I started getting this message today - "this page is slowing down firefox. To speed up your browser stop this page" How can I fix it other than to start using Safari.

Why can't Firefox copy text to the clipboard anymore? It won't copy text from a web page, from a URL, or even from about:support "Copy text to clipboard"!!! I'm using version 1.22 64 bit on windows 11. I've reinstalled Firefox but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried "Troubleshoot Mode" and it's still broken!!!

I can paste into Firefox but something has broken copy!

hello ppl i hope u guys doing good look in some sites firefox is not playing any sound no audio like on facebook reels or watching a vedio there i cant hear anything and some sites also when i watch vedio i cant hear any sound but in other browser everything work perfect but i like to use firefox its audio prblm and pls know thats the prblm is not from my windows i have windows 10 everything work fine pls help me fix this thx.

I have windows 11 pro 23H2 and latest Firefox installed. I have no keyboard attached to computer and when I touch the adress bar nothing happens, touch keyboard does not show up. I tried with 3 different computers. Edge and Chrome works and shows the touch keyboard. Any suggestions or is there a bug?

I am a bookkeeper and use QuickBooks Online (QBO)(AUS version) as my preferred accounting program, Intuit recommends using Chrome, but I had problems with that too, in that it has fields in QBO that will not work, I have switched to Firefox because it handles the 'black' look and the columns within the ledgers are more stable, however Firefox is constantly crashing it can recover most times to where I was, but it is most infuriating. Question is, is this a known problem and can it be fixed by changing the settings? Geoff Woodford

For some reason when I try to download a screenshot of [this tweet] it fails every time; I tested it and it's just that tweet specifically. This has never happened before and I assume it's just a bug since copy-pasting still works. Any help with this?

I have some Bookmarks on my laptop. I have some of these Bookmarks (Not all) on my tablet, plus some other Bookmarks.

If I sync them, which direction does the sync work in? Will all my Bookmarks on my laptop now appear on my tablet (Which I do not want to happen)? Will all my Bookmarks on my tablet now appear on my laptop (Which I do want)? Will I end up with two copies of most Bookmarks, because all my laptop Bookmarks are transfered to my tablet, plus all my tablet Bookmarks are transfered to my laptop?

I cannot find any explanatioin of what Sync actually does.

Since a day or two the font size on my Menu Bar is way too small. I have been searching around and the solutions are not working or not what I want. I do not want to zoom in, I want my page size to remain the same, I only need the font size on the menu bar back to what it was. I tried the userChrome.css method and it did not work

BEFORE ANYONE ANSWERS THIS PLEASE STOP AND THINK. I have been using this browser since Netscape. I have been "managing" bookmarks for years and years but I have NEVER found a SOLUTION to managing bookmarks in a SIMPLE, USEFUL way. I have wasted hours and hours on this site looking for answers to the ongoing difficulty that EVERYONE has dealing with the BROWSER WARS imperative that bookmarks can be imported and therefore, perpetually duplicated in an infinite array of browser upgrades and OS installations over the YEARS AND YEARS. For those of us who have managed to ERR on the side of caution and always opt to live with the effects of this rather than risk LOSING the good data nested within, I implore Mozilla to THINK LONG AND HARD on developing a solution to this ONGOING PROBLEM WITH BROWSER BOOKMARKS MANAGEMENT OVERALL. Oh sure, there are hundreds of plugins that ultimately suck up the memory for partial solutions to the PROBLEM that is caused by each new installation of Firefox or other browser in which past bookmarks are imported and ultimately duplicated ad infinitum. I don't need to know all the things that are wrong with Microsoft and how developers or users create the problem, I need a SOLUTION.

Will Mozilla please be the FIRST BROWSER TO SOLVE THE DE-SHITIFICATION OF BOOKMARKS no matter how poorly mismanaged and duplicated they were in past iterations?

The more time I spend on this HELP site looking for answers, the clearer it becomes that this is a problem for DEVELOPERS to solve because none of the USERS can figure out the answers. So, BEFORE you tell me ANYTHING, SHOW ME THE MOZILLA FEATURE THAT SOLVES BOOKMARKS MANAGEMENT THOROUGHLY AND SIMPLY, because, so far, that clearly does not exist.

Your instructions under "help" say to click on "Firefox" and click on "preferences". When I click on Firefox the menu does NOT have "Preferences" in it. What's up with that?? And how do I clear the cache and cookies?

I did a 'refresh' of my browser, thinking that basic user information would be saved. But I lost all my tabs in OneTab (extension). Is it possible to recover them?

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

When I open the Manage Bookmarks in Firefox I have thousands (not exaggerating) of recently bookmarked items. How to I delete all of them? I think I turned that feature off via the browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked. I changed it from True to False I have tried deleting them one by one but it seems like they recreate and I am not making any progress deleting. How do I delete all of them?
