why does firefox blocks incoming http conection to localhost:8080 when I try to obtain a google oauth2 token using oauth2.py ?. The Google server returns the token via http to loaclhost:8080 and the port is blocked by firefox.

Hi there all!

I have been using these Add-on's for years and suddenly this week they 'dropped off' - note the greyed out ones that no longer work. I did report the add on's via the button inside to the developers as potentially broken but I'm not sure how I would hear anything back from them about that. After about 4-5 days now they are still not working. I'm unsure why they are greyed out, and the others are not - why these stopped working and the others ok. Here are the screen shots of the ones I'm referring to! They were *VERY GOOD* add on's! I would super love them back.

If you have any advice please let me know.

I realize this is in a beta OS, but I imagine it'll need to be addressed at some point.

Anywho, when using vertical tabs, the left side expand/collapse button lives underneath the close, minimize, full-screen OS buttons.

cbc gem is a Canadian comedy/video program (cbc.gem.ca) which I have enjoyed for years. But recently, they require the subscriber to allow TRACKING in order to enhance their viewing experience. Since I don't allow TRACKING on my FireFox browser .... you guessed it. I can't login. The ribbon only says "loading..." continuously, no error message, just "loading..."

Hi for some time now i have been having issues connecting to my website.. it loads every other site but when i try and load mine on firefox it comes up with no internet connection but my site works on other browsers.. anyone have any ideas on a fix for this ?

The recommended methods, changing to this in the registry :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\Certificates] "ImportEnterpriseRoots"=dword:00000000

Reverts back to 00000001

Put this policies.json and did nothing: {

} What am I missing or what's changed?

My specific need at the moment is to add another search engine option in about:preferences#search

Hello I have reinstalled my firefox on a new reinstall of windows 10 as my older version 10 crashed and went to the wall. however I have all my tabs and fafourites up and running but when i try and download my paid version of Nord VPN firefox comes back and says its not secure and wont load the website ? this has been working for me in the past. any advise would be greatfully accepted. thank you.

Doing any search brings up result page that just has my query and a search magnifying glass - not the search results as expected and working on Mac.

Crying here as I depend on it sooo much; this is a work PC and DDG is my go-to for research.

I just update firefox but all my none of my bookmarks loaded. I share my computer with my husband. He has a different account on this same computer and his bookmarks are showing up on my side, but mine are nowhere to be found. Previously we have had separate bookmark lists and all was fine. I don't know where my bookmarks went.

How do I get them back and put on "my side" and still have my husband's on his side?

I lost a bookmark folder in my main computer. I did a sync and it did not appear. I opened an other older computer and it was still there. I did a sync and expected it to then show up in my main computer, it did not. I went back to the old one, there it had now disappeared. The help files say go to bookmarks, then to manage bookmarks, except I don't have "manage bookmarks", just a list of some recent bookmarks. When I do a " bookmark search" for something which was in the folder, it finds it, so the folder is still somewhere. How do I get it back? Why did sync fail and did not add it from the old computer?

I use Firefox on Linux-Mint. When I check that I trust the digital certificate "Warsaw Personal CA" this information is not saved. Every time I restart Firefox I have to check this option.

When I play a video with the web player in Firefox that has AC3 audio, I get no sound.

Doing some research it looks like AC3 used to be patented so I assume that is why it isn't included in Firefox but since March 20, 2017 the patent for AC3 has expired so I'd think it's now OK to include in Firefox.

The same video works in Edge and Chrome.

Is there a way of changing/removing the independence of browser windows?

Whenever I have multiple windows and close one them I cannot retrieve them, re-opening closed tabs doesn't work, since it only works on their own window.

Is there a way to change this behaviour?

Hello, there is a problem with Youtube video hosting in the FireFox browser. When trying to play a video, there is an endless attempt to play the video. Attempts to fix the problem, including using about:config, were unsuccessful. We kindly ask you to let us know how to solve this problem, given that the problem is related to FireFox, since everything works properly in Chromium-based browsers. Thank you in advance!

Usually I login to my account on a public PC and when I finish my work, I log out and erase all data. From some build it doesn't fully erase the history, meaning it reloads my tabs when another person opens Firefox.

How come only on firefox does it show youtube's views, likes and subscribes number value look like an old mechanical odometer? See attached image to see what im talking about.

Does anyone know how to disable it so that it just shows the number plainly and not this weird thing?

I have a 4k monitor, with Windows scaling set to 150% to make text readable. On firefox the text is still very small - I think it is not scaling according to the monitor setting. I also think this issue only started recently?

All other apps show the text at the scaled size on that monitor. Firefox seems to be the odd one out. Screenshot attached with another app to show the difference.

Firefox 139.0.4. version is also not good! Uploading videos to Youtube does not work with it! It does not move from zero percent! As I wrote earlier, the problem started with version 138.0.4. and is still ongoing! Uploading videos works with other browsers! I am waiting for the problem to be solved! If I wrote my letter in the wrong place, please forward it to the authorities! At the moment I could write a letter here, I can't really find a topic where this would be discussed! My OS Win10 64 bit. Thank you!
