All of a sudden my web address bar at the top of the screen disappears when I open a web address and I have to push my mouse to the top of the screen to make it appear? Didn't used to do this.

After the last FF update, I can only connect to FF ... no other website! I did a system restore to an earlier date which seemed to make it worse. Absolutely zero content appears on any website I choose to go to. The tab shows the name of the website, however it doesn't "connect."

Please help me rectify this challenge. Thank you.

I have a 2nd identical "other" folder located in the "other" folder. They are somehow linked to each other, so that if I try to delete a bookmark under the 2nd duplicate one, it deletes it from both. If I select something in one folder and then click on the second one that selected item shows under the second as well. I don't want two folders but cannot delete or change anything or it deletes the original as well. Other than restoring an old bookmark backup to replace this defective one does anyone have any solution to fixing this? Thanks Cheers

I recently switched from windows to Linux, and was using it for 3 months now. It was due to window recall Feature. But still i was using chrome as default and daily browser. I wanted to explore firefox, its great actually, except 2 things which might need me to switch back to chrome or brave.

1. it don't have fu**king Profile switch, I mean i use 11 Profiles On Chrome, most people still use 2-4 profiles, how can we move to a browser that dont support profiles. I know we can add profiles by "about:Profiles" I tried it. It worked but guess what? To switch profile i have to manually go to that page to launch it. So much time consuming and frustrating. Why not simply add a btn on profile pic like chrome to switch profiles?

2. Add-ons is good thing, but there should be a way to install things from chrome web store, i not found any.

If firefox can fix these two things firefox can simply grow back to 30+ % market share, but if not people will just test l;like me and go.

When I attempt login to store account, I get the error below. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox to no avail; login works fine in MS Edge

Whenever I try to load up the https://edfinancial.studentaid.gov/welcome login page, I keep getting a white page with "The page was not displayed because the request entity is too large." I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how to fix it so I can look at my student loans.

All of a sudden, I can't download any attachments, no matter what file type it is. I've reset Firefox to it's default, restarted, everything suggested. I don't have the first clue as to what this is.

I have no idea how to fix a problem that just emerged in the last hour.

I can't download file attachments sent by email. Yesterday I could. I have been using Mozilla Firefox as my browser for more than 10 years. I tried restarting my computer that didn't help.

For some reason I notice that some of our image files, viewed after opening an online pdf document with images within, shows random white horizontal lines. This is not shown using edge or chrome. you can go here to view https://mcclone.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Connects-Issue-12.pdf.

After the tab crashes there appears a box from Firefox that says it will report the tab crash and then at the bottom of the info box there is the option of reconnecting or reestablishing the connection with the tab that had just crashed but nothing seems to be happening. I used to be able to open a new tab and have it open to my standard home page. Now the only options are blank or the firefox page for a new tab. WHY??? I want to see my home page when I open a new tab.

I receive e-mail from websites where I subscribe. Many times, the message from the sites (kelbyone.com, to name one) contain a graphic (jpg) that does not display in Outlook.com. Microsoft Tech Support is unresponsive. The sending websites refuse to help.

If I paste the hyperlink into the search window, the page will load. When I forward the e-mail from Outlook to yahoo mail, the image displays.

I am running extensions Adblocker Ultimate and DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials.

I would like help with this, at least, to identify where the problem is.

I have tried to find solutions to this and have not found anything to be a permanent fix. I recently have found my FireFox browser closing my first attempt to open and upon opening my second attempt Firefox will open but give me a pink address bar with a robot stating "browser is under remote control (reason: Dev Tools)" and the only thing that seems to get rid of this temporarily is going to my control panel (I'm a windows user) and toggling the remote assistance checkbox (I keep it unchecked since this problem has occurred). Then after re-opening Firefox again, it appears to work normally - no pink address bar with robot. Is there a permanent fix for this? Is it an OS issue or a Firefox issue? Maybe both? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly tech savvy, but not too familiar with browser interfaces and solutions involving the command line.

When I go to Settings > Privacy & Security the only "autofill" setting is to import data from another browser. I am signed in, in the US, and my VPN is set to Seattle.

There should be a feature where you can copy the link to particular text on a webpage (much like when you click on a Google result for a certain part of an article). Where do I suggest features for Firefox?
