when I try to click drop down menus on rpg mo, like settings/game options or anything in the gear drop down menu it wont let me click. I can't play rpg mo is there a reason for this like is it not html they are using but it works on windows? I am using suse linux leap.

Hello. I am not familiar with this end to end encryption that Facebook now does for Messenger but now when I try to use Video Calling/Chat it tells me it is not supported by my browser, Firefox. I have never had any problems with it before. Is there a fix? Thanks

106.0.2 locks up Windows Explorer (Not Responding) on my Win 7 machine as soon as it starts. After restarting Explorer, it seems to continue working. I have seen this issue reported earlier.

Starting this morning I suddenly cant delete or mark emails as read in Outlook.live.com. Even if I open an email, and it appears as read after that, if I refresh or leave the page and come back, its marked as read again.

I tried dropping all add-ons (a kill switch to drop all add-ons and re-activate them is still a feature I feel Firefox needs, I have to click every single one of them every time) to no avail.

I was in the process of writing this question on the Microsoft forums (which is usually like whizzing in the wind) when I thought to try a different browser. I had zero issues and Outlook.live.com worked perfectly normal on Microsoft Edge.

This HAS to be a bug in a recent update in Firefox

When trying to click on links inside PDFs, the url is changed to undefined, producing an error message. For example, a Hostgator article is converted from https://hostgator.com/help/article/how-do-i-change-my-dns-or-name-servers to https://undefined/help/article/how-do-i-change-my-dns-or-name-servers

I have tried clearing the cache, troubleshooting, and get the same result in safe mode, and reverting back to Firefox default settings. And I still get the same result. I've attached an image of the error message.

Keep getting this on a number of websites. Most of them I have used for years. Can't give the websites as there are too many but some are pitchsidemanager.com, hattrick.org, skysports.com and sportinglife.com . Just four of at least 14 give the Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site message. I use No Proxy and have my anti-virus turned off when I get the message. I have tried various other proxy settings but the same thing happens. The thing is that I have to keep refreshing the page until it does actually connect and that can take a good few minutes. Sometimes I have to restart the browser. Why is this happening since the last few updates?

When I download a file before I even have a chance to save or open the file Firefox downloads the file and puts it on my desktop. I have to look at lots of .pdf files and this a bit annoying as I have to keep deleting all the files I dont want. The dialog box opens and I always choose open rather than save but Firefox has already saved a copy to my desktop. How can I stop this autosave please ? Cheers.

Ever since last Firefox update have been unable to access my DNA matches in my Ancestry program. Are you working on fixing whatever it is that you did to cause this? Heather

what is going on? Cut / copy and paste should be easy, its not. Open a new tab, google homepage, and unable to paste the item I had just copied from another tab, it will only work when I go back to original and recopy? Too time consuming this issue.

It is a popular retail chain store in Canada. I know the website is up and running because I can connect to it using another PC at home.

How do I check what messages are sent from my FF browser to the website?

And then - what is received at my browser from the website?

BTW - I have cleared the cache and restarted FF - and still cannot connect to it. There are 3 other websites that I have trouble displaying and interacting properly. How do I know this? - Well - I tried the 3 other websites from other PCs within my home network and these websites work properly.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. Hello, I have problems with Firefox web browser probabely since last automatic update (last week). Problem is that when I write something into search field in Google or another searchh engines, letters that will appear are different than I wrote on keyboard. For example I wrote " firefox podpora" but letter shown are "ffrefix ridrira". It happens only in FF. In same time I opened Chrome browser or Opera browser and tried to write same letters and in these browsers are all shown OK. Such letters discrepancy is not happen all the time but occasionaly during day seasons and take some minutes untill things go correct again. I use last version of FF 115.3.1esr Antivirus and antimalware programs shows computer as free of malware, viruses ... Can you pls help me to solve this problem? Thank you.

DIRECTLY after 114.0.1 update, I get a CONSTANT UNENDING PROMPT telling me all about firefox , ON EACH AND EVERY SEARCH, I am here to find out how to remove this intentionally annoying, "thing" from MY PC(of course Mozilla couldn't be bothered to tell us they were installing a continuous advertisement for google, and FORCE installing it as search engine). I want this endless advertisement removed, post haste.

I updated my Firefox today and now videos do not play.

I had this problem back in April after an update and I spent weeks troubleshooting it. Eventually I got it to work after trying all of the following (then, and again now):

Things I've Tried: 1.) Clearing data (cache and cookies) 2.) Turning off "Strict Mode" 3.) Running CCleaner 4.) Disabling/enabling HW acceleration 5.) Checking that the DRM box is checked (and trying it without it checked) 6.) Refreshing Firefox 7.) Uninstalling/Reinstalling 8.) Updating my Windows install 9.) Updating drivers 10.) Disabling all Firefox extensions 11.) Running without extensions 12.) Running in Firefox Troubleshooting Mode 13.) Running Windows in Safe Mode with Networking 14.) Running a fresh install of Firefox without signing in after deleting all traces of Firefox from my PC (including Program Data folders, registry entries, etc.)

What finally worked back in April was to dive into "about:config" and change "media.rdd-processenable" to "false".

That fix does not work this time around.

In the meantime I've been using Brave and having no issues. I've tried video playback in Chrome, Opera, and Edge on this computer with no issues. This playback problem is exclusive to Firefox.

Video playback still works just fine on my 4 home PCs running Windows 10 and Pop_OS (3 self-built, one Asus laptop) using this same build of Firefox.

Other/Rant: I suspect this is a Firefox/Windows 11 problem. Most likely this is not something I can fix myself, but it's incredibly frustrating since I'm buried deep in the Mozilla ecosystem and use it for work. I'd prefer not to have to swap between browsers just so I can watch videos; too many windows open on this tiny work laptop isn't fun to juggle. Basic video playback is the #1 thing I use my web browser for at both work and home so it'd be nice if this irritating, months-long, unacceptable issue were resolved. A modern browser that has video playback issues? What good is it then? What's most irritating is that it seems I'm the one of a very small number of users with this issue, since I see very little posted about it online.

I've been a Firefox user primarily for almost half a decade now - moved over from Chrome for privacy issues. Never had a problem until 4/22 of this year and considering it's still an issue 3 months later... it has me re-evaluating the reliability and my commitment to an otherwise amazing browser.

Thanks for reading my troubleshooting question. When using the Firefox browser (my favorite by far) I cannot upload low res (500x500 pixel) Jpeg photos onto my Squarespace website. I called Squarespace and they ran tests including uploading my photos successfully. Squarespace recommended I clear Firefox cache and history. Still no good. I then ran a Firefox refresh. No good. Finally I temporarily booted the God forsaken Microsft Edge browser and My Squarespace website worked just fine. Uploaded Jpeg files successfully.

I really dont want to be stuck with Microsoft Edge. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing many times that Firefox prints garbage, not what's on the screen. To get around the problem I switch to Safari.

Is anyone aware of this or I am the only one experiencing it? Is this a known bug?

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!
