With Yahoo (and other sites) suddenly every single time I am required to use the "authenticator app" routine. I've gone for months or even years with persistent sign-ins before. What happened? How do I get back?

It's like I'm in private mode - but I'm not in private mode.

Hello All I took my box to best buy because it was not working properly. They replaced the drive now I have no access to the passwords saved in firefox. Is there any way to get them back ? I have the old drive ! Any help greatly appreciated Gary

My router address with extensions is xx.xx.xx.xx/#/login. My previous router was xx.xx.xx.xx/cgi-bin/MANGA/index.cgi. When I type the IP address without anything after it, the URL entry changes from the new address to the old one every couple of seconds. I can't log into the router because it keeps changing. I disabled URL autocomplete, but it doesn't change it. Whenever I enter the address, it still completes with first the correct and then the incorrect URL.

How do I stop this? Thanks in advance.

Guys... while looking for a way to measure the performance of our site, we came across the Core Web Vitals (CWV) some time ago. These are Google KPIs for measuring the user experience on a page (https://web.dev/vitals/#core-web-vitals). Unfortunately, some of the KPIs (like the Largest Contentful Paint or Cumulative Layout Shift) are currently only accessible using Chrome and it's preformance API. That's a pity, because there are also many people using Firefox who visit our site... and it would be interesting to have such KPIs as well.

In an article by Cloudflare (https://developers.cloudflare.com/analytics/web-analytics/understanding-web-analytics/core-web-vitals/) we recently learned that Firefox is also planning to expose the metrics used in the CWV... only the "coming soon" from the article is a bit vague. That's why I'm contacting you to get some more information on that topic. Do you perhaps know whether the topic is planned and will be tackled this year?

Can you please tell me how to get my extensions to appear on the toolbar? As you can see from the image (titled "forFirefox03"), only one is shown.

The images (titled "forFirefox01" and "forFirefox02") show all the extensions that I would like to have on the toolbar.

I've included the "About Firefox" (titled "forFirefox04") to show you which browser version I have.

I don't know if I need to show you the title names, but I'm used to Microsoft Answers, where I can put the images between the text, and here, I can't, so I'm assuming I have to show you them as names and images.

Hi there! My linux crashed and I only have an access to the terminal now. I'm trying to save login information and bookmarks that were saved in the browser. I didn't use an account. So I'm trying to find a location in the linux system where it was saved. I used 'find' command with key words 'mozilla' and 'firefox' to find possible locations but I'm not sure that I covered everything. Maybe someone here knows exactly where I should look. Hi Mozilla, I subscribe to the videopass on motogp.com. I recently went on to renew my subscription but couldn't proceed because of the following message. "Sorry, we are unable to proceed with your purchase as we have detected that the billing address does not match your location" My profile location is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", but my billing location is "United Kingdom". They are apparently two different locations according to the website. I must add, these locations are from a dropdown menu so I cannot change them. I emailed motogp and their tech people reckon either my browser (Firefox) or my internet provider (Sky) could be having a conflict with the payment platform. What do you think? Personally, I think It's the website's problem but any advice would be helpful. This is the first time I have tried to renew, usually I just let it auto-renew. Regards,

Contrast disappears when I klick 'Login' eg. on 'https://www.elektor.de/'; other browsers are ok. AdGuard on or off makes no difference. Kind Regards [removed email from public]

Hi, When i want a new tab on Firefox i have 'Freshy' which appears while with Safari this does not happen .I heard that Freshy is an Hacker site .Pls lest me know how can I Remove it or avoid it Thanks for your feedback Regards

UPDATE - - problem solved - - Using Firefox Troubleshooting Mode I found that the problem was ''''caused by an added extension '''' which has been turned off (I hope) One thing I don't understand though is that I fixed this in Firefox but it also fixed it in Chrome. All images show up in both, so how does one browser fix a second browser? I have yet to check Safari but I never use that one anyway, so I'm not going to push my luck! Thanks Terry.

- - - I have a LOT (hundreds) of images that do not show up on many pages and each one is labeled,

403 Forbidden in the Network Monitor.

There are images that do show up on the same pages and the amount varies.

Those are labeled with a green 200.

What causes this and how can I fix it so they all show on the pages?

and do I have to fix each and every one? That would take months.

Couple of days ago I could not start up Mozilla Firefox due to a corrupted file. Naturally, I was immediately worried about my bookmarks, extensions, browse history...

In the end I re-installed Mozilla Firefox -without removing my old folders on C-drive and in AppData- and was able to recover my old bookmarks and extensions just fine.

However, for my old browse history I am not so sure. I have not found a way to restore those.

Could someone help?

I'm experiencing an issue with the search bar on the Firefox homepage. When I click into the search field and begin typing, the cursor jumps to the address bar, and the text I’m entering gets redirected there instead of staying in the search bar.

I've checked my search settings, and everything seems to be in order. I’ve also tried disabling add-ons, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this problem?

I'm running Version 108.0.1 on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro MacOS 12.6.2 Today I went to do a translation using the "to google translate" add-on and noticed it was missing from its place in the context menu. I go to "get more add-ons and re-installed it.

So why was it uninstalled without my consent? What can I do to stop this happening again?

Dear Mozilla team, how can I delete the search bar on the bottom of the page? I want to put information on top of the site, but my query lands in the bottom and I have to put all back again in order to do the search. The search bar appears on the bottom left side of any website. It is very annoying and I don't need it. Even if I want to search for something, it does not give any further information. thanks for your help!

I'm not sure exactly when this behavior started, but I've noticed that when I click a link to an XPI file on a third-party web-site, Firefox no longer prompts to install the extension.

For instance, when I click the outlined link in the first screenshot, the second screenshot shows what happens.

I have an account with a certain email. I need to use a different email for specific connections. Do I need to create a new separate Firefox account with the second email? If so, how?

Hi there, after turning on my computer in the morning, Firefox has been suddenly rendered utterly inoperable and pulls up a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR for all websites. No matter what I do, including all other fixes previously suggested on the Mozilla forums and elsewhere, nothing seems to work.

Things that I've already tried and did not work include: - Pausing Kaspersky Internet Security - Resetting WiFi router - Switching to a different WiFi - Turning on troubleshooting mode - Resetting Firefox entirely - Creating a new profile - Reinstalling Firefox (several times) - Installing Firefox for Developers - Flushing DNS - Turning off proxy settings

I really don't want to be forced to use Google Chrome. Is there anything else that I can possibly do that can fix this?
