I'm not a computer guy. I'd seen the tutorial; it just isn't very helpful to me. I'm a Windows XP user, so that portion wasn't useful. And working from the Firefox side doesn't help a lot, either. I'd through up m y hands and walk away, except that one site I use a lot is very Internet Explorer hostile. Firefox works, but when I went to cut and paste, it told me I was blocked from this, due to the danger of copyright infringement- even though I'm using my own files. So, it told me I needed to change my profiles. Which started all this.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

• Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
