I now have trouble logging into jungledisk.com after most recent "improvement" to Firefox. Never ran into this annoyment until new FF rolled out. My current work around, go to Edge. No problems getting to jungledisk there.

I get the following when I try,

"Cookies required to use Firefox

To continue signing in using Firefox, allow cookies to be stored on this device. You might see this screen more than once."

Below is the dialog box to log on asking for user name and password finally "Sign In". This "Sign In" is greyed out. Can log on the jungledisk not no way, not no how.

FF has hijacked my PDF files, i.e. opens them online by default. I have selected "open in Acrobat 9.5" in the Settings menu / Applications, but it still opens the files in the web viewer. How do I stop that short of uninstalling Mozilla? I am using Windows 7 Enterprise and this problem just started with the last FF update.

OK, this is a little funny. It used to be, if I wanted to open a website, I just clicked on the URL, and Firefox would open with it. Now (and I'm using 95.0.2 on iMac Big Sur), when I click on the the URL NOTHING HAPPENS if a Firefox window isn't already open. That is, you have to have a Firefox window already open in order for the website to appear. For example, in the Bookmark library, if a Firefox window isn't already open, clicking on a website there won't open it. You need to right click it and select OPEN. Now, Firefox is selected already as the default browser for the system.

How do I fix this? I mean, how do I get it back the way it used to be?

Alternatively, for the shortcut ctrl + 0-9 to activate pinned tabs, and for the shortcut cmd + 0-9 unpinned tabs?

Hello, since tooday firefox is consuming all my RAM (12g) in less than 1 min after started running, whole memory is consumed by 1 process (out of 11) without any tabs opened. I am able to close the process without any noticable issues with browser however, the same thing happens each time i open browser again and it makes my pc freeze after 2-3 min. I haven't done any update or installed anything that coud interfere with browser. Version: 95.0 Windows 7, 64bit

How do I setting Firefox to remember specific web site preferences? every time I close a tab, Firefox deletes its entering credentials. This is very annoying when QR code needed like in https://messages.google.com/.

As of a couple of days ago, I've had trouble with my Firefox Extensions. The most apparent one being ads appearing on the sites I browse (I have the Adblock extension installed and active). The extension that reveals the "dislike" ratio on Youtube only works if I disable and then enable the extension, for each video I watch. My entire extensions toolbar seems faulty as well.

I've attached images to illustrate: - Rakuten just appears as a blank box upon clicking it - Video downloader extensions just appear as a white line (doesn't open at all) - Bitwarden (password manager) says "not available in private mode", even though I'm not using a private window

For an unknown reason, Firefox Browser doesn't render portions of text on some pages, leaving invisible areas. I'm using the latest version (95.0.2) on Windows 10, but this was a problem in other recent versions. It only happens on some systems. No other browser I've tried has the same problem, so the issue is definitely Firefox-specific.

One example of a problematic page is arxiv.org, another one is Caltech News; see the attached screenshots for how Firefox renders these pages on my system.

Here's what I found out.

1. The issue goes away if I disable the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" font setting.
2. The issue remains even if I disable/uninstall all add-ons.
3. Refresh-install doesn't resolve the issue.
4. After uninstalling and installing Firefox cleanly again, with old settings auto-imported (bookmarks, history, logins ...) and no add-ons present, the issue is not present at first. However, if I enable "Open previous windows and tabs" option to restore my session on startup, the issue reappears after I close and re-open Firefox a couple of times, and doesn't go away after that. It doesn't matter whether the problematic pages are included in the restored session or not; they will simply not show all text as expected if I visit them.
5. Deleting the entire cache, cookies, site data and site settings doesn't help.
6. Opening Firefox in Troubleshoot mode make the problem disappear, but it returns immediately when I leave the Troubleshoot mode.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I downloaded several files and I can see them when I click on the little arrow, but when I look for them in my computer downloaded file , they aren't there. I go back up to the little arrow and it shows the file was downloaded, but it's not in my computer . So when I went back up to the little arrow and right clicked on it to open --it worked, the file opened, but it never showed up on my computer. The next day I tried to find the file in my computer but no success. I went to Firefox drop down and under downloads the file showed up, but I couldn't do anything with it. So now I can't find it on my computer and it doesn't work when I use it from Firefox's drop down selection. I have downloaded several other files with no problem. I have the site espn.com bookmarked and for the last month or so it has been opening it's various foreign sites instead of the united states version when I click on the bookmark tab. It will switch to the UK and Mexico sites randomly when I click on the tab. The address is saved as the US version (espn.com) when this happens so I can't figure out why it's doing it. It doesn't matter if I use a vpn that says I'm in the US or just my regular internet provider in the US, the site keeps changing what country it chooses to open with. I noticed that every time I click the tab it will cycle between the various different sites for each country even though as I said before, the bookmark is set for espn.com. It makes no sense as none of my other bookmarks do this and it doesn't do it when I use Safari's browser. Is there anything on my end I can do to get this to stop or is it coming from espn.com's end? Recently I started getting an error saying SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE while trying to open a website. That particular site can only be accessed through my demat account so replicating my situation is not possible. Other browsers like Chrome, Edge are able to open it but Firefox cant, it does only when OCSP is disabled. I reinstalled the browser but the problem remains. Pls tell me how to add that website to exception if its possible or delete all the certificates currently loaded on Firefox or a full reset of the browser removing all previous data. And is it okay if I keep OCSP off all the time?

Portalbella web site use to say use IE9 (which no longer exists). So why can I sign in with Edge but Firefox says invalid ID or Password? I may have to start all over again or just use Edge.

Hi, for quite some time now facebook becomes slow after a couple of minutes, photos dont show up, posts dont load etc. I have to shut down firefox, open it and go onto facebook again. Its only when using firefox i have this issue, if i use other browsers its perfect so clearly a firefox issue. I have noticed others complain of this also so when can we expect a fix for this?

I recently had to do a PC reset and thus lost all my files, settings and programs FF included. Upon reinstalling I don't have the option to save, view or sync credit card info. The whole section is missing from my settings.

I have already gone to about:config and enabled both of the autofill settings to true (as suggested in other Q&As) and restarted multiple times with no luck.

Any ideas why I would be missing this option?

I recently received a request from AVG to have an add-on - AVG Online Security - which will protect against phishing and malware sites. There was a note from Firefox that Firefox does not monitor this add-on.

I use AVG Virus Protection - free copy - and it seems to be doing its job; although, I have been thinking about buying the software.

Has anyone used this add-on? Is it all right to install? Is it necessary to install? Since I changed internet service providers, I have not seen much in the way of phishing and AVG Virus Protection prevented me from accessing two websites it said were questionable.

I keep getting here on Mozzilla Firefox this Error "Stop" pop-up thing that slows down the Firefox browser I tried calling the Mozilla Company in California with out any success. When I sign in to my Google account on my PC it sends a link to my phone for me to click "Yes it's me" to authenticate the sign in. The Google sign-in screen on my PC (Firefox browser) has a checkbox to 'trust' this device. Even though I select that option it still insists on sending the phone link to click on. How do I get Firefox/Google to remember the 'trust' checkbox state?

PS. I don't like cookies or browsing history to be saved, but do allow certain exceptions.
