where is the "clipboard"? how do i access "clipboard"? is there a "clipboard" or am i just dumber than box o rokz....to me a clipboard is a folder containing files i place there to be sorted and refiled at a later time that is convenient for my schedule ....that is def. of a "clipbard " i'm guessing doesnt mean same thing in cpu code....so then why have option for "clipoard " when downloading is other option, ezr to access from firefox menu , then close, open desktop menu to access each individual folder for screenshots

it started from yesterday... when i open firefox after a minute or less the browser suddenly close all tabs and show me a report crash windows. . my windows specifications:

• Windows 10 Pro
• version: 1909
• OS Build: 18363.1440

browser: Firefox version 87.0 (64-bit)

I tried this options but didn't help me and crash didn't stop:

1. open it in safe mode.
2. refresh browser option.
3. disable and delete all extentions.
4. delete cookies and web data button.

. there is some information that i noticed. I unistall and install again and until I didn't sign in to my "firefox account" on the top right corner of the browser, it didn't crashed. but still I want my account, passwords, bookmarks, ect... i sign in and crash started. i goes to appdata and delete firefox folder, start the browser again, my sign in to firefox account disappeared and the browser stopped from crashing. also the crash happened immediately after hitting sync now and happened a few seconds after going to firefox account settings. and it's happening after around a minute when i do absolutely nothing after opening the browser or go to website such as youtube. please help me. even though using another browser is crash-free but i wish to stay using firefox (with my firefox account)

I can save to MyPocket but I can't view it. "My Library" shows only Bookmarks, History, Downloads. It used to have "view Pocket". All answers I see only tell me how to generate icon to save to Pocket. I attach a screen print.

Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and Google Are Not Loading with Firefox 87.0 (64-bit). Firefox Reinstallation on 3/25/21 Didn't Fix Problem. Here is the error message when trying to load Yahoo! Mail:

Every time I type this into my windows run dialog, %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, so I can search for it, my computer totally shuts down!! Firefox had a meltdown of some kind a week ago where every time my pointer touched the open window it locked everything up totally. I finally had it looked at and the person had to uninstall firefox and reinstall it. I was trying to recover my old tabs from before that but now it keeps doing this. Any help?

After returning from my wisdom teeth removal, I accidentally told firefox to forget the last 5 minutes of history, and now all of my tabs (including a few very important signup pages) have disappeared. I understand that this option says that the action "cannot be undone," but is there any way for me to reopen or recover those closed windows? I am panicking a bit right now.

Hello, I didn't open Firefox from the 8th, I closed it normally as I always do with no worries since Firefox always launches with all my tabs+bookmarks saved and never remove cronology by itself. Guess updating must have done something, so I've read on the net and then here about some probable solutions, did find some files like recovery.jsonlz4 and .baklz4 along previous.jsonlz4 and sessionstore.jsonlz4 and saved them up in another folder, putting them back in the profile I've had on Firefox, but that didn't seem to have helped at all, Firefox still launches with nothing on and I don't know what to do anymore, so I've registered to ask for support here. when implementing canvas graphics with 2D context, I notified that the latest FF 87.0 on windows is much slower than chrome/edge/opera on windows and also much slower as safari on mac. I drilled into detail and detected that it was caused when drawing polygons with color gradient (see attached image). Means that using canvascontext.createLinearGradient() instead of flat colors makes it slow. On the other hand using flat colors is perfectly fast.

I wondered, because I had much better experience with FF and installed an earlier version (78.9.0esr) on the same windows workstation and the problem was gone. Seams, that some change made the newer FF slower with this type of graphic..

CPU is i7 8650U 1.90 - 2.11 GHZ, OS is Windows 10 version 20H2

But the effect is the same on all windows workstations I tested. Would be happy to see, that I can use FF again with these type of graphic apps.

"Pocket List" has disappeared in the drop down menu under the "library" icon where it used to be not more than a few days ago. It's not under the Bookmarks icon, either. the "Pocket" icon is in the menu bar, and I can save items to Pocket, but can no longer locate the page with the articles. "View List" does appear when you click the Pocket icon, but it also saves whatever page you're on whether or not you want to save it.

Recently, I had to change my username at my bank's website because somebody was trying a brute force attack on my password. Now, the site still shows my old username, although I've gone to my Saved Logons in Preference and removed all logons for that site except for the correct one. I have to delete the old username from the typing box every time I log in there, after which I can select the correct (and only) saved username/password.

Is there a way to set a web site as my home page and not have to reset it every week or so? Also, when will we be able to choose what web site is loaded when we open a new tab?

when I am on a video, picture..., and right clicked and executed "OPEN LINK IN NEW TAB", I would STAY on the tab I am on and continue to "open" new tabs. That way, I could open lots of new tabs from the page I am on.

Now, it TRANSFERS ME TO THE TAB I JUST OPENED and I have to "go back".

What changed with rel 87.0? How can I go back to "staying on my tab" I am on? I don't see any "options".

Hello, I format my desktop and i install firefox, i log in with my account but firefox not sync anything. I made many formats in the past but sync worked perfect. Why now dont work?

Good morning, please help & advise. I am obviously doing something wrong or missing something but I cannot find out how to disconnect my Primary Password which Firefox asked for everytime I click on Firefox. I only want to use the Primary Password when I want to open an excisting connection to a saved folder or site.

I hope I'm making sense.

I really like firefox but have to shut it down to add a new password if I don't use one of yours which are too long and complicated. And I don't think you need to have my passwords. Typical firefox password:

4ut693zdfcp049stev5dd679*. To long and too complicated. And does not give me choice to make my own. It is like a rabid pitbull.

Either I'm a dork or the instructions that I have found are not very clear. I have been trying for several days to transfer my settings from my desktop to a new laptop. I have gone to the %appdata%\mozilla\firefox\profiles page until I'm blue in the face. I transferred a directory called "m80s2e9e.default" from the profiles directory on the desktop to the %appdata%\mozilla\firefox\profiles directory on the laptop but keep getting "Firefox profile cannot be loaded" error. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Dale Webb
