In less short, my case (because one needs to always justify one's methods), I set up a subdomain on a separate IP/host and I'm trying to test some project for which I use a webpage as a small visible part. However, the domain uses HSTS (HSTS == very nice).
However, I'm just casually testing something using a subdomain (or even a fake domain, or a real domain pointing to a new server being prepared, maybe using /etc/hosts) pointing to an external or internal IP on some old computer on my LAN or even on my own computer. And that's not possible anymore.
People should always have the option to bypass a warning, and I'm all for the warnings. If anything, there shouldn't have been a box with the option "always remember" ticked by default. There are other cases where this can be useful, some we don't even know yet.

I cannot get Firefox to open at all. This has been an issue on this laptop for a while now. I un-installed it including removing the Program Files sub-folder for Firefox. After the installer completed, it tried to open it and it crashed. I have the latest Windows 10 updates installed and have run security scans on this laptop from various vendors. There is no spyware, viruses or other malware.

Hi, after updating opening page in new tab via right click gives me blank page. Oh and apparently it's also happened when I entering site via address bar, but clicking a link loads the page normally.
The blank page usually last only around a mere 0.5 second to the dreaded 2 seconds, and after that the page will kind of reloading itself (or maybe start connecting?) and start loading normally. The thing is in some case—around one in twelve—the page stuck at that blank page, and I have to reload the page to fix it.

When I log onto secure websites to pay credit cards etc. the initially send me a text or e-mail so that it verifies my computer. It recognizes my computer up until I do a Firefox update, at which time I have to redo the entire verification process again because the sites no longer recognize my computer. Firefox is currently trying to get me to update my browser but I'm avoiding it because I have payments to make next Weds. and I really don't want to go through the constant re-authentication. Can I stop updates or is there some method to prevent it from making my computer no longer recognized?

My master password and all my stored password disappeared in Firefox 53. In security setting tab of setting the "use master password" checkbox is disabled and if I try to enable it a pop up error window is opened. Rolling back to Firefox 52 the situation returns to normal status and the master password appears again. What's happening? Is there an undocumented incompatibility? If we reload the page immediately it comes up correctly but wait too long and it goes wrong again.
It does this 30 - 40+ times a day!
Only firefox seems to have this problem. I tried adding 'www' to the front so above would become 'www.xyz.com/dir1/dir2/abc.php' This worked fine for a day or 2 then it started going wrong again. The content of the web page makes no difference - I substituted a 3 byte file for a problem page so it only contained 'abc' = no markup at all and it STILL went wrong.

i'm seeing a bunch of anomalies such as taskbar buttons closing & reopening without my doing anything to cause it. i'm seeing flashes of some sort of changes to the top window border. i'm seeing the text input stop responding momentarily. i'm seeing windows open & close before i can see what they are. i'm seeing a busy icon for the mouse pointer while some of these things are happening.
the browser itself hasn't crashed & the plugins haven't crashed (though flash crashed a time or two). i turned off the automatic adjusting of the clock & that caused things to stop for about a minute or two & then it began doing it again.
it is beyond annoying & justifiable reason for me to not only uninstall firefox but also speak of the avoidance publicly.

So I need a way to either update my e-mail address or delete my Firefox account all together, so that I can start a new account with my new e-mail address.
