem to be happening all the time. Neither does it seem to happen in other apps other than Firefox. I have my preferred languages for displaying webpages in Firefox set as En-GB, en, es-es, in that order. Ditto for my wider system settings. In terms of my wider system keyboards I do have Russian installed, in order of preference this is gb > us > es > ru. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to ensure Spanish and other Latin letters display correctly?

I've been using Firefox for many years now and I always considerded it the absolute best browser. The last six months or so it doesn't work well on Facebook though. Pictures don't load as they should for example. It can work for a short time, but if i stayed on Facebook 15 minutes or so it always be problems. I have no idea what this is all about, but nowadays I have been forced to use Edge when I browse Facebook. Can anyone help me with this?

I seem to be having a problem when playing any VR content in the latest default version of Firefox (97.0.1, 64-bit). When VR content is being displayed, I do not get a prompt to allow access to my VR headset in the address bar.

I have a first generation Oculus Rift CV1. In the Oculus software's settings, I have enabled Unknown Sources and selected it as my default OpenXR runtime (see attached image).

I would like to provide some suggestions as to what might be going wrong but I am unable to even hazard a guess. VR games and standalone applications work fine. It is almost as if Firefox doesn't recognise I have a VR-compatible device?

How can I transfer bookmarks from a pc to an iMac? You should have a button to click on that prompts you to put in a thumb drive and it automatically copies bookmarks and you just have to transfer it to the other computer. And why can't you customize bookmarks with different colors and fonts? It would make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Hello, today while reinstalling my Firefox ,despite data sync was enabled on my account, I lost all data like: custom look, bookmarks and saved passwords. Here is my question: Is there any chance to bring that data back? I've tried to get my Bookmarks from backup and synchronizing data few times but it seems that account lost it. I have encounter a very odd situation where my Firefox wont launch properly where address bar does not work, no content can be display and the page, I have tried: 1. Uninstall (NSIS Error- Error launching installer) 2. Download a new installer from FireFox and install on top if current ver. 97.0.1(64 bits), same behavior just blank screen. 3. Trying to go setting but nothing happened when go three line and settings (the page stay at blank page) 4. I can click + to create new tab but could not switch to it. I have to close current tab and it will automaticlly goes to the next tab (still blank page) 5. Unable to signin to sync data 6. Whenever I launch Firefox, it will always have two task and one of them always not responding and browser become not responding 7. Restart did not solve the problem so does install FireFox on different Winodws profile. 8. About:support could not be display

Started using Chrome because Firefox suddenly decided not to connect me to the sites that I go to daily. The sites that I am trying to reach are the same ones that I go to several times a day and gone to for the past 3 years.

On safari: sign in for CCSF works with ID box and PW box. On Firefox: sign in only has ID box and no PW box so I can't sign in. I called IT at the college..they can't figure it out. There must be a formatting issue with FF since it comes up fine on Safari.

Google maps loads correctly and after a few seconds it turns black and you can't see anything... i have removed add-ons and turned off hardware acceleration and cleared cache but nothing works for more than a minute... how can we fix this?

Your version 97 update somehow got installed on my computer -- even though I had purposefully DISABLED automatic updates. You have obviously made some very bad choices in update 97 regarding web site display. Now several web sites that I use regularly DO NOT display properly and are hence extremely difficult to use. I have used Firefox for many years and have generally been satisfied with it. But this new and very serious problem with your 97.0.1 version is completely unacceptable.

How can I easily get back to a prior version of Firefox that does display web sites properly, especially without losing all of my settings, cookies, etc?

If easily getting back to a prior version of Firefox is not possible, then I will have no other option but to completely abandon your browser, and instead use Chrome or some other browser that is more stable that Firefox!!

Even your own web site does not work properly as it does not allow me to select the box below to "Email me when someone answers the thread"

I recently noticed that my Firefox hadn't updated in a few weeks. When clicking on Help -> About Firefox the Check for Updates button is missing (I was at 97.0). I then downloaded the latest version of Firefox which created a 2nd Firefox icon. I deleted the old Firefox and am now using 97.0.1 but the About Firefox window is still missing the check for updates button (see attached pic).

Also strange is that in the Settings Menu, under General, there are no choices for anything (the other options work) (see attached pic).

I have now had two websites that are having problems with a fully updated Firefox and they are telling me to update the Browser. Chase and now the IRS site is wanting me to update and I'm running 97.0.1 (64 bit). Win10 that is also fully updated.

Hello, recently I noticed both of my computers get hot and fans get loud, I did some research and figured it's the Firefox that's causing it when I go to task manager the memory usage is always high and the CPU sometimes spikes up to 60-70% usage and the power usage is at very high . One of the laptops is windows 11 and the other is windows 10 . Please let me know if there's any fix to this. Thank you.

For some reason (probably Microsoft vandalism), Firefox was removed from my startup programs a few weeks ago. I looked in the MS list of apps and saw 2 versions of x64 Firefox, -GB and -US. Being in GB, I chose to uninstall the US version. Then Firefox stopped working. It was not longer shown on my desktop, and had disappeared from the start menu. But the GB version was still listed in the app list (209MB), but I cannot find out how to start it. IOBit suggests it is buried in ../Appdata/local. It does not appear when I use the taskbar search for Firefox.

So I reinstalled Firefox, but the tool gave no options on which version to install, nor where to install it. The US version was reinstalled on my C: drive. Just going round in circles.

How do I solve the problem? Thank you.
