Profile passwords?
I have Thunderbird installed with Windows 8.1 and now have profiles set for 2 different people. How do I get a password set-up to log on for each profile? FYI-I'm using Thunderbird version 24.4.0, I'm new to Thunderbird and any help would be greatly appreciated. After getting all my contacts and messages transferred to a new computer (and learning an all new OS. I had XP) my brain is exhausted. I googled the heck out of this topic and can't seem to find any simple step by step way to accomplish this. Thanks.

There is no such thing as a profile password. Use separate Windows account for this.

This was a feature of Outlook Express that worked fine on one computer in one household. Surely there is an add-on or something to accomplish this. My wife and I use all the same programs, browser settings, etc. We only really need a password for the 2 Thunderbird e-mail accounts. Having to log on with separate user accounts for all the normal routines (and thus having to set-up all other programs twice is a real pain. (Two separate Windows accounts is the route I originally took.)
For really trivial security. https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/profilepassword-en.html
Do you know how I install this in windows 8.1? It's not very user friendly after clicking on the download button.
