i have tried everything i can to stop the search engine my start from opening when im on firefox but it will not go away i dont want it, i have looked all over and everyone says the same they only have this fault with firefox please help me get rid of it or i will have to unistall firefox. i have manged to stop it opening as my mane page but after that every time i put something in the bar up comes my start, i can find nothing in the programs box that relates to my start in any way shape or form or to incredibar. please tell me what to do one very very very stressed customer

hello gj6031, please try to install the search reset addon - it will revert the most common customziations those adware programs do in firefox back to the default: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

also go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.

Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page
