The last Firefox update, 126.0 (64bit), that was installed 2 days ago has caused various website's commentary or forums to not be displayed. For example, Yahoo finance page, attempting to read the "community" section of a particular stock such as Walmart (WMT) nothing is displayed. This happens also on news websites that allow commentary. Google Chrome does display commentary but I don't like using Google.

This is not the first time commentary has not being displayed after an update. Happened a couple of times last year.

The desktop pc is running Windows 11, version 23H2.

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

Hi, I am trying to save my most important Bookmarks as Shortcuts in Firefox Homepage, but Firefox is not showing the icons of the shortcuts, instead it is showing as Letters of the site. Please refer the image that I have attached. I travel for work and often stay at IHG properties (Holiday Inn, etc.). I have Firefox as my default browser; version 99.0. I cannot login to their wifi using Firefox; I have to copy the address and paste it into Google Chrome and after confirming my information I am able to browse normally until the next day; It must reset at some point.

I've noticed there is a "verified by Amazon" icon in my address bar next to the FF shield. How did it get there, can, or should, I remove it and how. I don't trust anything Amazon does, so if possible I would like it to be gone.

When i open up https://login.comptia.org i can see the website and it loads then it prompts me to login, but when i click the login button the website goes blank and turns all white and i refresh the website and it stays white. I have cleared all cookies and cache, and i have also refreshed firefox.

Firefox only shows a black box when i try to run an embedded video. It works fine on other browsers, specifically Microsoft Edge. I ran it in troubleshooting mode which fixed the problem temporarily but reoccurs when computer is off and then turned on.

On Firefox for Windows (on Windows 11 release 99.0.1), the first setting in Settings is "Open previous windows and tabs". This is incorrect. It doesn't do this. When checked, upon startup, it will restore one window, its tabs, & maybe its sessions (?), and it will send all the other Windows & their tabs to the bit bucket.

Users: KNOW & HEED this warning! Team: Please take what you've already done for that window and merely do it also for the rest of them? In the mean time, please change the wording to something like "Open one of the windows and its tabs". Ideally, identify which window has been chosen for this.

the downloads icon in toolbar (the one that says, "Display the progress of ongoing downloads" when hovering cursor over it) keeps randomly opening and showing me the files that have downloaded as if i clicked on it. my cursor is nowhere near the icon, so no accidental clicking on it. and it seems to happen when I'm not touching the keyboard, mouse or trackpad. it just pops open. and there are not current downloads--just a list of files that have already been downloaded. odd...

I want to be able to preview pdfs in firefox in a new tab without first downloading the file like it used to. But this version (99) of firefox won't allow me to do that. I tried selecting the "action" for pdfs in the applications section of settings to "open in firefox". What it does is preview the pdfs without downloading indeed but it previews it in the SAME tab which makes browsing more difficult. If I select "always ask", and then select "open with firefox" in the dialogue box, it opens the pdf to a new tab alright but it downloads the file FIRST. Is there a way around this please?
