Good day!

After the last firefox update, there was a change in the way screenshots are saved. Specifically, the file names are the same, only for some pages they create them uniquely as it was before. I am sending an example of a name (Screenshot 2024-06-17 a[...]) that is the same for different screenshots and therefore I always have to rename it. Before the update, this never happened, each screenshot had a unique file name, so it was saved without the need to enter a file name.

I use this feature very often and i find it very annoying to create file name and it is very impractical and time consuming. Can it be set somewhere? Or what should I do. I really like this function of firefox and I don't use another browser because of it. I don't even plan to, because I think it's the best browser and has a lot of great features. This is one of them and I'm really disappointed that it got worse with the update.

I was editing a fillable PDF document in Firefox, which I had saved repeatedly (saved over existing file) as I was making changes.

After a crash, I selected "recover session" and the document was open but was now empty. Another document I was editing, which was not open in Firefox but was being saved to a separate file, did not experience the loss of data entries.

Would anyone happen to know the reason for this issue and whether there is any way to recover the data?

I am amazed not being able to open sites like Banggood and a few others. Tried to delete all the controls on the item but it does not change the behavior of Firefox. Please inform.

Greetings support team. The problem is a bit complicated and I could't find anything similar to it on the net, so I'll try to explain in details what happened. One day after opening the browser I noticed that it didn't launch(there was no window). After opening it again I saw that all of my previously opened tabs were gone. After that I closed Firefox and went to check the task manager. I found that Firefox was still running after closing it. I couldn't wrap my head around it and killed the programm. Then I opened it again and got the same results: first launch: no Firefox window(nothing on the taskbar either), secound launch: one empty tab. After that I opened a new tab in Firefox through task manager and my screen "swiped right", I got access to Firefox window with all of my previous tabs, but all the other programms I had opened on the taskbar were gone. Somehow Firefox opens outside my screen on a "separate one" every first time I launch the app, and the only way to switch between "screens" is to open a new tab through task manager or launch a program that was previously active to switch back to previous "screen". It is also impossible to switch between opened windows on different "screens" using gestures on the touchpad or "Alt" + "Tab". I use a laptop and never even tried to attach/connect a second monitor. I don't have another monitor attached via bluetooth or any other means in device manager. I have the latest verion of windows 10 installed and updated. I have another PC, where I use the same Firefox with the same addons on the same Mozilla account, which has no such issues. I have tried renaming the file called "xulstore.json" to "xulstore.old" or deleting it entirely, this didn't resolve the issue.

I have been trying to contact support about an issue regarding being able to change my account password to the page at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form, however I cannot seem to submit any information. When I try, the page reloads, followed by multiple uncaught errors observed in the console, including a cross site origin request block error (in the latest stable Firefox). My browser settings use the standard browser privacy setting, and custom DNS.

Regarding the error I was trying to report, I am unable to change my password, receiving "incorrect password" despite entering the correct current password. In the browser console, a POST response with error 400 is shown.

Apologies if I'm repeating a previous request - couldn't tell if it was submitted.

I'm running Windows 10. While changing the startup screen somehow an image I thought was deleted appeared and now is frozen, apparently on top of a Firefox window. I've rebooted, restarted and followed the Windows help suggestions with no success. Right now I don't know whether this is a Firefox or Windows problem. I updated Firefox today to the newest version before this happened.

Any help will be appreciated. I can open new Firefox windows.

I am experiencing a significant issue with my website, which fails to load when accessed via Google Chrome. The website works perfectly on other browsers like chrome, Safari, and Edge.However, when attempting to Click here in mozila, the page remains blank and does not load at all. Additionally, I have noticed a persistent problem with reCAPTCHA. Even though I solve the CAPTCHA correctly, it repeatedly appears, preventing me from accessing the site. I've been trying to install an add-on that is in the .zip format. I set xpinstall.signatures.required to false and restarted the browser, yet Firefox keeps telling me the add-on cannot be installed because it's not verified. Is there a way to change this?

I can open an email or a google search for this particular website, Sundance, click on an item which then opens on my screen but Firefox is unresponsive when I click within this item screen for details like available sizes and colors. This is the only site that this has occurred.

Firefox version is: 127.0 (64-bit)

My problem is that Firefox seems to be ignoring "#:~:text=highlight this".

Maybe there's something under about:config? I can't find it.

Back in October 2022, changes were made to how private windows appear, separating their icon in the OS taskbar, giving it a new icon, and putting a badge on the top right of the window.

At the time, support threads (such as this one https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1393494#answer-1542568 ) suggested changing three options to revert these changes: -browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled -browser.privatebrowsing.enable-new-indicator -browser.privatebrowsing.enable-new-logo I really dislike how these changes look, and so immediately followed this advice. In my advanced options, every one of these is still set to "false" to this day. However, after a recent Firefox update (my current version is listed as 127.0), these no longer seem to have any effect making the new look the only option.

I would strongly prefer to at least re-combine the taskbar icons for standard and private browsing into a single icon. Is there any way to do this in the current update, or is this change permanent going forward? If it is permanent, would reverting to version 126.01 risk losing my current Firefox profile?

Unlike opening a regular new window or even just opening a new private browsing tab in an existing window, when I open a private browsing window, the address bar isn't auto-selected. I know I can use 'Ctrl+L' to select it but that's not a habit I've been able to train yet, and doing so would be much more frustrating than just using firefox in a more intuitive way. How can I change this? Is there anything that can be done? I can't find any relevant setting when digging into the 'about:config' section, nor in any of the regular app settings.

Windows 10. Have used Firefox for years with no problem. Out of the blue, when Firefox is invoked, it comes up, but the screen dims after a few seconds, an the hourglass appears and Firefox freezes at that point. I have to use Task Manager to close it. I tried uninstall and that failed. Then I manually deleted the Firexfox program files. When I tried to install the program from Firefox, that failed as well with a window that pops and says there was a problem. I went to this site, no worries, nothing there but asks you to click...which you should not do. It says to copy the fix and paste it into the windows shell... sounds obvious, it's a scam. Except, this is a major funding company.

So the question is, is this legit from firefox? Or is that what? Go to myforwardsavings.com and you'll see what i mean. Or, see image i have included.

Hopefully someone up the chain in firefox can let me know. As i intend to report them if this is nefarious. Thank you.

When i open https://provider.transporteg.com/ this website and login in the portal this is not showing the bidding running time and processing time . please solve this.
