I am tired of this [removed] browser quitting, even when I don't have it open...I am going to uninstall it and NEVER install it again...I tried a full uninstall to see if it would fix whatever the [removed] issue with it was, but it is doing the same [removed] again!...I don't have this problem with any other browser I use on my system (Chrome, Brave, Opera and Tor)...I am tired of dealing with this [removed], so you can just take your [removed] and shove it!!!

How the hell does a browser crash when it isn't even being used???!!!

No need to respond and ask for any logs or other [removed], because it will all be gone!!!

When typing comments on a web blog, after the spacebar is used, the first letter of the next word eliminates the previously typed space. So what I end up with is all words in a sentence running together. Tried other browsers and they work fine. Changed keyboard as well no joy. Typing is normal in applications like adobe, word, etc..... Only happens during Firefox use......... Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, also no help..... How do I fix ?

What am I supposed to do about this new problem?

"XUL Runner This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile." I did create a new profile. I have like 4 different profiles now from every time I've had to reinstall Firefox because it keeps crashing and freezing.

Using FF 100. Last week the Washington Post suddenly will not display article content correctly. Main page is fine, but when I open a story, I get code and a page with many blank areas. Story content appears with small print.

No problem in Edge nor Chrome.

Starting on 12/1/23 Firefox browser on Windows PC is Not Responding while loading up bookmarks toolbar. Switching to "Never Show" is only way to load the browser. Trying to open or manage bookmarks freezes up the FF browser again.

TO MOZILLA DEVELOPERS

In spite of hundreds if not thousands of users reporting this issue over and over again, and your suggested workaround to reduce memory usage in the settings that doesn't do anything - FIREFOX is still using unacceptably HUGE amount of memory.

With just FOUR (4) tabs open in one window, in the Task Manager I can see 17 (!!!!!!) Firefox windows open using 830 MB of memory. The highest usage of all my apps including memory hungry media apps. It's using THREE times as much memory as my Adobe Audition processing edits of a 1.5 hr audio with several clips.

This is insane!! You have gone crazy with caching to the point of making this browser unusable.

It's freezing up and crashing my Audition so before I work in it I must shut Firefox down completely - and I work on a powerful tower PC designed for media.

If you don't seriously cut back on this insane caching for the sake of browsing speed IN THE NEXT UPDATE, I won't be using your browser at all, it's simple as that. I'm already migrating my bookmarks and setting up Chrome which uses about half the memory that Firefox does with the same tabs, and I suspect that many users will follow suit.

The workarounds you offer DO NOT WORK. Any app that uses more than 500 MB of memory at any give time on my computer - goes.

Where are my answers ? Could you email me the answer of my yesterday numerous questions. At first: HOW CAN INSTALL JAVA SCRIPT ??? I wish you get this problem with your system 100,000 times and maybe you will do something

Every time I run browser it messages me that downloaded file contains a virus or malware, even I deleted the file long time ago. I tried Ctrl+J "Remove from history", "Clear downloads" and Organize/Delete that entry - Nothing helps. Its deleting, but when I run Firefox its appears again and again. This bug is terrible annoying, please fix it.

Your new update, like your last several suck. It is sssllllooowww to load most webbsites. Watching a video is frustrating, pausing every few secons. I am SICK OF EATCHING THAT WHEEL GO ROUND AND ROUND. What is most frustrating is your damned "Update" looser, piggy-backed of of a windows update. I DID NOT want an update, because you idiots cant create a update that doesnt screw up every aspect of peoples browsing or interne5 experience. To m,ake it worse, you cowards hide. There is no way to contact a HUMAN, your help is a bunch of questions that are never answered by [redacted]. Since nobody can write a workable update, Get a job at a fast food joint, and hire people who give a damn, an can actually write something that [redacted] WORKS!!!!!!! My Firefox crashes almost constantly, up to several times every couple minutes. I recently wiped my entire computer and reinstalled Windows (to fix other problems, among this one) but the issue is still happening. I have a list of a couple dozen crash logs that I can show, and I have tried reading through them and debugging to no avail. The crashes also still persist in Troubleshoot mode. I have included the most recent crash reports with my freshPlease help.

I have recently reinstalled windows and then installed Firefox. When I go to settings then click on an item Firefox freezes.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled (with revo uninstaller) but it still happens.

Would appreciate suggestions.

I asked this question about 115.4.1 and was told to try in safe mode. However I cannot connect to my mail servers of which I have 2 and Gmail when in safe mode. Please look into the resource handling problem with the new Thunderbird under Win10.

1) Whenever I open Thunderbird the Gmail messages apparently get refreshed taking several minutes. I have cleaned up that inbox and limited to 366 days of mail.

2) I spent hours moving mail from past year from my other accounts into local storage. You no longer can scroll and block select more than about 20-30 messages at a time regardless of the background activity 1) above. The program requires you to repeatedly release shift key to grab more than a few messages. If you are able to grab say 1000 messages, and try to move them, the system chokes and does not respond.

3) Any background activity impedes the ability to scroll the inbox.

The new versions are crippled in some way as far as resources. The older version was more tolerant.

Please listen to complaints. Putting in safe mode I cannot troubleshoot. It is also very difficult in Win10 to follow instructions to safe mode unlike previous OS.

Yesterday, David suggested that I find out 1) what are my incoming server settings, 2) my STMP, and 3) to report any error messages. When I contacted the company from which I have broadband, their reply to 1) and 2) was that it was Mozilla Thunderbird that could reply as they did not have that informaion), and in regards to error messages, i have received none, except where, "Send now" appeared before, there is a chubby pen leaning to the right, followed by the word "write, (subject), and "Thunderbird." I have not been able to send an email for almost a week. What is the matter?
