On a laptop running Windows 11, all videos I play in Firefox have been strangely dark and orange. Depending on their original appearance, this can make them unwatchable.

This only affects videos in Firefox, and only on this laptop. Chrome, Windows video player (and Firefox on my other devices) do not share this issue. The issue affects all monitors I connect the laptop to.

I have attempted: -A thorough search of Firefox settings and found nothing related. -Refresh and reinstall of Firefox -in about:config

   gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true
   Confirmed ui.videoDynamicRange was set to to 0

None of these has helped. According to all the evidence I can find online, a similar issue was caused by a problem with HDR video files and fixed in an update 2 years ago, but I am running version 127.0 and am up to date.

ever time i watch something i will go to pause it and noting will happen and if hover over a video and preview it won`t stop until i close the tab how do i turn this off?

I'm a user of Mozilla, it's my main browser. I use it for everything and especially for Youtube. But, recently, some changes have appeared and not for better. I don't know why or if it's only me. The thing is Youtube is not like the real site but something else and so i lose options or settings. I don't have anymore the mutiple screen size options. There's a button that says "watch this on Youtube" while i'm litteraly on Youtube.. And now i want to watch a video with a age restriction and it'tells me i have to be connected to Youtube while i'm connected.

Can someone answer me about this or make it noticed by Mozilla employees ?

Hello. I am not familiar with this end to end encryption that Facebook now does for Messenger but now when I try to use Video Calling/Chat it tells me it is not supported by my browser, Firefox. I have never had any problems with it before. Is there a fix? Thanks

Every other browser works fine. This one stopped dead on Win10 and Android9. It wont stream even in safe and my Android has no add ons

FIRST PROBLEM (I have been unable to submit a help request from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form)

Windows 10, fully updated with the latest firefox version. Email program is MS Outlook through my employer. Email notifications are overwhelmingly loud if the global volume is sufficient for viewing content. Playing with the volume mixer doesn't help. I have searched for solutions online, and every suggested fix entails features or options that are not available on my system. Please provide complete instructions for Windows 10. Please respond to lanzcc@potsdam.edu

SECOND PROBLEM

Submit button on page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form never succeeds.

This morning I saw that images were not downloading within my GMAIL messages. Believing that something was wrong with my connection, I decided to give both my computers a restart. This concerns my Windows 10 64-Bit, on which I had both Edge and Firefox opened, both with multi-tabs. In Firefox I had my Google account open with other tabs. After shutting down both computers I left my apartment. The Windows 10 restarted on its own; but both browsers lost their tabs even though I set each to reopen the previous session. With Edge and function keys I was able to restore my previous session; but not with Firefox. about:sessionrestore was not available. The Profile folder did not show a backup for these lost tabs. I hate hunting for them in History because I am working on multiple projects and don't have time for this wasteful activity, which is why I set Startup to Open Previous Windows And Tabs. What option did I miss?

Now, we have more wasted time. I reopened as many tabs as I remembered opened during the session I could not restore. Now, the only tabs that reopened since are the ones I opened that have posts about restoring sessions. The tabs I reopened are lost even though I checked off Open Previous Windows And Tabs. This browser is performing worse as of today for some reason I am not aware. What changed? From what I see here, there was no MS Windows update that might have occurred when I shut down and lost the tabs. Could I have disrupted the tabs by using the right hand, top corner "X" to shut out of Firefox?

This is getting more and more whacked up! It seems that every time I reopen a tab within the Library, it opens it in the same tab, overlaying the previous tab I opened.

I cannot get the print button to work in my emails. I used to be able to close Firefox and re-open and then it would work, but today that did not work. I shut down my computer completely and still it does not work. I am attaching a snip of the screen showing the print button.

I have no idea how to fix a problem that just emerged in the last hour.

I can't download file attachments sent by email. Yesterday I could. I have been using Mozilla Firefox as my browser for more than 10 years. I tried restarting my computer that didn't help.

Every time I sign into something using Firefox the recaptcha does not allow me to continue. If I switch to Google Chrome it works. Please help me to be able to use Firefox.

When I'm browsing, especially when shopping, say, Amazon, eBay, or Swanson Vitamins or wherever, FF opens a new tab which remains open to the right of the left-most original tab. Of course, when I + a new tab which I want it to stay open, it opens and, again, by itself, FF closes the first tab and the latter takes over the left-most spot. And, in case of eBay, when I click on an item I want to check, it keeps on opening a new tab on the original tab. Placing the cursor on FF icon on task bar displays all the tabs. I never had things like above happen with previous issue FF. Of, course, I don't know since which FF version was stable in the way I wanted. Does anyone know how to set FF to stop taking all these unwanted actions?

There is a hacker who accessed my Google account via Firefox about 10 hours ago, with the result my language setting has been switched to Korean. I live in Hong Kong and have never been to Korea, and I do understand Korean at all. Can you help pls? Thx.

The screenshot is missing in settings: I typed about:certificate and it is showing the DigiNotar Root CA - Server. I clicked on it,and it say "Explicitly Distrust DigiNotar Root CA.

The color on top of the Desktop is a blue gray color not black like it shows on the instructions steps when there is a picture showing the menu with instructions. I am getting a message when I open Firefox saying that "Open or Refresh Firefox" It has caused me a problem when clicking on it

Also, I don/t know if this the community help which I am trying to get help because of the problems I am having.

Question: Does Firefox runs on Chromium or it it a Chromium?

Hello, my browser keeps coming up with my location as Boydton, VA 23917, My actual location is Collegeville, PA 19426. Other browsers get my location correct, only Firefox continues to come up with Boydton, VA 23917. Could there be someone accessing my account in Boydton, VA 23917?
