Recently became unable to update Spybot and Malwarebytes. Ran Windows Defender which didn't find anything but when I run ClamWinPortable, it produced and moved the file to quarantine. This makes Firefox unusable. Reinstalled Firefox via another browser and the same thing happens. Do you have any suggestions please?

When I open Firefox browser the browser restsets and changes color to pink in the web address line. I have asked this question before. Is there someone technically familar with Firefox that can resolve this issue?

Hello! I have Firefox and Google set to Dark Mode. Suddenly this week, when I do a search, the answers are coming up not in dark mode. I can hit refresh several times and it will eventually go back to being Dark.

I have checked and I am running the lastest version of Firefox and my Windows is up to date.

Hi my old account email doesnt exist anymore, I cannot log into that account so i cant login to Firefox because its sending a confirmation code to my old email but i cannot login to this email account anymore so i cant get the code to login to firefox. Is there anyway I can still change the email adress from my account? Thank you!

When selecting a file to upload, firefox freezes, when windows file explore pops up to select a file. Looked through a the help articles, but many are older and do not relect on my perticular issue, or they are to technical for me. Need to register a product and must upload a photo and order cop...go figure???

This error started a few days ago. I tried to do a system restore but that failed and now I can't find the restore point that I was using just yesterday. It only happens in FireFox, edge and chrome seem to work ok

A while ago I stupidly deleted my main email for my Firefox account (I didn't realize at the time that they were connected). It was a protonmail account so there are 0 methods of account recovery. I want to switch the primary email to a non-deleted email, however I obviously cant because I cant get the verification code that is sent to the primary in order to allow that to happen. Is there something to do about this or am I screwed?

Suddenly my Firefox cannot open saved .htm/.html files on my pc but Edge can. I don't know when this happened but probably during the last month or so. When I try to open a saved .htm or .html file Win10 gives me a "Windows cannot find (path and file name)" error. If I "OPEN WITH" Edge it works just fine. I've checked my default apps and file type associations and they are all properly set to Firefox. I did a RESTART in Firefox but that was no help. Is this actually a Windows problem, or do I need to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox? Currently running Win10 (64-bit) and Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit).

Hello! Google won't keep me logged in onto their services on Firefox, so that means for every time i open up Firefox I have to re-log in. I don't know why this happens, and I want to keep myself logged in onto google services but I don't know how to toggle it. Please help thank u!

I have 228 kb of cached web content that will not clear. I am also unable to get past the initial pages of cabelas.com. I can get to cabelas, then click on camping, then click on camp chairs, and that is where it stops. I tried it using microsoft edge and it works fine, so my desktop pc isn't the problem. Sportsmans Warehouse has a similar web site layout and it works fine, so the 228 kb is strictly related to cabelas. The 228 kb of cached web content that won't clear and the cabelas problems started together.

No matter how many times I clear the cookies, data, web cache, that 228 kb stays right there.

If I can find some way to clear that 228 kb, I bet cabelas will again work.

Started a few days ago.

Facebook, from bookmarks or freshly typed, does not like my password. States "password entered is incorrect".

This appears to be the Windows version only (126.0.1(64-bit)), as I can login from other, android, devices. Have not tried from a Linux version as none are current.

I have checked and FF does have the same credentials on each device tried. Attempting to reset password from the Windows version will tell me "something has gone wrong".

I have always used facebook messenger to video chat with friends, however suddenly it says tis facility is not supported by this browser. Do I have to leave firefox to find a browser that works?

Due to one of your recent upgrades I can no longer stay logged into regularly used penned sites that I do NOT log out of when I close the Firefox browser. For years I never had to do this. Now I am.

I was doing some research, and I came across for Firefox BYOB, which was a way to create your own skinned, branded version of firefox for company or personal use.

I went to the site, and it was inactive. I am interested in this because of the fact that adding reactive web apps to the home screen in browsers is not an option on iOS, and I think a solution for this would be to have a specific protocol that can be called in shortcuts to open a reactive web app in a specific mode so as to not break the immersion.
