If this is in a regular form field, the entry is part of form history. To remove it, when you start typing the address and the bad match shows up, arrow down to it using the down arrow key on the keyboard, then when it is selected, press the Delete (or Del) key on the keyboard.

If that doesn't work, you could use an extension such as the following: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad.../form-history-control/.

If this is in a username field, you may need to delete the saved login from the passwords dialog.

Or, if you meant the address bar, search for the bad URL in history and remove it there. Either:

• Ctrl+Shift+h
• History > Show All History

You can use the search box at the upper right of the Library dialog to drill down to the bad entry (or entries).

I tried deleting history,but wrong address is still coming up when I put in correct address in browser,my computer skills are low
