Firefox crashes
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Processor: AMD FX 8350 8 core black
Ram: 8.0 g
Antivirus: Kaspersly Pure 2.0
Since using Firefox (for over 10 years now) I see increased instability and a catastrophic inability to handle Adobe Flash. I experience more and more frequent total crashes to desktop because of it.
In the process, I lose all the work I was in the middle of, doing research on various web pages in order to write technical postings.
At this point I am experiencing 3 to 5 crashes per day, with an average of 5 hours total time spent using the browser.
This is no longer acceptable, as Mozilla appears to be doing NOTHING to alleviate the problem - which appears to be an inability to free the memory resources used by Flash. When the files are unused for a long enough time, they should be automatically deleted, instead of accumulating to approx 500 mb.
Since Mozilla seems completely uninterested in correcting the issue, and more interested in pointing the finger of blame everywhere else, I am now forced to return to using IE.
I can't stand IE. That should illustrate how completely fed up I am on inaction to this issue.
Firefox would be ideal - IF IT WAS RELIABLE. It no longer is.
And I cannot continue to reduplicate my research and resume writing long articles from scratch every time it crashes.
I would much rather use your product, but as long as it continues to crash, I cannot.

Only a fraction of the crashes and freezes have genenerated a report, but this is what is there. It specifies that these are submitted crash reports, but the crash reporting window sometimes crashes itself, and often never appears at all.

Sorry you are having problems. This seems to be the first time you have asked about your troubles on this forum.
If your crashes are Flash Player related have you tried
- Disabling Hardware Acceleration
Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems_turn-off-hardware-acceleration - Disabling protected mode

I've tried every fix in the help forums for this issue - so many that I can't now recount them all.
Only one thing worked: Disabling Flash.
OK that is a good positive result. You have shown the problem is because of FlashPlayer.
Please follow my advice above and
- Disable Hardware Acceleration or run in Firefox's Safe Mode
- Disable Flash Players Protected mode.
- Post two or three of the none empty Crash IDs that you then get, confirming they were with protected mode disabled and all other plugins disabled

Note that report #2 ([@ InterlockedCompareExchange ]) is an issue with the Flash plugin.
It has been a while, but after analyzing more crashes there is a virus that is on the computer that submitted the crashes that may be affecting the wifi [WiFiGO_HookKey.dll]

With the benefit of hind-site stands out like the proverbial sore thumb; as potentially suspect; because it is an undated module.
It appears files of that name will sometimes be genuine.
Presumably genuine files are dated and have different identifiers.
Any link to the specific virus information and removal steps ?
( Just moving & renaming the file will presumably render it inactive )
