Earlier I logged in to Firefox to pose a question. Checking email, I had a notice from Mozilla that my account was used to sign in: Firefox on Windows 10 / United States (estimated) / Thursday, Oct 23, 2025.

Does Firefox think I'm using Win 10??? I checked my computer and it verifies that I am running Win 11 with all updates.

Call me confused. Or is this a non-issue? I ask because I'm trying to get into a member website and after I login, it takes me to a page that is for new signers ... not an existing member. Has happened several times.

According to the article [Firefox Profiles] there is supposed to be a way to manage profiles through the account icon. I do not have that option on my build 140 with windows 11.

I created profiles using the about:profiles command; however, they seem to want to be separate accounts, not profiles.

I want help to achieve the functionality as described in the article so I can stop using Edge because I need to keep my work/personal/school accounts separate.

I received an email at an email account I don't use for my Mozilla Firefox, thus why seems suspicious and strange to me. So I researched it here and saw the answer to another persons same question. I did go and check, I am logged in. Firefox is my primary and I use it constantly. Also on my phone and tablet, same account. As I write this, I have about 15 tabs open and active. The email associated to my account is not the same as the one I got this email at. The email I got it in, I use for solicitation, signing up for things and things I don't trust. This is what the email stated (same info as what was posted by the other person that got this same post) I copied and paste vs. Screen shot... so the Mozilla logo didn't show up. Hiya! The email I used to make this account is my work email, since I only use this account when I'm at my job so I can have my necessary bookmarks at all times. We recently updated our emails at work to have a different address, so its now it's different. I can't change this manually, so here I am. The current email this account is listed under now will be deleted in about two years time, so I'd like to get ahead of that.

I am trying to convert from Chrome to Firefox. Everything is going well with my main account, but on my school account, I can't receive emails from out of my school district. Is there any way that I can make an account without email verification?

Over the past few days (Oct. 18, 2024) the green Download button has been missing. When can we look forward to the fix? Have uninstalled & reinstalled twice. Thanks.

Hello, Sorry to disturb but its been two days and I am unable to access my Google accounts (work and private) through Firefox in anyway. I have done all the basic fixes I can think of but with no success. I have deleted caches, checked plug ins, rebooted Firefox went through the trouble shooting mode, followed advice in the community forum, tried logging in from Google linked accounts. Spoke to our internal IT support at work but nothing has solved the issue as yet, spoke to Google support.

My assumption is that it has to be the browser as I am able to log into google with another browser but Firefox is my preferred browser and would like to use it again as such.

Please advise.

1. I have not entry "DisableFirefoxAccounts" in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox". 2. I have no policies.json file in firefox directory. 3. I have a message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." in "Settings" (about:preferences). 4. In "about:policies" I have DisableFirefoxAccounts=TRUE. 5. in "about:config" identity.fxaccounts.enabled=false and grayed out.

Please help me to turn on the sync of bookmarks. All these listed issues obviously have something to do with it.
