When I opened my iPad all tabs saved in private browsing had disappeared. I keep them there not because they are particularly private but for ease of access. A note from Google said that it had changed my settings as they didn’t know if I was over 18. (I’m 75!) and I needed to sign in to Google. I always use Duck Duck Go as my search engine on my desktop and do NOT want to use Google if possible. Can you help. I’m really fed up/ angry about this intrusion. Sorry for explanatory ramble. I'm on Firefox 127.0 (42448) ios and all my private tabs were closed on update and now whenever I make a private tab it disappears after the app is closed or refreshes. It's kind of behaving like the setting where private tabs are closed automatically but when I looked in the privacy settings of firefox ios it's not there anymore. Does anyone else have this issue? I know theres an existing problem with tabs for firefox but I don't think this is exactly the same because my normal tabs are totally fine.

The button in settings/privacy/close tabs automatically has disappeared in firefox for ios v 127. It appears that I no longer have the option to keep my private tabs open which is very inconvenient

Firefox for iOS version 127.0 (42448) deletes tabs when app is closed. The option to keep tabs when the apps is closed has been removed from the privacy menu. So how can I configure the app to keep tabs between sessions?

Got up this morning and FF said all my tabs were crashed - GAH! Could not open ANY new tabs, not even a blank tab, without getting this message. Clicking on restore tabs did nothing. Closing & opening FF did nothing. Cleared startup cache & uninstalled ublock origin (the only extension I had) but that did nothing. Refresh firefox did nothing (except lose some of my preferences). Went to about:crashes and all it says is "No crash reports have been submitted." Every other suggestion I found online was beyond my comprehension. FF DOES work in troubleshooting mode only, but I lose some important functions in that mode. I've been using FF almost since it was born and have NEVER encountered a problem like this before. I hope someone can help!

When I go to home button or search bar to visit a new web site it opens on a new tab instead of the current tab. I'd like to have the option to open it on the current tab, and dont go back to close the older tab everytime. Perhaps I coulnt find it in settings. Thank you

when I used to use edge, I would browse in incognito. sometimes I would accidentally open a link that would open in the normal browser, but I was able to simply exit without closing all my windows, including my incognito tabs

with firefox, when I'm browsing incognito, something similar would happen.

part of the problem is, that my main tabs are multiple windows, and when i choose to close them, it closes the incognito tabs as well

is there a way to prevent that?

when I select a Tab and then select from the context menu -Share- I can share the selected tab which means that the URL is copied to the application selected to share the tab with.

When I select from the context menu -Select All Tabs- and then from the context menu -Share- also only one tab can be shared.

Am I wrong in expecting that all the tabs be shared after -Select All Tabs-?

Just today when I opened private browsing tab on my firefox it opened a new separate window and an icon appeared on the taskbar unlike before where the private window would be one with the firefox icon on the taskbar. I tried the fix of editing the config browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled and turned it to false but still it did not work. I also disabled all my studies but it still is the same. I have attached several screenshots about the problem and solutions I tried.
