Firefox seems to crash repeatedly and generates no crash reports, just freezes up my pc. It works in troubleshooting mode but even after refreshing, the problem persists. Surprisingly, it will consistently crash if I go to `about:support` (except in troubleshooting mode). Any help would be appreciated!

A setting I would like to change in both Firefox Beta and Thunderbird Beta is "grayed out" and has a lock next to it preventing change. What configuration file(s) do I look for to find where they have been locked, so I can unlock them and change the setting? Thank you.

A month ago I started to have problem with twitch. After 5minutes or 2 hours- random times or random tabs, if I have opened more than 1, which is always the case. Some tabs or all, again it's random will give twitch 2000 error and refresh, closing tab,etc nothing will work, except closing WHOLE browser, not just tabs and this is not guaranteed that it will work.

I'm losing my mind with closing whole browser-windows-tabs on different monitors and then re-opening all of that again when I get 2000 error and I always do get it.

Did like 50 re-installs, it's always the same. I tried to go back to older version, but Firefox always want to create new profile saying I have old version installed and I DO NOT want that, I want everything as it is right customized,etc right now.

I've just installed Firefox Developer. I cannot get Mozilla VPN added to it. Can you help? Do I have to remove Mozilla VPN from the old Firefox installation before it will work?

Also, can I run both Firefox and Firefox Developer at the same time? I'm concerned that Profile entries an other variables might be corrupted.

Last, are there any articles or videos available to help users learn how to use FxDeveloper?

With a recent update of Firefox Developer Edition to version 117.0b9 i keep getting extremely annoying popups on all sites, asking me if I want to translate stuff.

I don't want to store unnecessary settings in my browser, related to exceptions to websites/languages that I want vs. does not want to translate.

I want to completely disable translations, globally. Forever. Two questions:

- Why there is no "disable translations globally" checkbox in the newly added popup? - Is there an about:config hack to do disable translations globally, for all languages, for all websites, and forever?

Took me a long time to nail this issue down. Recently (past 1-2 years?), Firefox has started suggesting the base website when you have bookmarks that include the base domain - and it's really bothersome from a UX perspective. E.g. if i have "adobe.com/express" or any other adobe bookmarks, the FIRST autocompleted url Firefox gives me is "adobe.com" which I DO NOT have as a bookmark. In my Firefox settings I also have Shortcuts and other search suggestions disabled.

Why is Firefox doing this?

If I search for something in the address bar, Firefox will endlessly load. I need to click the address bar and hit enter to search again which will instantly load what I'm looking for. Same thing happens if I highlight a text and click search with google. URLs seem to work fine.

On some sites like youtube, crunchryroll, and other sites usually where it's main purpose is to play videos my sound plays fine. However, on other sites like osu's website, chess.com, duolingo, and others, there's no sound at all. I've tried refreshing, restarting, running in safe mode, and even reinstalling the browser but none of it has worked. My tabs are also not muted. Does anyone know how to fix this?

For some reason today I started having issues with thumbnails not loading for youtube videos. I logged out of my google account and went to log back in, but whenever I try to login to my google account now I get a 400 error. I can login fine on other browsers and other devices. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Every single time I get the same result, 400 error when trying to log into my google account. Starting to feel like I'm loosing my mind here. Any troubleshooting ideas would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just updated to the latest version of FIREFOX 114.0 on Ubuntu 22.04. However, whenever a website looks for the version it is reported as 86. I am not using the SNAP version and it does not show up in SNAP LIST. Several websites have rejected access because of an outdated browser. Is this a bug or a setting that needs fixing? I've got an issue on several websites in 115b2 (but it's been an issue since at least 112) where Firefox inserts a bunch of
after a single newline. I've tried toggling editor.use_div_for_default_newlines, which had fixed this back in 92 when set to false. But now, true or false, I'm getting a bunch of line breaks when I'm not expecting them. This is only an issue in Firefox, Chrome/Edge does not have this behavior when using WYSIWYG editors. I can go back into the editor and clean out the additional line breaks without them being resubmitted, though.

I'm new to Firefox, usually in other browser, like Chrome and Edge, when I use the selector to choose element and click on it, it will bring back the console but it doesn't seems to happen in Firefox. ( I'm using separate window for the console )

Why when I drag & drop files to Outlook only URL is pasted instead of file? Is it possible to change this behavior? In Opera browser it works fine. Example in attachment.

Latest version install (116) causing functionality issues in Google apps, and other Windows 10 apps. Tried to install an earlier version and that did not work. Tried the Beta version (Current 117) and no changes.
