youtube: Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service - i have no adblockers (extensions) on this NEW (installed 10/19/23) firefox on imac or on my macbookpro (which still allows me to watch youtube).

How should I fix the frozen browser. Firefox updated ok from another user account on this computer, though Firefox has always updated for all accounts on the computer when updated from any of the accounts. The installer tool got caught in a loop to install until it froze the browser on the third retry. What should I do?

I use google meet at work. Up until recently, things were working ok. Starting a few weeks ago (there were updates both to MacOS and Firefox), when I was in a meeting, the other side couldn't hear me even though meet said that my microphone wasn't muted. I then switched the meeting to Safari, and had no problems. I also noticed that when the remote party did a presentation, it did not show up when running on Firefox, but switching to Safari it worked. This is clearly a bug (or a miscoordination between Firefox and MacOS). Has anyone else encountered this? I'm running on a M4 MacBook running MacOS 15.3.2 and Firefox 136.0.1

I tried to search for it online but i wasn't able to find any because the software i have for firefox now won't let me open some pages on websites because i have a old version firefox software. Hello, today I could not launch Firefox on my Mac. Because this is a corporate machine from Kyndryl, I downloaded from Kyndryl App Store, I have rebooted the systems, I have updated iOS to last version, but still haven't solved the issue. This is the situation: Firefox is installed, I click to launch it, I am asked to authenticate with MFA I authenticate correctly, and Firefox just sits at the dock bar jumping, then stops jumping, and nothing else happens. I repeated the process several times, made several reboots, nothing changed. Can you suggest a solution?

So, I just now installed Firefox and now I want to change the background of the home page (new tab), the same way you would do in chrome. I did some research and created a chrome folder and a chromeContent.css file in there.

Yesterday I could access my passwords saved in Firefox, but today there were only two & those were in an open window for passwords. How can I recover my list of passwords, please? I'm using a MacBook Air with an M3 chip, Sequoia 15.3.1 Thanks so much!

Is your VPN a scam? Every time I turn off my computer it disappears leaving no trace. Same on my iphone as soon as I close the app it shuts off. What did I pay for please respond or refund my money

When printing - print font continually changes. Is there a way to set the print font ?

When accessing print option, it is necessary to go in and out of print mode to get the page to print in desired font. Why is this happening, and is there a way to select a specific font where all printing will adhere to?

Currently running on Firefox version 123.0.1 and IOS 12.7.3.

I recently replaced the battery in my macbook pro which required a refresh of Firefox.

Now when printing from the browser the labels all print 3x5.

All of my settings are correct and when I save my labels as a pdf they print just fine.

Before the battery swap labels printed from the browser just fine. Labels show reduced formatting in print preview.

Need some help here please.

Latest update (10/2/24) is impossible to use. How can I get back the prior version for Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1 on my Macbook Air?

I have a TBI that really limits my ability to process information. The tabs now have a dropdown that is very confusing and gets in the way of my working. I have to shut Firefox and leave the computer, but of course when I am recovered from the confusion, I come back to the same situation.

I was able to find a way to stop the even-more-frustrating dropdown video preview, but it's not enough.

I have relied on FF for years, but it seem that putting more bells & whistles is more important than providing a functional browser interface. Please explain to me in plain English how to remove the overloaded browser and revert to a version I can utlize without a breakdown.

Background: I need to run an enterprise web app on selected PCs and Macs, the browser will not be used for browsing, do not highlight security risks.

I must absolutely use Firefox 48 because it is the latest version to support showModalDialog()

I installed Firefox 48 on Windows and everything is ok, it works as it should.

On MacOS Sequoia, on the other hand, Firefox starts, the menus in the “Apple” bar at the top are usable, but the browser window is totally transparent, only the border and title bar are slightly visible.

I read on the support forum that it might be enough to disable hardware acceleration, but I can't do that because the options page doesn't even show!

My upper Apple menu is not visible unless I move the cursor up to the top of screen. This is the menu bar which includes the File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window, Help, icons and clock. I can't find how to correct this.

Firefox is stuck in a loop! After installing the 145 update, it just keeps asking me to sign into with my admin credentials to install "a new helper tool" over and over. After entering my password nothing happens and when I try to relaunch, the FF icon just bounces. ("Force Quit" shows that the application is not responding.) After multiple attempts, I rebooted my laptop, but it didn't help, as I still get the request for installing the helper too. I'm in the midst of multiple project deadlines and this is very frustrating! Thanks in advance for your help.

For the last month or so every time I restart Firefox (macOS 15.1.1) it asks for the master password, which I have saved in a third party password manager. Every time the prompt pops up I use my password and it won't accept it so I have to reset my password. This week I deleted the app from my computer, rebooted, redownloaded Firefox, and reinstalled it without any change in the behavior. Anyone have any ideas?

When attempting to pay for online purchases the new firefox upgrade (Mac 133.0.3) will not redirect from the merchant to the payment site. Yesterday, before the upgrade, was no problem making credit card purchases online; now, nothing. Please advise on how to set up new firefox version to allow redirect to payment websites from merchant sites.

Using a Macbook Air. Have gotten to the point that I don't want to update Firefox as every time I do, more websites do not work at all. MSN News has been messed up for months, so I cannot even use with Firefox--it used to be my homepage--now I can only use it on Chrome.

That is annoying but I can deal with it. BUT--there are bank websites that cannot be signed into at all using Firefox. Will not allow login--simply will not allow anything to be typed into the user id or password fields--just bizarre. Chrome works fine with the same websites. Not sure what is going on with Firefox. I prefer it to Chrome but if I can't log in to bank sites--it's really bad. I've used Mozilla browsers always--since inception, and dealt with all the issues from the updates, but whatever they've done now has rendered Firefox almost useless.
