Why doesn't one of my bookmark folders show up.
However, when I type a web address of a stored bookmark in that folder, it auto suggests, just as it is stored. There is only one folder missing. The folder used to be in alphabetical order, and is not in unsorted bookmarks, etc. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide!

When you are viewing a page in that folder, click the star button in the url bar and the dialog should allow you to expand the folder tree and see where that folder is now. Does it work?
Also, are you really running Firefox 6? That version is too old now to be safe on the web; you should choose a version that has had security updates such as Firefox 11.

You may have dragged that folder by accident into another folder.
- Show Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/
- Go Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/go-parent-folder/
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
You can also try to repair the places database with this extension:
Thanks for the heads-up on upgrading my FF from 6.0 to 11.0 - I've done that. I'm going to sync my bookmarks, and reinstall. When I got home last night, I checked the other computer and the bookmarks were where they should be. I think it could be a fluke thing that is going on with sync.
Thanks for the input!
